Now the unicorns were singing along to the song, in unnaturally perfect timing and harmony. It was impossible to escape it. Hell, it was getting a tiny bit difficult to hear anything else above it.
Princess Sparklehorn Smilebringer had a breathtakingly beautiful soprano, though.

Leto was absolutely killing herself laughing at Ares' unicorn singing louder and prouder than every other unicorn. She clung to her own unicorn and quietly hummed the song as they dashed through ice star after ice star, each star bursting their speed.

Ares gave Leto a look that positively said, At training tomorrow, you will be running suicides the entire time. Congratulations. She otherwise tried to pretend that her unicorn wasn't singing.
Well... at least her unicorn was the best at it.

The rainbow steed's speed seem to increase with the destruction of each obstacle. A quickened pace led the sprinting towards the mystical island nearby. As the unicorn raced towards the island,Boreas tried to keep his eye on the ball and encourage the unicorn to do it's best. However, he couldn't help, but to laugh at the crazy antics of the other unicorns and their riders. While he didn't like to poke fun at another senshi, her unicorn's singing was a little too much for him and burst out into laughter. For the first few seconds, he was sure he was going to fall off his unicorn, but thankfully, he was able to maintain his footing long enough for the laughter to subside. Speaking in a low voice to his own magical steed.
"I'm glad you aren't as crazy as the others, buddy. Now let's claim this place while everyone is distracted!"
Giving his unicorn an encouraging pat on the head, Boreas hoped to give him the drive to go faster while the others were preoccupied. Though he wasn't above crossing his fingers and toes to help seal the deal.

Was Geoff singing? Of course Geoff was singing, loud and proud. And sadly, so was Sheldon, albeit not as enthusiastically and loudly as the unicorns. But he was singing, it was hard not to.
Damn that catchy tune.

Maia was could not help but to laugh at Ares, but the look she gave Leto made her stop momentarily. Momentarily, meant for about five seconds before she was laughing at Ares and Leto. She normally would not have laughed at such a thing, but this zone made everyone act strangely especially Ares.
Maia looked forward and started singing the tune with her horse and the other horse. She loved to sing and all the horses were singing and some of the racers, so why not.

Leto frowned, completely understanding that look. The one that meant you are in trouble and running suicides is your punishment. Son of a b***h.
And then she caught Maia laughing at herself and Ares. And immediately that made her grin from ear to ear and burst out laughing again. Something about this place made her feel ridiculously light hearted and as if suicides weren't so bad afterall. >>"

Maia guided her horse over to Leto's, but never stopped the horse from going forward. Leto was laughing and Maia grinned raising her hand up, as if to give the girl a high five. "We are getting so close. Go senshi," she shouted!

Serandite was stiiiiilllllllll having the time of her life. The absolute best time of her life with her unicorn who was veering left and right in their race. Apparently, Serandite's unicorn couldn't understand the definition of a "straight" path.

