Rei smiled. "I know, but it doesn't mean everything is dangerous, that's why we're here, so there's nothing to be afraid of." She reached the brush line and knelt down, looking into it trying to see who it was.

With a loud crack, Kalina once again materialized, one of the ice spikes clutched in her hand. "Hello I'm new here, I'm sorry about the spying, Its sort of a habit of mine." She said with a broad smile. She dropped the ice shard and blew on her whistle to call the raptor.

John got up from his crouching position with one of his eyes still closed while the other one was staring intently at Kalina. "Just be careful next time and sorry bout that Rei-Chan," John said smiling widely at Rei and Kalina, then he looked at Leon. "Oh and Balto . . . Work on your aim," John said before he dissappeared in a swirl of black flames.

Kalina looks up where John used to be then back down. "Well, I am Kalina Ann, I can bend space to suit my needs, and am studying in biological engineering."Kalina announced clearly turning as her raptor came sprinting up.

Rei looked at the girl and was going to respond to John but he disappeared. "Well it's nice to meet you, my name is Rei, welcome to the institute." She said extending a hand to shake. "Oh, and that's Leon." She said motioning to Leon. "He's a bit grumpy." She added with a smile.

Kalina Reaches out and shakes her hand. "Nice to meet you too," Kalina said politely, then gestured to the raptor said beside her, "and this is Fang, don't worry he's friendly and likes to cuddle." Kalina rubbed Fangs head.

Leon glared at john. "I'm not balto.." He mumbled to himself. He looekd up at her then the raptor. He mumbled to himself, in a whisper. "I wonder what raptor tastes like..." He sighed, standing between rei adn the raptor.

Rei smiled and looked toward the raptor. "It's nice to meet you too." She turned her gaze to Leon and sighed. "You're not going to act like this the whole time are you?"

Rei lightly smacked Leon in the forehead with a smile. "I hope you're kidding." She looks a bit worried at Kalina. "You're not gonna let Fang bite him are you, he may be grumpy and overprotective but he's a nice person."

Leon cut himself off. "N..no... damn..." He shifted into his wolf form, and looked at her, smiling that he still had complete control. He turned to look at the raptor and growled slightly, laughing in his mind.

Rei put her hand on Leon's head with a suspicious look in her eyes. "I think it would be best if we left for now, it was nice meeting you Kalina, Fang." She lightly tugged on Leon's ear to get him to follow.
