"The shadows are my friends,"
"The shadows are my home,"
"The shadows is your end." Altair Lovett Altair saw Keiko running and ran after her, he got infront of her he removed his own mask, exposing the scar left by his master on the left side of his mouth. "Please.. Do'nt run.. I.. I understand your pain... " He said and he took a glove off, exposing what looked like many many scars from burns, lashes, and cuts. "A small taste of what i suffered during my training..." He said looking at his hand then looking at her, his voice somber with remembrance. He was also prepared to grab her should she try to run past. My cold blade shall be the last thing you will feel.. Enjoy it while you still live.

Keiko stopped, looking at them both. She didn't know what to say, the logic in her thoughts and words escaped her so she was left to stand perplexed in front of them. The male was as badly scarred, physically, as she was and the female confessed of scars that were less obvious, perhaps emotional. Had she truely found a place she could belong?

"The shadows are my friends,"
"The shadows are my home,"
"The shadows is your end." Altair Lovett Altair watched as she stopped. He knew that she could understand. He stepped closer to her slowly, taking small steps. He looked at the glove, then his scarred hand and then at her. He dropped the glove and held his bare hand out for her, indicating for her to grab it. "Keiko... You are somewhere where you will not be hated anymore... We understand your pain..." he said and he looked into her eyes, and he felt something he had never felt before, something like a warm feeling in his gut that spread out. "I understand your pain... I know how your feeling... Lost, like you have no where to go, no place where you belong... I know..." He said softly, trying to comfort her. My cold blade shall be the last thing you will feel.. Enjoy it while you still live.

Keiko's eyes filled with tears, shocking even herself. She glanced down at the hand offered to her, spying the scars that refelected her own. Hesitating, she removed her own glove and placed her hand in his, as their skins touched her heart skipped a beat, making her glance up at Altair before turning her attention to Melinda. "I apologize." She said simply, feeling terrible about over reacting.

There's a place downtown, Where the freaks all come around. It's a hole in the wall. It's a dirty free for all. Ϻϵʃɩɴ∂ɑ WʀɩɡɧʈMelinda averted her eyes from the two as she noticed their scars. She rubbed her wrists as if she had just had shackles taken off them. She did this whenever she thought about how she had been kept as a child in the other circus. She had chains on whenever she was alone for a period of time so she could not run away. Then as she grew older, they had chained her for other reasons as well.
"No apology is necessary. Everyone comes with a past, be it good or bad," she said as she let the earth she had taken control of rest on the ground just before stepping off of it. There's a place I know If you're looking for a show. Where they go hardcore And there's glitter on the floor.

For the first time in her life, Keiko smiled. She couldn't remember being happy for a while, maybe as a child, when she was naive, but many years had passed since then, any memory of happiness had been replaced with brutal training. "It was wrong of me to over-react." Seeing how the scars made Melinda react, she pulled her hand back and replaced the glove. "Sorry, I know their disturbing. . ."

"It seems as if it's my turn to apologize," she said, snapping back to herself. She shook her hands a few times, as if to fling off the memories from her fingertips. "You don't need to cover your scars," she said to Keiko. There's a place I know If you're looking for a show. Where they go hardcore And there's glitter on the floor.

"The shadows are my friends,"
"The shadows are my home,"
"The shadows is your end." Altair Lovett Altair felt her hand touch his and felt something akin to lightning running through his body. His skin was unnaturally cold and he felt that her pulling away was because of that. He watched as Keiko recovered her scars. He looked at Melinda then at his hand. He clenched his fingers and he watched as the scars stretched and relaxed. "Melinda... Sometimes we have to hide our scars so others will accept us... If anyone were to see any of the other mementos i carry, you would never be able to look at me..." He said. But he enjoyed Keikos touch. It sparked that warm feeling in his chest again, and it grew. He smiled slightly. My cold blade shall be the last thing you will feel.. Enjoy it while you still live.

"Sometimes, ma'am, it's rude not to. And other times it's for my own self-conciousness that I hide them. . . any reflective surface I pass is another remind of my past. Ponds, puddles, metal. . . It's a reminder of my mistakes and the thing I have become." She informed Melinda kindly. "So I not only cover them for other's benefits but my own as well."

