 Aphrodite dragged her feet into the Food Court When she spot her mother instead of her step-mother, she ran to her "OH MY GOD! He was right! You would come! You weren't dead!" She said practically to the brink of tears  Nyx held her child close to her "Yes Aphrodite, I have come back for you. I always will."

Kaori saw Emily waving her over, but she couldn't get up.
Instead she smiled in acknowledgement.
'I'm not sure why I'm here,' she said to Nina, 'I guess the excitement lured me in. But now that I'm here, I don't feel like I can leave. I just wish Okaa and Tousan were here. But they're dead. I've been able to feel their presence since I was ten. But... now I can't. I have a feeling they've finished their business on earth. It's disappointing to me. I would have even liked to feel their presences today, just once.'
Kaori sighed and willed herself not to be upset.
'Adeline's not even here. I haven't seen her in what feels like decades. At least she could have come,' she added.
