Wha--OH s**t!
One minute he had been standing in front of the couch waving to Before, the next thing he knew, well there was a blur of motion, something collided with him, and next thing he knew he was flying OVER the back of the couch to land on the floor behind under the weight of a very excited Before.
Remember that thing he had said about decaf? Oh yeah.
"Before! What the hell happened? Did Bix make it? Bee is here, but some of the others have already gone through the door."
Why hadn't Before and Bix stayed together like he told them to? And why was he so happy to see Before even though it meant he was dead too?

Before is sorry, Thor! He truly is. But it is hard to put the breaks on when you only had socks that provided little to no traction. Stupid booterangs. Why'd they have to turn on their maker? >C Okay maybe not their maker but wearer. ******** it didn't sound the same. He scrambled off Thor, because really chattering and wild gesticulations are better done when not on top of someone.
"When you bit the dust, Cheese did too, and and and everyone started killing each other! But Bix got two more blue pendants! One from Evil and the other from Done thanks to Cheese's commands! And then Harmless came to join us with her blue pendants so we had five but I made them go on without me because I'm a Bad Person and didn't deserve to make it," ;A; he babbled at a ridiculously high speed (yes, he was all better, most definitely) "And then Door and Tonight asked me to help them and I maybe kinda shoulda helped Done after the beat down we gave her, but at that point I couldn't see s**t because stupid gas mask got spattered with blood from the inside (Door can really pack a punch). And things were all fuzzy and just colors and shapes and there was more fighting and dying and I HAD BOOTERANGS ALL ALONG!!!"
How the ******** hasn't he passed out from lack of air yet? Oh, right, he was dead. Apologies again, Thor.

Oh god, it was like trying to listen to a five year old on crack a sugar high.
"Whoa whoa, slow down, Bix made it out okay? Why didn't you go with him?"
Thank you god, or whatever deity there was out there wherever (if there was one), at least one of them made it out alive. And yet, there was that nagging voice at the back of his mind, the one that told him the worst may have been yet to come, the voice that questioned whether surviving was actually a good thing in this place. Amazing he had never thought of these things when he was still alive.
Thor was trying very hard to understand what Before was telling him, but between the speed of his words and the names he had never heard, it was proving a very difficult task. Done...was that..hmm...D..one? Must have been Delta one.
"Bee is right over--"
Wait a minute. He had been about to point to the couch where Bee had been sitting when Before's last words stopped him cold.
"Booterangs?"
What the hell was a booterang? Oh Before, how adorable you are in your oddities.

Before tilted his head, thinking it was obvious why he hadn't gone with Bix, "I got in pretty bad shape before we could get to the Gym Doors. I'd only slow him down. Plus, I don't think Harmless was willing to give up her pendant. Even for a fellow Beta," He added lamely, scratching the back of his helmet-clad head.
Before was ready to crane his neck towards whatever direction Thor was about to point to when he was (according to his logic) asked to elaborate on the magical attributes of his gear. "Yeah! Booterangs!" He then gestured to his feet, wiggling his toes through the blue socks, "So get this, I'm practically blind, snot and tears and blood on my goggles, Door says help me hit someone, or she alluded to it, I'M NOT SURE! Anyway, my arms are all weak... weaker, can barely stand, so I'm on the gym floor and I somehow manage to wriggle and KICK-" he repeats the action as he says the word "-my boot off. So I'm thinking bye-bye to that boot yeah? And then..."he pauses a solemn pause, "It. Comes. Back. Lands super near my face too!" He nodded.
Yeah, Before clearly had no idea Delta Four had been chucking his boots back at him. :<

Look out! Thor was quick to side step, dodging away from Before's swinging foot lest it collide with him. Not that it would have mattered if it had, they were dead right? Still that didn't mean he wanted to be kicked, or that his instincts wouldn't stop him from being so.
"Are you sure that--"
Thor stopped short of finishing the sentence, that someone wasn't throwing them back at you?, he just couldn't do it. Whether he didn't have the heart to say it, or simply knew how useless it was to tell Before what he believed to be true was incorrect, Thor could only shake his head and smile under his mask.
"That's...quite an amazing tale. Good job."

E-12 had signed her name and waited for what was to come next. She had expected something like the bright flash of light that’d transported her and her teammates to the giant Minesweeper board. She wasn’t expecting what came next.
There was an intense sensation of squishing, squeezing and twisting. Somehow E-12 knew it should hurt. She knew she should be feeling an agony more intense than anything she’d ever experienced before, but when she opened her mouth to scream, nothing came out.

Bee had been busy contemplating the door when Before showed up and it wasn't until he'd gotten halfway through his tale that she recognized his voice. She supposed the whole bootarang bit explained why he'd showed up in purgatory in socks.
Still she couldn't help but chuckle a little as she made her way over - good old Before, it was a shame that he had died - she'd been hoping that he'd make it out with Bix but she was glad to see him anyways. "Before!" She greeted him with a big hug "I'm glad that Bix made it out - sorry that you didn't though"

Through the musical numbers and E-10's quick exit (nothing to do about it now), the thing that really caught E-13's attention was the bulletin board. Name signed, he waited with the rest of his dead colleagues.
There hadn't been a warning about side effects, but he assumed the intense, searing, twisting pain was normal.

