Sara nodded, "Well, back to work." She said, stepping back to her desk, setting her bat next to her chair and returning to files.
Eileina smiled, "Well, I'm very glad of that."
Edward smirked, "Oh please, those pieces of junk are a dime a dozen." He said waving his arm dismissively.
The man rolled his eyes, "No Kysha. Piece of advice, stay out of Lorenzo's way. He's one of the heavy hitters around this town, and he's on our side. If p***y Cat DID land in that alley and stay there? He'll take care of it."

Sheila smiled and retook her seat.

Sara smiled and reached into her duffel bag, right next to the desk, and pulled out her old four-barreled pistol. She winked at Tara and put it in a desk drawer. "I'm covered."

Tara chuckled, "Alright, don't forget to shout if you need help with anything." she said as she went back to the robotic body they had killed, wondering just what to do with it.

Edward shrugged, "Consider them your weapon, keep them, none of them are mine after all. I'd bet you at least a few of them have weapons of some sort in their house that they'd be happy to give you."
The man shook his head helplessly, "You're in no shape to do ANYTHING tight now Kysha, leave it be. You can get patched up and go after her tonight." He said, starting to drive again, away from the alleyway.

Edward waved a hand and the ropes that bound the mind slaves snaked away, but surrounded the secretary, in case the slaves tried to follow their previous orders again.

"you don't get it, I've been waiting years trying to get her, and the one night I finally get her pinned, some a*****e gets in the way and stops me" Kysha said as she continued trying to get up "I can't let this opportunity pass by..."

Dustin gave a smile "your a complex one willing to use people as tools but willing to protect one woman" he said as he watched the slaves try to get at the woman "stop!" he called and they stopped in place

The secretary had just been about to reach for a Mac-10 submachine gun she had under her desk at the continued attacks of the followers.

"And if you go back there now you'll die." The man said to Kysha, "You've got broken bones, cuts and bruises aplenty, and you can barely sit up."

"You've worked for me how long, and you still haven't figured out that I don't quit until I catch her" Kysha asked with a chuckle "if it were anyone else...I'd let the cops have them...but she...I can't let her keep getting away..."

"well lets hope we don't run into each other again" he walked away from him and when he past the secretary he smiled and said "thank you for your help miss" as he walked out he yelled "Follow" to the slaves
