"I thought you might have been busy herding your students into the dorm," Simon mumbled, blushing slightly when he felt her hand on his. He had to snicker at her comment about cooks being eaten, but at the same time, he wondering if it really happened enough to be considered cliche. He hoped not, because he wasn't really all that afraid of being eaten. But if it was a common thing, then it was definitely something to worry about.

His face got even redder as he looked away, feeling silly for, as she said it, 'bonding under a desk'. It wasn't too horribly uncomfortable, but the phrase 'under a desk' just didn't sound right. "I..." He was a bit at a loss of words, not really sure how to respond without saying something cheesy like 'I like everything about you'. But then, he didn't really have to say much of anything, because before he could even get a word out, something big and black dropped on top of their hands.

He jumped and hit his head on the desk, wincing in pain before realizing what it was. It was that stupid unnaturally large pill bug that he decided to keep on a whim. "Robbins..." He sighed under his breath, wondering how the oversized insect managed how to get out of her cage.

"I made sure they got outside the school safely," Zhori said, looking down at the bug that dropped on her hand. She wasn't all that startled considering by this point she half expected Ben or Jerry to pounce them at any time This wasn't either of the roaches though. "Then I came to make you're you were okay. I didn't want a repeat of last time," she said, poking the new bug.

"Robbins?" She looked up at him. "A new friend for the lads then?" Reaching up, she rubbed the top of his head. "Are you alright? We're supposed to be hiding under here to avoid getting hurt, you know."

Well, that was better than what he did. As soon as Simon heard the announcement, he hid under his desk, letting his students fend for themselves. He was sure that someone out there would help point them in the right direction, but now he felt bad for pretty much abandoning them. He smiled when he noticed that Zhori wasn't startled at all by Robbins, but at the same time, he was little disappointed. A little fear couldn't hurt, and it was a bit lame that his own pet made him jump and not her.

"Oh, I won't let myself get chewed on again. I refuse to get involved with any giant monster fights ever again," He reassured her, since that was exactly the reason he hid under his desk in the first place. No more being munched on. No more fairies trying to get him killed.

"Yes, isn't she cute? She's a bit... overweight though. And I'm not sure Ben and Jerry like her very much. They've been hiding a lot lately," He mumbled, petting the giant pill bug with his free hand. At first, he was terrified when the thing dropped off his ceiling and onto his face while he was sleeping, but he was quickly growing fond of her ever since.

He smiled slightly when Zhori rubbed his head, telling her, "Yes, I'm fine. Robbins just... scared me a little. I have no clue how she got out of her cage."

Simon was in a surprisingly good mood, humming to himself as he set out cookbooks and an assortment of plates and silverware. As much as he wanted to attempt a chicken butchering lesson again, he didn't feel like wasting so much money, only to have the students sneak them out again. Especially when he already spent so much recently. He decided that a lesson on plating would be better, and probably more enjoyable for the students.

He just hoped that no horrible students would ruin his day again. He sat at his desk with a sigh and opened a drawer in his desk, looking down at the little gift he had gotten the other day. He had no clue how to give it to Zhori. He knew he couldn't just hand it over, but he didn't know how to be romantic either. His cheerful mood was quickly replaced by a headache as he tried to think of what he should do.

Sethrian arrived to Cooking, as usual, before everyone else. Except Mr. Sweet, of course. He actually looked substantially better than he had last time. Sethrian paused briefly at the door, noting the lack of carcasses or live animals or snails above the door. Somehow, walking into something that looked totally normal was even more frightening.

"I trust you're feeling better," he said, stepping into the class cautiously. He went to sit at one of the tables and wait for the other students. "What is the lesson plan for today?"

Renivere came into the classroom in a very good mood. There were flower petals stuck in her hair since she missed them. After all, she spent most of the weekend tending to flowers and she probably was flower tending in her sleep because when she woke up, her room was blooming with flowers everywhere and petals coated the floor completely. It was a mess and Renivere had a hard time getting herself out of the petals and the petals off her and it just proved to be so much fail.

But despite that flowery morning, Renivere still was happy the garden was bright and blooming due to her magical powers. It was her only asset and the only thing she could really feel at all confident about and be pleased to see. To be able to say 'I did this' and look upon a marvelously brought up place just put Renivere in a super happy mode that NOBODY could ever gloom doom.

Not to mention she liked cooking and it was time for cooking and Sethrian was in her class so Renivere's heart was about to burst with happiness and joy! With a stupid smile on her face she took her seat beside Sethrian. "Good morning, Sethrian and Professor Sweet!" Renivere greeted. "I hope the morning has been well, if not... then it isn't possible to save the day. I would gladly help in some way?"

