Calder sank a little when he heard about using force, and ducked down before slowly laying down in his cage. He didn't want to get hit and didn't want to have Barth get hurt any more than he had been. Still, he didn't want to spend his last moments being quiet. Oh, but how nice it was to lay down. His body still ached and just sitting up had been taxing.
"I'm very happy to have met you, Barth. I'm sure Christof and the others will come to us. The house helped us before. Maybe that ghost ghoul will come back." He hoped so. Right now, it was all he could do. If he was to have any future with Barth, he would have to hope.

Trying to calm Freya down was like trying to douse a fire with a bottle of wine. She glared wildly at Leon, and slammed her wings into the cage again.
"Gjør meg være stille, sønn du av en fattig esel gjeter!"

Barbaflsdfkh;asdfkdfasfd;l...
Cass seethed a bit, trying to lean around Jude to leer at the damn ghost-dog even as he put his hands on her shoulders, huffing, but seeming to renege to the boy's suggestion, hesitantly wrapping the weapon back around her waist so that it resealed into a chain.
She'd probably get in trouble for shooting the specimen too. Hadn't Caelius mentioned earlier that they were supposed to 'capture, not kill'. Apparently the 'kill' thing was important. However, if given the chance she would have killed Tybalt without a doubt about it.
Lightning Rod of Hate.
"Fine..fine..." she grit her teeth and took several deep breaths, seeming not entirely convinced of the backing off, but at least willing to comply with Jude, patting him on the arm before turning away from that particular cage to look at the others.

Tybalt didn't even bother to try and move back. How could he? The cage was already too damn small! Instead he just sat and waited---for the shot that apparently never came.
Ahh~ Thank Jack for the enemies friend!
Err...
But curse him at the same time too please!
"Yesss~ Listen to you're boil friend now like a good ghoul."

"Shut up, Fido," he hissed back toward the cage as he determinedly nudged Cass away from the cage.
Quietly he tried to lead her a bit away, "Just count to ten, you're giving them what they want. If they want you to shoot them then there is obviously a reason for it."
Probably to fill them full of guilt? Jude doubted it.

Cass shrugged. "Maybe he just wants one of those shoes to chew on..." she commented in a not-so-hushed (purposely so) whisper to Jude, making a point to not look back at Tybalt's cage. If he threw another one of those damned shiny objects at her again, she'd probably try to flip his cage.
While counting to ten as Jude had suggested. Not helpful, but she'd still be following his advice!
"Alright, alright..I'll...try to not fill them with holes." she reneged further, pouting.

Who the heck was Fido? He wondered curiously. Was someone they knew? Obviously these creatures were terrible with names.
Moving around to make himself more comfortable, his ears perked when he caught the ghoul's not so quiet whispering; once again rekindling his anger. Only this time he retaliate by throwing a seed. Instead, he chucked something larger and heavier at the back of her head.
His boot.
Yes, this was something worth sacrificing his boots for!

"Well too bad, he isn't getting one," he replied bluntly with a small smirk.
Counting to ten was nothing but a glorified distraction technique to keep her from going off the deep end so soon. Then he saw something flying toward the back of his teammate's head and it didn't look like it would be light or pleasant and thus he shoved at Cass a bit more urgently to get her out of the way only to end up taking a boot to the side of his face.
" ..Other than that he didn't give the creature the time of day.

Tika hadn't taken her eye off the couch the entire time. Even while hunters and students were exchanging insults, boots and looks. The mooshy romance stuff had even been ignored along with the zapping of some very determined students.
Nope, the orange couch had her full on attention. Tika had her hands on her hip and was literally staring the things down best she could.
"Yup. I don't trust ya." Was all she said.
Really. A couch. A COUCH.
Atti was none to happy with how much attention this couch was getting from his partner. But Tika was staring it down.
"Its like the evil version of that couch from Pee Wees play house. Just.. Dont trust it."

Oomph!
Cass stumbled a bit when Jude pushed her along with a bit more emphasis, turning to look at the boy with a slightly accusative face, just in time to see him take a boot to the face. The dog boy's boot to the face. She knew exactly what that was intended for.
"Oh god, are you okay?" she asked, touching at the side of the boy's face gingerly to look over the mark. She mouthed a silent 'thank you' to him, as to not give the dog-boy the satisfaction of actually hearing what she said outside of checking up on her comrade.

Tybalt 'tsked' when the boot intended for the ghoul smacked into the boil.
What a shame... At least it left a nice red mark on the boil's face. With just that he felt a little perky again! But... it looked as though he was going to have to get himself a new pair of boots later, and having already thrown some of the cash he had, that may be a while. Still, he was quite pleased that it hit someone hard enough to leave a mark.
In fact, it was enough to make him grin at the two.

Jude quite blatantly ignored the boot thrower's grin as he looked up at Cass and let her fuss over him because he was certain he wasn't going to get away without any fuss, "I'm fine, Cass. I mean I rather not have a boot mark on my face but anything for a teammate, right?"
He'd probably take a boot to the face for anyone on the Hunter crew but for the most part - right now he felt closest for Cass and thus had the least hesitation about it.
"Didn't clip you did he? Starting to think we should remove their footgear before they get put in, it is becoming a real bother," he grumbled quietly. He gave Cass a discrete thumbs up after she mouthed her thanks at him.

"No kidding! They're definitely using those as weapons to their advantage." she seemed to finish her fussing over the boy's face after a quick look over to see the damage done. "As long as you don't have a bruise for it." she laughed a bit. "I'd hate to see those things do any real damage to you or anybody else here."
Clearly, Jude and Cass were having awesome-bonding of BFFdom going down in this mission. But it was to be expected that a certain tight-knit behaviour would stem from looking out for each other.
"I'm surprised your weapon didn't have you covered for that." she added. "I'm fine. I think I'll have a small spot from where he got me earlier, but you definitely took that head-on...er..no pun intended." she laughed again at the bad joke.
Cass picked up the boot, hefting it in her hands carefully. "Well. At least he kept one to chew on, since he's not getting any other toys." she shrugged, but like Jude made a (very difficult) point of not glancing back at the offending cage. However, when Leon sudden-
Oh god.
"LEON. LEON. COUNT TO TEN. COUNT TO TEN!!" she blurted, as though that rule applied to her immediately also applied to the boxer.

"Then you keep that one to chew on. Since you're so keen on the idea of chewing on boots." He snorted and crossed his arms over his chest again.
He hoped it did bruise. Wouldn't that be funny!
But really? Boots? He did NOT chew on boots! Maybe if that boot was attached to someone's leg he could persuaded to, but until then, he refused to even consider it! Seriously! What a disgusting thought!