Fiver was a bit startled that Three agreed so easily to his suggestion, but his own fingers grasped the other's in an eager sort of fashion. Though he would never admit it anyone, he was a bit ... frightened of what might lay beyond that door. It was the unknown, and that was always something ... of a scary thing to contemplate. He didn't know what was lurking in the darkness beyond. Life, death, memories ... good or bad ... including the two with him now, or not. He wished that he could have remembered before this final journey, so the three of them could share details about one another. He wished that they could have lived longer here, so they could make more memories to share, even if the ones past the door showed him that they had never known each other before now. It would have been nice... And he almost hesitated, told Three to stop, pulled him back. But no, that wouldn't be fair. They had agreed to go together ... they had to go. Had to end this. Summoning up a smile for the two of them - though maybe it was more for himself since they couldn't see it - Fiver squeezed Three's hand and moved toward the door after him. "See you on the other side, guys," he murmured, shutting his own eyes as his foot passed the threshold. (( A5 is concluded, solo here! ))

Watching everything that was going on, he looked over at Fiver, and then back to the door. Not replying, he looked to that blackness, that inviting pull, feeling his heart tug. It was time for him. He needed to know....who he'd been....what had happened to him, and why he was here. Gamma Eleven didn't want to be Spock. He wanted to be...whoever he'd been before now. Taking three steps forwards, his eyes closed behind the mask. Gods....how could he even do this. Finding his legs.....Eleven kept moving
Forwards..his body unconsciously carried him forwards to that darkness. And as it recieved him, he began to remember....

Once she'd made sure her name was on the board, she'd stepped back. Let others have a look and all.
A chance to live again? She still wasn't sure if she wanted it, but if she could help the others out, then it would be worth it. It was a chance to try again, and she did want that. Maybe this time she wouldn't be so weak? Maybe...
A strange sensation came over her...as though she were being pulled some where. It hurt, much like when she'd been squished by the room. Had she just signed up for this?! Please don't let it be another room...

((Eta VII entering from Test Thread))When Eta VII finally found herself aware again, she was in a... lounge? Last thing she remembered was the burning sensation of the energy in the room, after whoever had the damned command pendant connected to hers had ordered her to give her own pendant away. AGAIN. So she hadn't a clue how she had gotten here. After all, hadn't she... died? Maybe not? As she started to look around, and spotted the people who had been responsible for ending hers and Delta I's chances of getting out of there alive, she suddenly felt rage welling up inside her. You killed the friendly Theta III who wanted to help us get out. It was because of you that Delta I died, and that... that I died. HOW DARE YOU. Without thinking she found herself already halfway across the distance to Theta IV, Beta III, and Beta IV, no more interest in who else might be in the room. The only thing that caused her to slow even slightly was the difficult decision of which of them to slug first. Well, okay, not Beta IV. He was clearly an idiot, she didn't blame him (much) (probably only enough to want to black his eye, not enough to want to beat him to a pulp). But between the other two? One responsible for her one friend's death, and the other for her own? At the last moment she directed herself at Theta IV, Delta I's death the greater sin in her eyes. She was on him like a wildcat, making every attempt possible to tear him to shreds, even as much smaller as she was. The closest he had to a warning was her furious, "You b*****d," as she hit him with everything she had. ((Also, apologies in advance, I'm going to be on planes off and on all day. I'll get on to reply if I can. Also also, she's pretty small and not all that strong. She is, however, full of murderous RAEG. Not sure if there's anything she can actually do to him here, though.))

What the effing hell?!
Having been otherwise occupied with Before and Bee (though the reunion was bittersweet), Thor had neither noticed or cared at that moment who else had entered the room. That was until suddenly there was an angry girl on top of him. Did she really think she could hurt him in here? He wad dead!
"Get the hell off me! What the hell is your problem!?"
His eyes narrowed, glaring at the girl as he roughly pushed her away from him, unflinching at whatever blows she managed to land. Eta-8, he remembered that number from the gym.
"In case you hadn't noticed, we're all dead here!"

She was dead. She was really and truly dead. For real. For this reason alone Delta Nine kept her eyes closed for a long, long time. Long moments stretched out as she replayed her last moments in her mind. They weren't moments that she was proud of. No, she'd actually killed someone by forcing them to remove their pendant. Delta Nine really didn't think she'd had that in her.
What would she see when she opened her eyes? Delta Nine wasn't sure. Slowly she opened her eyes, jaw slipping open in disbelief.
A lounge? Oh, for Christ's sake. That was the first thing she noticed. The second thing was the large door that seemed to pull at her. The third thing was ... oh s**t, was that the person she'd ordered to remove the pendant from around their neck? Haha, yeah. It was. Well, that sucked.
She didn't see Theta Seven, which meant that he might still be alive. That soothed her frazzled nerves slightly.

Bee had to blink slightly as an angry girl came fling out of nowhere to attack Thor...and then...well she had to laugh. Not at the girl in particular..or the way she had tried to beat on Thor..but in the situation in general. They were all dead and they had all done horrible things before they wound up here - she highly doubted this furious girl was any better or worse then the rest of them and in a fight or die situation she didn't think there was much room for rock throwing afterwards.
Still...if she didn't laugh then she might just cry a she considered everything that had happened on the island and since she really didn't want to cry in front of all these people then she laughed...and laughed...and laughed until she did cry and had to wipe her eyes and compose herself "Look - whoever you are" she addressed the rage filled girl "Yeah we did awful things...it sucks but the island didn't give us much of a choice now did it? So get over it"
