"I was sure someone had been kicked in the face by a horse.. Meh bad. But gee, I really don't wanna make her mad..." Lunea looked at the door "she" had exited through. Lunea flicked her tail around her and hugged it, more of a a nervous habit than any other kind of gesture.

James sat up, "Well, she is a martial artist..." he said, "But, I'm probably wasting your time..." he said. "Sorry for scaring you."

"If that's the way you think, than I have time to waste" She said with a kind smile, "though I highly doubt your a waste of anyone's time." She ended with a sharp nod of the head, suggesting that he had no say in whether or not he was a waste of time.

Lunea blushed "Oh. um, I came looking for a job in the kitchen. Everyone I know says I'm a good cook. So when I saw the broucher for the hotel I thought it'd be a great way to further my talent and earn money. So anyways, I saw the date the broucher was released and ran here hoping they were still hiring. I got to the front desk and a man walked up to me and gave me half a milion dollars! He said I can still live here but I don't need to work here... Hmm.." She looked lost in thought at this point...

James laughed, "That's Shadow." he gestured to the one who ran into the hall to comfort Shayla earlier, "He's like... beyond rich."
James rubbed his snout again, "The one who punched me is Shayla... she's usually a lot more friendly. And Crystal is my... uh... niece." he said.

"Oh.. Gee.. He must be bloody rich. And Shayla? She seemed realy upset when I saw her earlier. I spoke with her in the hall, she looked like she was gonna cry.. She was real upset.. Like I told her, with family, it's easier to do what you can to make everyone happy, and in the process hopefully also making your self happy..."

James nodded, "Yeah, Shayla and Shadow are married, so she kinda got upset when Shadow took my side... I guess." he patted her on the shoulder. "So, when can I get some food?" he asked, part joking, and part just wanting to change the subject.
