"I'm gon' take a wil' guess an' say C.J. did that." he said with a smirk. "When dis is said an' done, remin' me t' kick his a**, then lend a hand, will ya?" he asked as he sucked on that toothpick. "I should probably be freakin' out fer havin' a talkin' cat around, but my girlfrien' has a cat de same way. Keep dis up, and I'll be worried when I see one that CAN'T!"

The cat chuckled at him. "Why I'd be happy to lend a hand. Though I'm not sure his new love interest would appreciate that one too much. What with her expecting and all..." CC said, grinning just a bit. And then he frowned a bit at the thought of the other talking cat. "Mmh. I suppose I should be happy that I'm not the only talking cat around....but with my experience with other magical talking cats....they're a pain in the tail."

((Enter Crystal from Las Vegas.))
Crystal zoomed on her bike towards the IO base. Until she saw a figure of a person and... a cat? She got close and skidded to a halt right next too Arell and took off her helmet to look him dead in the eyes. "Da f** is wrong with you lately?"

"She's WHAT?!? Well dat would explain why dey were in such a rush outta he- . . . uh oh." Arell growled. Crystal had tracked him down in the middle of the desert on his mission to take out IO!
"Aaaand s**t, meet fan! Start the jetpack, writer! Nothing to do here!!!"
C.J., wait for me!!
"Finish the post then."
Okay . . .
Arell paused when she stopped the bike in front of them. "Mainly I'm kinda fed up with y'all tryin' to tell me how to do my JOB. Now if'n ya don't mind, I have some IO goons t' gun down." he said . . . however, it'd be a little more difficult with just the guns he had on him . . .

Crystal stared at him and sighed. "Why dose it have to be guns and death? Why can't you just be the man I fell in love with instead of a scaley a** hole?"
She looked away and pulled her foot up, ready to drive away. "I thought you'd like to know that if you do go in there and kill people, don't bother coming back to me."

"Aaaand it's s**t like this that makes it no surprise Arell ten-to-one appears single in most incantations of this character. C'mon, Writer. Let's get outta here."
C.J. . . . shut up.

CC's tail stopped flicking, and he hid his head a bit behind Arell's hat as Crystal came up to them. He kind of wanted to hop down and let the two have their little talk. But...he hated getting sand in his fur. So.... yeah. Stay perched and watch.

"Because right now, I'm doing my JOB. You think I ENJOY having to do this?!" he asked, his voice raised slightly due to being so angry at these so-called "heroes" for letting this bullshit happen to begin with.
His worry for Dundee, who was going to get in over his head one day with this . . . especially if they attack again. If he can get down there and stop them, he could possibly end this conflict. It was HIM they wanted. HE killed Kane Rocknell. He shot down the guards on their way out . . . Kai knew this. That gets leaked to the "Boy Scout" heroes, and Crystal would probably be saying this same s**t over Arell's tombstone. Bounty Hunter and a Voodoo-cursed mercenary. I KNEW this would never work out. he thought.
He was ESPECIALLY furious at himself. How DARE he get close like this? His job was in no way shape or form safe for ANYONE! Not him, especially the guys he had to kill, ESPECIALLY not Crystal, and lord knows there were a few times he was
"Y'know, if I do go down there and get killed, you're gonna wind up regrettin' sayin' that for the last thing you ever say to me." he said in his low snarl. He looked down over at the base. Last time he was here, there were two Apache helicopters that took him out, not counting Threshold and the rest of those goons.
It was around this time though that Arell's cell phone went off. Because walking up the sand dune in the desert a few yards behind them . . . was Dundee, wheezing.
((Enter Dundee))
"-pant pant- Next time you wanna run off an' play hero . . . -pant wheeze- remind me to rent a car!" Dundee cracked as he made it up the hill.
"Sorry about hanging up on you, Crystal. Public places are NOT the best places to form a counter-plan . . . pla- either way, stop him." he said, pointing his thumb to Arell, who looked at Dundee . . . he looked like HELL!
"What is dis? 'Dis Is Your ********, Dysfunctional life About to be Made Worse?!?'" Arell growled . . . Why the HELL did I quit smoking . . . if there EVER was a need for a cigarette! he thought . . .
"Well, just so ya know, you do this, I'm not holding back the Bats when they come to kick your a**." Dundee said in return, wiping his forehead from the desert heat. "WHEW is it hot out here! Can the next paramilitary base we wind up coming across be in somewhere comfortable? Like . . . oh, I dunno . . . North Carolina? Get to still stay south, not too hot, not cold at all, close to water . . . which, by the way, Crystal . . . d'ya got a water bottle?" he asked, and then fell over, delerious with the heat from walking so far.

