Jake could feel his heart dying within him. He could actually feel it slowly squeezing out its own essence until it felt dry, and then it began to crumble, to turn into dust. It felt so painful in fact that he couldn't find it in him to scream. Was this the deadly heart attack that had killed the Master?
No. It could not be. It was much worse than that. It was simply a broken heart at its worst stage. The feel of rejection was poisoning the fragile organ. It almost made the servant wish he could just be put out of his misery.

( -_-' Sorry, work and well, I had WC. I really look foreward to WC every year. )
Arc sat out on his balcony, the boy coming down from his slow high on the bed. The boy wouldn't learn. He took out his tablet and checked the companies progress.

(At least you didn't forget about the RP. :3)
Jake laid motionless, staring blankly at the ceiling. He could not move, and he felt so cold inside. Every time he breathed, he felt suffocated. His blue eyes had turned into a grayish color, and one would say he was dying. He kind of was, actually.

Arc swore under his breath and morphed quickly, he walked in and mounted the bed where he stood over the boy. Summoning his powers, he let out a sweet breath on Jake's face. 'Heaven forbid, the boy really is a idiot.' He remained there till he was sure that he was breathing normally. 'Dyeing isn't the way out.'

Jake flinched, gasped, and turned his head away. Shudders spread throughout his body. His pained heart was pounding, even though it was supposed to have stopped a long time ago. It was painful, and for quite a while it hurt even to breathe.
He was so confused. One moment, Arc was insulting Jake and ordering him around, and then the next he would act like he cared for the servant's well-being. Why was Arc even pretending to care? Had Jake known this was supposed to happen, he would never have run away. Heck, he would rather be whipped! At least he would know for sure that Arc hated him, and he would never be suffering like this!

Watching after him proved irritating, why couldn't his father opted for one of his sisters instead? He grasped the back of his shirt and picked Jake up who was shocked. Went to the balcony and took flight, Jake kicking and nearly screaming at the sudden air below him. He growled to silence him. He had no intention of hurting him.

At the unexpected absence of solid ground, Jake let out a cry of sheer terror. Tons of questions raced through the servant's mind and for a moment he feared for his life. What if he was dropped? Where did Arc plan to take him and why? There would have been more questions, but they, along with Jake's screams, had been chased away by Arc's growl.
All Jake could really do now was hope the wolf-shifter wasn't going to drop him.

Arc swooped over a small glade and dropped Jake into a small pond, he landed and watched Jake's face as he curled up on spot then went to sleep in the sun. He would let him play to his hearts content before going home.

After managing to calm himself down, Jake warily eyed Arc's sleeping form. It didn't look like the young master was planning to do anything, but the servant still couldn't help the distrust. Slowly, he began swimming in the small pond, though he stayed quite far from the surface.

The only time Arc got moved was when his sunny spot had moved. He was just restless and it was showing. He kept his back to the angel. He was to stubborn to listen to the boy swimming, he knew but payed no heed to it.

Every once in a while, Jake would look back to see if Arc had moved, which only happened once. Seeing that the master didn't seem to plan on waking up any time soon, the servant made his way to the other side of the pond. It was then that something dark in the water caught his attention. Curiosity took over and he began to swim towards it.
What he found was an opening, which he swam through. Before he knew it, he found himself out of the water and in a small cave. This could be a good hiding place if he needed it.

Arc knew that there was a little cave, hidden below the water. He had found this place as a child, if the Angel ever decided to run away, he can come here. Then he would know where to find him. But of course, to get here, you need to fly.

Thinking it over again, maybe there was no place he could go, after all. Arc was always able to find him, and the police were always watching for runaway servants.
But he couldn't stay there. Arc's false concern confused the servant immensely. He could never tell if the man was trying to trick him or if he was sincere. The very thought that he never cared was painful.

Arc wearily stood and stretched, looked around lazily and then chased after a doe nearby. He morphed and set up a campfire back at the glade, cooking the meat. The boy would surface soon if he was hungry.
