The singing of course continued for the remained of the song. As too did his delightfully ridiculous dancing with Tomoko. There had been a point, when they'd first arrived, that he considered trying to play things cool by doing he best not to jive about like a fool, but all hope of that was now over. And really? What was the jacking point? Everyone was dancing around wildly and having a blast, he'd join in too. As the song finished the ghost pulled the little kitsune in closer, arms curling around her waist so he could pick her clear off the floor. "You my dear, are a splendid dance partner. Arigato Momo-chan." He kissed her forehead before setting her back on her feet, and eying Junko getting her groove on over by Nuk he gave the smaller ghoul a nudge in that direction. Arms free, the boil straightened, glancing back over towards the both as the songs continued to change, noting the swap of scree-jays from Caddy back to Ash, and he offered her another wave. Grinning before turning back to watch the rest of his peers burning up the dance floor. Noticing Bul more for the sudden and random glow then the flailing dance he was doing with Riley. He Howled at his friend, cracking up. "Get it, Bro!" Best. Night. Ever.

After the sausages fest was over, she took a napkin and started to wipe her mouth; those sausages might be rather tasty, but they were messy to eat! Her eyes, searching for something to focus on, landed on the 'couple' across the table. Seeing Tess and Mac interact was confusing - although the word 'confusing' was a term used loosely in her case. Realizing that she was sort of staring at them, she decided to quickly find herself a distraction...
... Well, the music had changed, and the dance floor cleared of the crazy dancers (Junko was adorable though); the next song was pretty good, and she found herself looking for a dance partner; Mot was still tired, Charlie looked deep in thought (or probably just say dreaming), Shun was a no-no...
"Mr Jericho!" She grinned, moving to the dragon's side and wrapping her arms around his shoulders from the back, since he was seated, before gesturing at the dance floor, "You owe me a dance~"

Ash approached the two boils, a gleam of intent in her eyes. She'd been trapped behind the DJ booth for a while now. No one would come over to talk to her. Her date was off doing something else. Cady was passed out pre-maturely from a sugar-rush. And then her new friend Ys had gotten lost in the crowd. Ash wanted to dance. She couldn't not dance. The music did something to her, it brought back a euphoric cloud of happiness that made her feel like it was something she must have done a lot when she had a heart-beat that could thump along with the heavy bass. Hands reached out as the music began to pick up. Oh and the hound looked like he was starting to get into the music! Jove, too! She wondered if she'd be able to dance with both of them at the same time. The banshee was closing in, nearly all the way up to them, her hands just inches away from grabbing at whatever she could catch of either of them when... ...Seiji saved their lives. Or in the case of Jove, who wasn't even as alive as an undead, his unlife. The wave was enough to catch her attention. Aislin stopped, looked up, the cloud of blond hair wafting about her face as she focused on who it was. A grin split across her expression and she waved back. Seiji. And he was alone. And this song was just the kind of music they had danced to back before they'd parted ways. " SEIJI!" She yelled his name at the top of her lungs before starting towards him, slow at first, and then bounding into a measured run. She reached him, grabbed his arm, and pulled. " Let's dance! Please! I haven't danced all night, I'm going to die again if I don't get to have some fun!" To hopefully further entice him she stepped back and began to dance with the music. Hands held out to either side, feet shuffling slightly as she began to move. It looked somewhere between the Charleston and club-dancing.

Had anyone really expected the marid and her date to be on time? Or hell, even fashionably late? No, it would have been a foolish thing to hope the couple would arrive in a timely manner. Perhaps Sharra alone, but the pair? Goodness no. Of course, though they were not, as it were, 'fashionably' late, they were still quite fashionable, and perhaps the level of formal splender was to blame for their delay in arriving. It would certainly make the perfect scape goat in any case. Hadiyya's dress was a drape of charcoal black held in place by countless aquarium blue beads. Bangles and stings of the glittering thing marking throat, wrists and ankles. A lovely contrast against the mocha tan of her skin. Among the blue and black were hints of gold. The thin ring in her lip glinting as full lips pursed in a happy smile. Curling horns and navel touched by hints of gilded spender. And beneath it all the ghoul's skin was alive with the intricate swirls and designs of dark lines. Henna covering more then not, and every careful teardrop, every curl, was perfect. With her hair pulled back in a high pony tail but other wise free, the ghoul was a vision from the tops of her horns to the tips of her shoes. Yes, shoes. Heels clicking down the tiled hall, the djinn gave the arm she was currently hanging on an excited squeeze, a brilliant smile turning up to him. Her race was not known for their energy, but the ghoul was damn near buzzing with eagerness as they neared the double doors and the pulsing beat of the music seeping past them. "Here we go, my love."