Sailor Chibi Hypnos had given Mister Birdy a little rub on his head after they had successfully slid down the ice cavern. He was such a brave bird, he even seemed to enjoy it... just a little! She looked around, and thought she had almost seen Cora. No, she couldn't have. All she could see was penguins. There was a specially hot-pink penguin floating with love that caught her attention. She could have sworn it said her name. However, she didn't seen anyone and the penguin didn't make any familiar noises after that so the small senshi quickly moved on. She couldn't sit there, she had to run!
She managed to run past all the stalagmites, even if a bit worn after it. She seemed to be falling behind everyone. It was probably due to the friction between her slippers and the ice floor, or lack thereof, but she couldn't blame them. They tried their best. At least she had kept Mister Birdy safe, or she had, right? She checked, and smiled to find the rainbow quail still on her shoulder. Oh, he was so cute! She was so excited that he was okay, so excited she just had to go faster!
She seemed to slid faster and faster until finally without much warning the child and rainbow quail on her shoulder flew off a final ramp and were sent into a free-fall. She closed her eyes tight, held onto her two companions and wished. She wished hard. She wished she could find her friend. She wished she could find Gwenliana. Her wish made, the child looked around as if she'd suddenly find Gwenliana falling from the sky once again. She looked to the sky and found... her eyes went wide. There were stars falling from the sky! White ones! They looked like they were ice. Hope filled the child's heart as she tried to catch one. It took a few attempts, but the child was gloriously beaming when she successfully managed to. She smiled and looked to Mister Birdy.
"I caught one!"
She examined it, whispering soft words to it in hopes that she'd hear Gwenliana's voice. Nothing. At least, nothing the child had expected. It started to make a noise, and change it's shape. The glimmer of hope in the child's heart prayed that Gwenliana would appear from it, but nothing of the likes seemed to be favouring the child. Instead, a horse formed. Then the horse formed a horn. Upon further examination the child realized the horse had a rainbow mane and then before the child could figure out anything else she let out a small cry.
"I'm on a horse!" She said to Rainbow Mister Birdy.
Okay, so it wasn't quite a horse but to the child it was the same thing. It just was a horny horse.
The unicorn moved rather fast, and the small child tried to hold on tight as she looked up at the sky above. There seemed to be more shooting stars, and they were coming down rather fast! They didn't turn into horses like the others did, and instead they turned into ice sculptures. The small senshi tried to examine them, to see if any of them were Gwenliana. None of them were and although she was disappointed she was thankful none of them were when the horses began smashing through them without fear. The horse seemed to go faster, and soon the child believed too. They'd get to the last island, she'd find Gwenliana there. She just had to! It was the only place left!
Then the child seen it, the sky was beginning to brighten. She had been here before when this happened. The dawn would come, and the game would be over. She had to get to the island before that happened! She had to find her friend. She just had to!
"Mister Birdy, the dawn is coming." She was so happy she was at least able to find him safe and sound, even if she had not been able to find Gwenliana yet. She smiled softly as she looked over her shoulder to find him there. "I'm so glad you are safe. I'll find you again. I promise we'll see each other again." She was prepared, this time she would not leave Mister Birdy in tears. This would not be the last time she would see him. She would see him again, no matter what. Even if it took a thousand dreams... she would find him again.

As Maia approached, Leto turned her head to look at her and raised her hand to give her fellow cadet a high five. While she was still unsure of this whole being-a-senshi thing, she couldn't have asked for a better team to have while dealing with it. The BMC was ******** amazing, including their hardass leader who refused to sing the catchy song- Leto loved every last one of them! Especially here. This place made her ******** love everyone- well, everyone but the Negaverse.
She looked forward again, catching a glimpse of the finish line. "WOOHOO! GO SENSHI!" She cheered with her teammate.

That was thankfully all Scheelite had to say as he raced towards the end. Thankfully. He could, afterall, still be singing.

Mister Birdy peeped, rubbing his head against Hypnos' cheek. He would be fine, no tears, no disappearing this time. Just a crazy race through this hellish (to him at least) rainbow land with the dawn soon approaching.
"I'll be here when you come back, don't worry, you'll be able to find me."

Gianfar definitely wouldn't mind being able to come back to this place; it was a lot more fun than that blasted volcano. See what I did there? Blasted? Volcano? Shut up, that was funny. Because of this it felt like he was even more determined than usual to help his side win. The senshi needed this place! It was pretty amazing. What threw him off was his shadow was suddenly changing, and parts of things ahead of him seemed slightly brighter. But why? He looked back and gasped, turning back around quickly. This is why you never look back!
He gave his unicorn a pat on the neck. "We need to go faster. Can we do that?" The unicorn gave a whinnying laugh.
"I already told you! Anything's possible with THE POWER OF LOOOOOOVE~!" Gianfar chuckled and held tighter to his unicorn, not wanting to be thrown off as the unicorn ran faster.

Scylla did not laugh at Ares. Scylla kept an iron face, that said her Captain's singing unicorn was positively fierce, but the wink she sent to Leto said the other senshi probably would not be running suicides alone-- as long as Scylla's rib wasn't broken. She leaned in, over her unicorn's neck, just like she would if it were her Lady Luck, and she was racing the Hanoverian through the pasture. "Come on." she murmured to the magical creature. "We can do this!"
