Meiko squealed to herself in silence as she gazed upon the magnificent creature. "Now that's what I call majestic ~" she said to herself with a huge grin, opening her text book to read some things about unicorns.

Cloud gazed at the unicorn happily. She had seen them in the forest before, but they were never this close to her. A thought struck her mind that it might not like her too much, considering Cloud wasn't the most positive of creatures. Unicorns were one of the most pure beings she could think of. Cloud hesitantly took a step back.

There was a sudden feeling of happiness within Ginelle, and she didn't like it. Maybe it had to do with the fact that she had never seen a unicorn before, or rather, ever thought they were real. She took a few steps back with cloud and sighed. It was really sad, actually. Ginelle decided that there would be no way for her to actually get close without crying. "Professor, could you tell us about the unicorn, please? I mean, I've heard like... rumors in the muggle world, but, I'm sure most of them are wrong..." Although, as Ginelle looked at all the girls faces, she was actually beginning to think that the muggle world wasn't so stupid. "What conveinences can the unicorn bring?" she asked, still too afriad to get too close.

 Kalle watched the reactions of the students. She saw a few watery eyes, as well as a few frightened ones. She knit her brow. How could someone be terrified of such a magnificent and harmless creature? She turned at the sound of Ginny's voice. 'Why, of course I will tell you all about unicorns Ginny! That is, after all, my job.' She smiled before speaking again, this time addressing the entire class. 'The only convenience a unicorn can bring to the wizarding world is its hair. The hair of a unicorn can also be used in place of rope in almost any situation, as it is incredibly strong. However, the most common use of unicorn hair is to create the core of a wand. In fact, I am sure some students here have unicorn hair wands.'

Ginelle nodded. She was glad the professor explained that to her. Now that she thought about it, her wand was made out of unicorn hair as the interior. That was the wand that 'picked her' from the beginning. "Thank you, Professor." She watched the unicorn with awe, but agian, was too afraid to get too close. It was frightening to her to see something she had always been told was fake.

Alex smiled as she saw the unicorn she then turned her head towards the teacher "mines a dragon heartstring, so no unicorn hair for me" Alex said smirking

Ravenclaw, second year... My wand is willow and unicorn hair.::Sabrina decided to contribute to the discussion of various wand cores, especially since her own wand was comprised of the hair of the species standing in front of her. However, she noticed something odd about the professor's assessment of the usefulness of unicorns. The girl didn't want to seem arrogant, but she thought it might be important to bring up what she was thinking.::Um, professor? You mentioned that the only real usefulness that unicorns have to the wizarding world is the collection of their hair, but can't unicorn horns also be used as an ingredient in several potions?...Where those of wit and learning will always find their kind.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra gazed at the unicorn with a vacant expression. She had seen one very similar to it in the Forbidden Forest when she was it there for the first task of the Triwizard. It had not been a joyous time but if she had the chance she would do it again in a heart beat. "Its very beautiful... Its core properties must make wand movements very fluid. My core is Dragon Heartstring, though sometimes I do wish for a bit of elegance." she said sadly. Aludra got out a spare piece of parchment and began to jot some notes down. ...7th Year Slytherin

Heart scribbles some notes down, hoping she got everything. Upon thinking, she stumbles upon some ideas she was never clear on. Raising her hand, the student asks, "Professor, I think I read this somewhere, but I think unicorn hair can also be used in potions and if needed, the binding of bandages because of its strength...perhaps it also has healing properties?"