Simon stiffened up and looked away from the drawer, noticing someone was in the classroom now. Ah, it was him. He frowned, wondering why he couldn't have been one of the ever-truant students. He seemed to always come to class without fail. ... But that wasn't really a bad thing, now that he thought about it. "Yes, thank you for your concern the other day," He sighed, still certain that it wasn't concern, but annoyance that caused him to shove him towards the infirmary.

"I'll explain when more people arrive," He told him, only to see Renivere enter right after. He had to smile when she greeted them, glad that one of his few tolerable students came to class to offset the feeling of dread whenever that horrible student was in the room. "Well, since it doesn't seem like anyone else is coming, I think we can begin," He said as he glanced at the door one more time, just in case late students would arrive.

"We are going to be working on plating today. Since you two are the only ones here, you can work together. Appearance is nearly as important as flavor, so if you ever plan on getting into fine dining, you have to know how to arrange plates and silverware, and make the food itself look attractive. I want both of you to prepare a dish and place everything properly. If you can't tell the difference between a salad fork and a dinner fork, or a water goblet and a red wine glass, that's fine. Guessing is okay, and I'll correct you afterwards. And, as always, if you need any help, just ask."

Once he was done explaining, he let out a long sigh, not used to actually teaching and lecturing. He already missed simply watching as students come in to see hanging corpses, but if he goofed off all the time, that horrible student would call him out again. He quickly pulled the pre-written lecture off the edge of his desk, crumpled it up, and tossed it into the trashcan, hoping neither of them saw it.

Sethrian was so shocked they were getting a real lesson that he didn't notice Simon throwing away the lesson plan. He just...had no idea what to think of this man. Every time he thought he had Simon figured out, the man did something that surprised him. He actually was capable of teaching a real lesson so why didn't he? When he actually taught them, his class was enjoyable. It was just that most of the time he was focusing on stupid pranks.

It was confusing.

Well then. He glanced at Renivere. "It looks like we'll be working together this class. What you would you like to make? Shall we go with something simple, or more complex?"

Oh yay! Renivere was excited about this lesson! She could make her meals look super fancy and then rather than going to a super fancy restaurant, she could just make something on her own! Although she was really glad that Sethrian and Professor Sweet weren't arguing with each other today. That was always a sign of a really good and wonderful day and if they decided to rage at each other, Renivere... Hmm... she wasn't quite sure what she would do, but she knew that she wouldn't have let anyone ruin her day and that meant anyone. Well, at least she didn't have to worry about it.

Completely oblivious that the teacher was going off on a script, Renivere decided it was time to get started and she turned to Sethrian who had asked her whether she wanted to keep it simple or make something complex. She had to think about it for a bit and then she finally decided. Although Renivere felt simplicity was best, she was going for complex! "Perhaps the complex would be of good order. The simple, we can do on our own, but the complex, we can make mistakes and learn from them all, is that not so?" Renivere suggested. "And I know a bit of the subject as I've---" Watched a lot of princess dramas and always noted the placement of the silverware and plates and she was always amused at how the lead always made a fool of herself. However, she couldn't say she learned it from dramas. She needed to come up with something more impressive. "...learned from watching others!" Oh lame, Renivere.

Simon was glad to see neither of them spotted him as he tossed out the scripted lecture, taking this moment of being ignored in favor of their conversation to quietly grab one of the wine glasses he had set out on a table. It was the middle of class, but hell, he deserved a reward for actually lecturing for once. Which he was never going to do again, because it was too nerve-wracking. Of course, he tried not to show that on the outside.

He unlocked his secret alcohol stash behind his desk and poured himself some wine as he silently listened in on their conversation... which he quickly tuned out when he realized he had no clue what the sweet girl was saying. He was pretty sure it had to do with the assignment though, and that was good. Such a good student, compared to him. He took a sip of his wine as he watched the two collaborate, actually glad that there were so few people in class this time. Less pressure was always good.

Ahh, the cooking classroom. It always had such different smells. Sometimes nice, other times, not so nice. Rose walked into what could possibly be her favourite class. She was good at cooking, and very much liked it. Of course Simon was there, Sethrian and Renivere where there too. Rose smiled lightly at them and managed to mumble a small but noticable "Hi". She made her way to her regular seat and waited.

Crap. They had started, Sethrian and Renivere were already doing something. Rose bit the bottom of her lip. "Sorry that I am late sir.. I lost tract of time" she said and looked at Simon, with a small look of worry.

Caroline lightly knocked on the door as she quietly entered the Cooking classroom. There weren't many people there.
"Good." she said and walked up to a table. She sat down on the chair and waited for the class to begin. She rested her chin on her hand and daydreamed about a silly princess story as she stared at a random object near her.

Nothing had happened in the Cooking Class and no teacher had come in either. Unhappy, Caroline decided to go somewhere else.
"I guess I should go off to my Physics class. Won't miss it if I go early."
she says with a shrug.
She gets off the chair and walks off to the Physics class.
