Hi!
I'm FlipperDesert. I haven't roleplayed in quite a while and when I did it wasn't on Gaia, but I've always wanted to try out text-based RP. I have about 5 years experience (I feel so old) and love anything futuristic, especially robots and cyberpunk/future noir. I look forward to getting to know you all...? sweatdrop

& oh cool! I'm not into the whole futuristic RP thing, but I've always wanted to do something based in the steampunk world. It all interests me so, but I have yet to take a gander at it xD haha.

hey everyone~
I'm homeopathic remedy! you can call me rem, remedy, or (my real nickname) vero! I've been roleplaying for seven years and I used to be really really serious about it. For the last two years I've been kind of on and off, not being able to find partners or not being satisfied with their skills. My skills, though sharp, have definitely degraded with disuse and I find myself having a hard time fluffing up posts/writing long posts with not much to write about. I've forgotten how to use parenthesis effectively in formal writing. There, I've said it; now I'll never admit it again.
I like fandom roleplays over original roleplays unless it's plot-heavy and isn't anything taboo. I HATE the stereotypical taboo roleplays- incest, teacherxstudent, etc and I refuse to roleplay with anyone under 17.
I'm into sci fi, lower fantasy, and sometimes vampires. I play both men and women, but mostly men because sometimes it's the only way to get an rp. I don't prefer either, but I'd like to play more girls...

Well, I want to play more girls, but I don't have a preference for them and I'm not more likely to choose to play a girl... Thanks for the welcome, and thank you for accepting me into the guild! My favorite fandom to play is Harry Potter (specifically the Marauder's Era, and excluding the epilogue) but otherwise I like Samurai Champloo, Death Note, His Dark Materials, Yotsuba&, and Artemis Fowl... I'm sure I'm missing a bunch but my memory is not what it used to be... How about you? edit: I forgot to put Bleach! (silly me)

I tend to lean more towards original stories/characters than fandoms, but I'm still interested in them. As far as which I'd enjoy, hard to say. Death note and bleach sound fun. I'd probably also enjoy things like naruto, gundam, smt, darker than black, zone of the enders, pokemon, any nasuverse setting, dot hack, dc or marvel universe, and who knows what else. I guess the point is I'm not picky. xp

Welcome, welcome! surprised I have to admit, I also favor original stories, but I'd do a fandom of 40k any day of the week. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be very popular around here... sweatdrop I didn't even know people did role-plays about incest. sweatdrop I don't get around much nowadays. Do you mostly do one-on-ones, then?

Salutations
Well my screen name is BloodyDeathAngelX but since that is quite a mouthful you can just call me Angel. I am twenty-five years old and I have been on Gaia for roughly six or seven years now through various accounts. I would like to consider myself a Literate role player. I respect and appreciate creativity as well as the ability to describe what your character looks like, the surroundings and what not. My preferred role plays are primarily Fantasy, Violence, Romance and Mystery.
My skills are mostly in description and giving an idea as to what the character is thinking and feeling.
My weaknesses are around the same area as my Strengths. I tend to get a bit carried away when describing and tend to jump topics. I've tried not to but it really depends on who I am partnered with. If my partner is fairly literate I am able to control it, if my partner is less than literate I tend not to care as much and thus I jump.
From what I have read so far with the rules and the topics this guild seems to have a very dedicated and friendly staff and I look forward to learning and helping in any way I can.