"The shadows are my friends,"
"The shadows are my home,"
"The shadows is your end." Altair Lovett Altair looked at her as she said this. He felt the same way about his scars, hating them for what they made him into. He felt that he was a monster most of the time, which is why he usually refused to remove anything that revealed his scars, and hated to see his own body for the horrid nightmare that it was. He looked at the ground as he thought this, looking at the glove that was still laying there, and his scarred hand. It repulsed him that he had to live with this, but it was comforted by the fact that he was not alone. And it made him actually happy to know that he wasnt alone anymore. My cold blade shall be the last thing you will feel.. Enjoy it while you still live.

▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ 𝕬𝔰𝔪𝔬𝔡𝔢𝔲𝔰 𝕸𝔞𝔫𝔫 [[I have permission from BT to do this because she is SO swamped with homework, she can't really do much else at the moment.]]
Toorn heard Asmodeus's lie and snarled viciously in return. His brother was a cold, heartless being who he would soon deliver from this world. He lunged at his brother, going for blood. His brother would pay for what he had done and he would do it with his life. Toorn would make sure of that.
Asmodeus was caught off guard at his brother's attack. He was pushed to the floor, but the fight was no where near over. Asmodeus rolled over on top of his brother and got in a few punches before the other man retaliated. Asmodeus felt the sting in his cheeks and jaw as fists landed on the sides of his face. He reached around the floor, searching for anything to gain the advantage. His hands found nothing as he reached around.
Toorn let his hatred be known as he landed hit after hit on his brother's face. It failed to satisfy his incredible need to avenge his love. Toorn landed another punch just before he broke the leg off of a table in the caravan. The jagged wood was just what he needed. He plunged it into the side of Asmodeus's arm, inflicting physical pain that could never be considered close to the emotional pain he had felt. 'God wants him to understand the same pain I've felt,' he told himself.
He looked up at Lilura and Madlen. A cruel smile broke across his face. He stood from his pinned brother and began to advance on them. "It is God's will that you show Asmodeus what I felt for pain," Toorn told them as he picked up the knife that had been thrown into the ground before. It had a bent tip, but it would still cut them up easily. He grabbed Madlen by the wrist and sliced her rm down the side, digging the bent tip in painfully. He attacked Lilura next, stabbing her in the side. She had survived the knife to the throat before so this should be more pain than damage.
Asmodeus looked up and saw what was happening. He dragged himself to his feet. He pulled the jagged wood from his arm and bludgeoned his brother in the head with it. As he slumped to the floor, Asmodeus stood over him. He took the table leg and plunged it into his brother's heart. He would not allow more to be done to them.
[[Kyru, sorry about the god-mod on you, but I was told to make this good and I wanted Assy to have motivations xD This was also rather long to write out.]]

Madlen was caught off guard as Toorn grabbed her wrist and ran the blade down her arm at what felt like an agonizingly slow pace. She tried to pull away, letting out a pained shriek, but he was too strong. When he let her go, she stumbled, nearly falling over before lunging herself forward to try to keep him from harming Lilura. She succeeded only in making herself trip and fall against the wall, clutching her arm, which had blood running down its side like a river. Quickly, she felt dizzy and sick, the loss of blood from the earlier event catching back up with her as the act was repeated. The finale came sooner, for the corners of her vision were already growing fuzzy, she would soon pass out.

Under the radar Out of the system Ƚɩℓυɾα ϺαϵʋϵLilura watched in terror as Madlen was sliced. She, herself, was stabbed in the gut before she could react. She dropped down in a cold pain. Blood poured from her again as her fingers and toes went icy. It was only a few seconds before she felt the itch of her healing begin. It was slow however. She looked at Madlen, moving over to her. Her blood was being drained. It was losing its healing properties after having Asmodeus drink, the incident from earlier, and now this. If it were not for the mixture that Altair had given her, this might be an injury that could bring her incredibly close to death. As it was, she wanted to scream out, but years of practice kept her from doing so. Caught in the spotlight That's my existence

Letting out a groan, Madlen rolled over so the pressure was off of her arm. Carefully, she peeled her hand away from the wound and watched as the blood gushed out from her skin. She felt her stomach jump and she had to look away to keep from throwing up. "Y'know, I'm really starting to care less about his well-being." She managed, her voice as shakey as her trembling body. She felt her limbs grow cold and limp, making her teeter forward a bit.
