Sabre chuckled taking the sprocket from Clou, "Actually, Rusty told me once the only reason he got with me was for my .... and my sense of humour." He slid himself back out from under the Jackle and looked up at Clou whilst wiping his paws on the dirty oil and grease covered rag. "So tell me...what attracts you to Skye hmm?"

 Clou AdweissThe teen laughed at that, the two of them did make him smile they were an odd pair. He supposed Sabre's dry sense of humour was amusing. "M-me?" He stammered, the sudden question throwing him off a little, as he thought about it, his hands twiddled with a spare bolt nut gently. "I guess.. He keeps me safe, I feel protected round him, especially after all that has happened.. He has always stuck up for me, even against other's judgement.. He really wanted me.. Its hard to believe.. at times.."He gave a small warm smile to Sabre before looking back to his hands in his lap, "I didn't think I needed protecting, but it feels nice.. And he's strong and .. w-well.. " The blonde blushed, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

Sabre smiled and stood up after sliding out from under the vehicle and patted Clou on the shoulder. "Yeah I can imagine, to be honest I'm surprised at his restraint and that he hasnt turned you, you do know what will happen if he bites you right?" Sabre asked as he fiddled around with some more tools in a tool box. "Come to think of it, it's if any of us bite you." He stated as he twirled a spanner around in the air

Clou AdweissClou tilted his head in confusion, giving the other a peculiar look. He was half aware that during his times with Skye the man had sometimes been wary of him getting too close.. But was that why? He wanted to bite him? "Bite me? Restrai- What are you talking about? Why would anyone else bite me?" There were several parts the boy didn't get, and he felt a little naive right now, not understanding the unusualness of being human.

Clou AdweissThe blonde nodded in understanding at the first half, and as Sabre continued, he registered that Skye had mentioned this before. At the mention of him 'bedding' Clou, the blushed blushed, the answer obvious, but the additional information of him being alpha.. Was Skye okay with him getting physically close with others? Is that why he hadn't bitten him yet? As attractive as he found the muscled antrho's, he couldn't imagine being one, he was human, smooth skin and such. ~Would Skye even love him the same, the man always commented on his soft skin, hairless as it was. He wasn't sure whether he could handle the life of an anthro, it was, very very different. Realising he hadn't spoken, Clou stuttered a little, "Ah.. yes sorry, I spaced out there.. Thanks, that cleared up, a bit.."

Sabre studied Clou whilst he was silent, he'd always been a good judge of character, some rumours went around that he could read your mind but Sabre never did confirm or deny such a thing. "I wouldnt worry about it if I was you, Skye will love you no matter what, especially if he's already said "I love you". Also he'd never turn you without your concent anyways, besides we have no idea what you'd become." Sabre chuckled a little at his last comment, knowing a fair idea about how the change worked and from Clou's gestures and body language he had a fair idea which way it would turn out. Smiling he stuck his head down into one of the ports atop of the Jackle and began tinkering.

Clou AdweissClou looked up as Sabre spoke, worry evidently clear on his face. The lithe blonde stretched momentarily before returning his attention to the German Shepard anthro. What the guy said had him a little calmer, he should stop worrying, but sometimes, even with Midnight's support, he felt like he was floating, Skye wasn't there right now to anchor him to the ground. It was a scary feeling and had the little blonde stressed. Sabre's confident had him feeling a little better the man spoke very well about it. "..Thanks Sabre, your really confident.. Its really kind.. I don't mean to sound w-well.. a bit scatty its just all really new.." He gave a small smile as his cheeks tinted peach with a blush of embarrassment. "A-anyways, do you need anything else?" He looked over the Jackle again, "Anything else I can help with?"

Sabre wagged his tail back and forth as he tinkered away before raising his head from the hatch. "Have to be confident in this job kid, ah yeah hand me that blow torch there would you, also you can help me out later on tonight unless Midnight already has plans. Tonight is Rusty's movie night and so far I've never found any real entertainment in an of his movies, so some additional company would be most appreciated."

Clou AdweissClou did like Sabre's straightforward way of thinking, it made him easy to get along with. With a little difficulty he picked up the blow torch, lifting it carefully over to the anthro. "He hasn't told me about any plans so I assume it'll be fine.. and as long as I'm not interrupting, then yeah, sounds like fun Sabre, thanks."

Clou AdweissClou followed Sabre as he moved away from the machine. He waited until the other male invited him in before following, not wanting to be rude. Hearing the guns too, he swiftly turned, a little caught off guard by the sudden sounds, but upon explanation, he smiled. "I bet I could beat his a** at any video game in there.." A feisty look crossed his face, the blonde was feeling playful, and he was glad for all the others on the team, they were really helping him keep his mind from Skye's injured state, he was trying to forget, he was just not wanting to get hung over something he really couldn't speed up, Skye needed his rest anyways.. [[ooc:: back now from travelling!!!! biggrin ]]

Sabre smiled as they walked into the room "Please excuse the mess, Rusty isn't the cleanest room mate." Sabre bent over picking up some oily overalls and tapped Rusty on the back of the head as he walked past making the Husky's head spin round. "Oigh, what?" "You left your clothes on the floor again." "For you to find them more easily babe." "I'd find them easy enough if you put them in the basket pup." Sabre grumbled before walking towards the bathroom. "Hey Clou, make yourself at home." Rusty smiled before turning back to his game

Clou AdweissHearing the playful remarks between the two had him laugh, as they clearly got on well. He walked over behind Rusty and leant on his shoulders, watching the screen, keeping track of the game he was playing. "Thanks for housing me guys, if you want to have privacy kick me out, I don't want to become the third wheel heh." He meant about anything in general, before this he'd spent a lot of time with Skye or the twins, and didn't want to force his company on anyone but was pleased for the invites either way. It was a weird point in time, with current circumstances.