Smiling at Bul as he mentioned her name to Mei, she bowed to the doll ghoul. Pleasure ta meet'cha, Mei-Xiu! Levi may have butchered Mei's name a bit, trying to pronounce it with her hillbilly accent, but her intent was good.
Levi grinned widely when Jericho returned with a tray of drinks and immediately picked up a dark red smoothie of some sort with a parasol designed with mini die along the top. She took the top of the black straw between finger and thumb and sipped happily. Nothing could have been more refreshing to her at that time. She sat at the table enjoying her drink while watching the other ghouls (oh! Riley had joined them too!) snack at some sausages. For a moment, Levi saw a rather meek expression on Jericho's face, but she took it as him not wanting to really give away his meat. He was just being a gentleman again by allowing them to take his sausages. Well, atta boil.
The dancing had really picked up now too. She was glad to have something to watch besides the sausage eating (it made her hungry for tartar again) and kept sipping at her straw watching the dance floor.
She twitched an ear and swayed her tail along the floor in automatic reaction to the latest beat echoing into her body. This was when she overheard Lizzy offer to take Jericho out on the dance floor. Since Levi had danced with Mot without them both, she really wanted them to get a leg shaking as well. Yea! Git on out thar, Jericho! C'mon now! Wanna see whatcha got with this sorta tune!

"Oh, it's fine." Mac assured her, try to be nice despite how his mood plummeted. Glancing down at the boxes (or just the one that was thurst out to him), he breathed out a soft 'Ah' at her, taking the box while his attention caught for a moment by the dancers on the floor - OH JACK THAT LOOKED FUN HE WANTED TO DO THAT AAAA - but Tess had it again once she pulled something from the box she held on her own.
"Sure, I'll even stand really still for you." Mac chuckled softly, looking down at her and once again letting black eyes scour the lovely ghoul and her lovely attire; the blush was nice, he liked that, but he was trying to squash the knowledge that the blush was out of embarrassment for a certain Demoness he was a little, ah, unhappy with.
"You look stunning, Maritess." He thought it would be best to tell her that. Once the boutonniere was on, Mac opened the box he held, setting it...somwehere...and took Tess' hand again, this time to slip the coursage onto her pretty, pale wrist. Once that was done, he pat her hand, but didn't release his grip.
"Dance with me?"

Watching Jove sway side to said made Damien chuckle with sadistic glee, as he howled out "Whooo go Jove go, ghouls guard yourselves from the Jove swagger!" he all but yelled at the top of his lungs.
The plaintive look on the smaller boils face told the hound that he wanted out from the boogie down floor. NOW. in which the hound obliged by letting go of his paws. "Alright, alright, but you didn't move half bad out there bud." he encouraged him, hoping that the next time would no only be more fun for him, but he'd have the confidence to join in on his own.
"So, wheres your date so I can deliver you back unharmed?" he asked quietly under the loud bass of the speakers that was starting to become painful for his sensitive ears, that chose to stay close to his smoothed out hairstyle like a makeshift earmuff.

His name rang across the music in the shrill, ear splitting way only a banshee could manage and the boil actually flinched, turning wide eyes back over his shoulder towards the source of the call. "Ash!" He echoed back at her, looking for the moment a little perplexed before she started making her way towards him. By the time she was running the ghost boil felt oddly like a pathling stuck in head lights, frozen in place by nothing shy of impending Doo- Oh dancing! He chanced a flicker of a glance at the two she'd been advancing on before he'd caught her attention, chuckling softly at the two pups before scanning the dancing crowd for his ghoulfriend. She was still busting a move with Nuk and the others. This was a great song for the sort of dancing they used to do, and she did look a little abandoned. Dancing in place at arms length in front of him. "Alright alright." He offered his hand, and when her fingers touched his palm he pulled her in with a suddenly strong grip. Clawed hand already up to catch her other hand when it was offered out. The beat was quick, but the ghosts were quicker. "Let's show'em how it's done, Ash." He smirked, competitive streak rearing it's ugly head. If they were going to cut a rug, then why not slice it to ribbons while they were at it. He hadn't danced like this in years, but it was sort of like riding a bike. Once learned you never really forgot it, and after a few slower shuffles of his feet he had caught the beat and started kicking his heels, bouncing to the rhythm.