The black cat on Arell's head let out a stiffled snort of laughter, then quickly hopped off of the man's hat. He hit the ground, grunting as his paws hit the rough sand, then hoped over to Dundee. "I got this." CC said, moving over to the poor man's face.
The cat's tail flicked the ground, and several small cooling fans popped out of the sand around him. All with a bag of ice hanging from the bars with wire, all set on low, and all aimed away from the man's face. Blowing cold air, and sand over his clothes.

"Thanks, che'." Arell said to the cat . . . then looking again at the cooling fans that all happened to show up.
"Th-thanks. That's much better . . . save for the sand." Dundee said with a smirk, chilling in front of the cooling fans. He didn't wanna do a whole lot due to the whole moral debate going on. He reached over and pet CC.

He had heard what Helga had said, but he needed to be here to see what was happening. Well hear, which was just enough. Nat seemed alright, but the other Rachel, didn't. However, getting ready to follow him. He had to be careful, so he cleared his mind and allowed his body to do the rest. Taking off the moment, the door close and the shrieks begun again which would cause a lot of problems of the psych wave length due to there boiling emotions and most likely raging thoughts that came with the pain. Like a a gracefully spider, he moved through the vents. The only thing seemingly operating was his senses and body, his mind utterly quiet as if he was in a state of focus. The moment, he awoke from the trance like state of mind, he was in the medical area, the infirmary vents, where Nat was. In his radar like mind, he could see some of the features, since there hardly enough to confirm who she was, but there were enough.

Crystal glared at Arell. "Why don't you make it to where I won't /have/ to regret it." She had an attitude about her of being pissed off and hurt. "And you know I will regret it, badly. But I'm not going to be dating a cold blooded murderer."
She stared through the helmet. "You don't understand how things work here. What you're about to do, is a villainous act. If I wanted to date someone that went around killing every jay walker, I'd go find Azrael." The fur on her tail was standing on end.

The cat purred and rubbed against his hand. "Not a problem." he replied with a large, sharp little smile.

"Ugh..." Nathalia shook her head, sudden sense of being sore increasing rather alarmingly. Shouldering past the uniformed guards, she settled onto the bed beside Rachel and rested her head in her hands. A migraine was ensuing, the buzzing in her head becoming more of a wave of loud pings.

"I can assure you they're a LOT more villainous than Jaywalkers . . . and I doubt YOU do either." Arell growled calmly, slowly revealing the hand that had suspiciously been in his pocket, searching for what looked like a pack of cigarettes. As it turns out . . . he pulled out a broken shackle.
"Broke this off on th' way outta that godforsaken shithole. Also shot Kane in the head wit' a twelve gauge . . . TWICE. Don't believe me? Go in there an' see for yerself. Took his ********' jaw clean off . . . an' I'll do it again fer every last one of them, and you think I'm a cold-blooded murderer for doing my JOB?!? I'm a ******** MERCENARY!" Arell cursed, his body physically shaking with anger. A fang or two being seen.
Dundee from the ground saw it, petting the cat, he calmly got that bluetooth device ready.
"Kai . . . now would be a good time t' subdue the big guy before he turns bigger . . . and meaner. KnowhutImean?" Dundee asked.