Despite having the demoness over recently to talk about all things prom and having noticed she wasn't acting completely like her usual self, Tess was unaware of the ire between Mac and Lizzy. She did, however, smile as he stayed still for her to pin the boutonniere onto his jacket. And as he slipped the corsage onto her wrist, the embarrassed blush that was for Lizzy's sake had turned into a shy one for her own. "Th-thank you, you sure I'm not a stunning mess?" she asked wryly, thinking the number her nanny-slash-minipet insisted she'd done on her. "But you look quite dashing and-" she blinked. "Dance with you?"
She remembered her dance with Sepheran during scarentines. How she'd practically froze from self-consciousness. But seeing how everyone else was enjoying themselves, she decided to brave it. "Sure, that sounds fun! And you don't have to worry about stepped-on toes, even!" she teased, her hand lightly gripping Mac's as they headed for the dance floor.

She couldn't resist giggling when Levi egged the red dragon on to dance; she seemed excited! Different from before... Perhaps the dance off with Mot helped her to loosen up for the night! Besides, prom was just beginning, and there is still a lot to do! She managed a grin and a thumbs up in Levi's direction, together with a "I'm glad you agree!"
The grin faltered soon, however.
Still draped around Jericho's shoulders, she noticed Mac and Tess headed for the dance floor, and her expression darkened slightly as she lowered her gaze, a hand moving to push her hat up a little, as if to distract herself from the sight. Her grip around Jericho's shoulders tightened and she rested her head on the arm around his shoulders, "Please, Mr Jericho."

Jove's ears flattened right down and he winced first as Demi shouted out some ridiculous things, and then again as Aislin shouted over the music, but at least Seiji had saved the two pups from further screeches at close range. With his hands free he could have booked it right back to the wall, but instead he lingered on the floor. Somehow they had gotten closer towards the middle of the dance floor, and it was hard for him to see over the masses of taller students...
His ears perked to hear the hellhound's softer question, but the only reply he gave in return was a confused head tilt. Date? He didn't have a date. That would be gross, weren't dates for kissing and snuggling and stuff like that?

"If you think you look like a mess now, I can't even imagine what you consider dressed up." Mac chuckled, shaking his head. He straightened at her compliment, grinning. "Thank you! I feel naked without my hat, though." Sighing in a 'que-sera-sera' manner, he happily led her onto the dance floor. "Haha, yeeeah, one less worry for me!" Of course he was going to agree with her! Out on the dance floor he gave a bow, and then jerked his thumb in the direction of the crazy dancers.
"So, how seriously do you want to dance?" Tess had every ounce of his attention; he was not going to look at Lizzy and Jericho, standing near them. Well, not right now at least.

Looking up as Lizzy came on by, Jericho stared as she insisted that he owed her a dance. The dragon really wasn't so certain that dancing right at this instance was all that great of an idea. However, both her and Levi were really egging him on to do this.
"Er.. uh... o-ok," he said while slowly getting up.
"Though does it have to be right this moment?" he asked with a weak chuckle.

Aislin threw back her head, blind hair trailing after her, and gave a laugh much different from usual - it remained un-blemished by her usual shrieks of glee. A melodious sound as she met Seiji step for step, her heels kicking up as she bounced, turned, twirled in step with him. He was a dance partner she trusted so when he put his hands on her waist to lift her or leaned down and pulled her arm so she could roll across his shoulders only to be grabbed and flipped around and landed back on her she flowed smoothly with them. It was as though they'd become an extension of each other, their movement fluid. " I've missed this!" She shouted happily over the music as they spun around again. She clung to him, her arms wrapping around his neck, moving to hold his clawed hand without a flinch as the other wrapped about his back, again shifting to hold against his shoulders as she was lifted up and then promptly tossed between his legs and back up again.

Barth noticed that Lilith was being civil to Calder and his date, and he appreciated that. He did not notice that she was being especially civil to Invictus, but he did silently agree with Christof's concerns. Not that he had grown to expect anything outside being used for cannon fodder in school and the occasional murder or devouring outside of it...that was how it was. The truth was that the students on that island (himself included) had been weak, and the only thing you could expect from someone stronger than you was to be useful, be out of the way, or to be put out of the way.
Barth knew that. He also knew he wasn't very useful, and he had no plans to be put out of the way. So he was a demon of secondary options. As for Calder, rubbing elbows might be the smart thing to do.
There was finally a slow song. It still registered as fast for Barth, his dancing speed was something out of a Zack Snotner film. He was about to ask Lilith if she cared to give this song a spin, when half the dance floor broke out into a fury of pumping, wiggling, and generally upping the tempo a thousand notches.
He decided, after a few more changes, that the song choice was not going to matter anyway.
"I'll have you know," he said to Lilith, "you are about to dance with one of the school's top dancing competitors. ...Well, second place. Toppish, is the important thing."
