and true to his noble heritage, he straightens up, bends down, picks up a body like the rest of the students, and throws the body down into a grave..before turning his off-colored eyes to the woman..
"I can only keep her so long in the manor. Long enough I guess, but it can't be a permanent residence without the permission of my mother at the very least. Wouldn't it be better if a residence was made possible with precautions? We don't have the greatest security.."
He sighs..

Haro continued to pick up and move the bodies...but he didn't really react, not even to Aichou being there, usually he would have smirked and given her a wave, since he enjoyed her company. But...he was feeling a little bit self-critical and he heaved a sigh as he looked over to Megumi. "Listen. I don't need a break...I am perfectly fine...I...I just. Nevermind...no matter how you think you know how I am feeling, or think you can relate. You can't." He said quietly...almost muttering in-audiably. "But...thanks anyways." He said in a hushed tone again, a little bit of sadness welling up in his eyes, though they were turned away so they would be unseen.
How could he try to explain to the man that he didn't have a damned clue as to what his REAL personality was....that were were so many millions of different personalities he had inside of those symbols...that he could never know who he was, a horrible pain ofconfusion to have to go through. It was not only one mask...it was too many for him to count. He took a deep breath and inconspicuously a symbol moved on his back, out of view and he smirked as he stood up straight and took another deep breath with a bright smile. "It'll be alright." He said with a grin and contineud to do his job, whistling a little bit...an unusal change...it would be easy to pick off as a forced change, but maybe it wouldn't be noticed, who knows.

Miyoko placed her hand gently on Megumi's shoulder, and after a moment, and exchanging a glance with Aichou for a moment, pulled the student aside, into an alley with her. This discussion needed to be a little more private.
"If I may?" polite, considering her mannerisms just a moment before. This time, she's acting much more like a teacher, and far less like a fellow student. Her expression has gained an edge of seriousness, and she's glancing at Haro as well.
"I need to relate something to you.. privately."

Nagi piled about 20 bodies into a ditch and looked around, there were still a few left, there job was nearly completely. Nagi had other things on his mind for now. After this incident they would all have to train to become stronger.
He shook his head and grabbed a body, lifted it carefully and walked towards the ditch. He then lay the body on top of the other corpses.

Haro still had a bounce in his step, and he smiled brightly as he looked over to Miyoko....he knew that she had been glancing at him, he could feel her eyes as if they were litterally poking him. He smirked and he continued to pick up the bodies, whistling a happy tune, not paying attention to the others...now why hadn't he just done this kind of personality swap to begin with? Maybe his mind was just shot towards the nagging blood-lust at the sight of death. He smiled and he set a body gently into a grave, they were much less plentiful now, many of them were in thier holes, and he rubbed his hands together. Wondering what Megumi and miss Miyoko were speaking of, and if it had anything to do with him, from the glances he had been getting from her. He just shrugged his shoulders and picked up a little boy, his eye twitching as he looked at it. Almost breaking out of the personality, but then just smiling, and bringing him to a grave, setting him down. Now he actually had to lok to find bodies, they weren't absolutely anywhere and everywhere.

Apparently, Shunketsu was slow to get to the scene, being that a lot of the work was already done((>_<)). So, Shunketsu searched the areas that the others haven't gotten to yet and when he got to a certain spot, he stood there, petrified. Shunketsu lowered his head, his hair blocking others from seeing his eyes...He had been hoping for the best ever since he heard the announcement, but alas, his best friends were no more.
"neh...Botan, Jiro, Kisho...Keiko...how are you guys holding up? Look...I'm a shinigami now. I swore I'd become a shinigami and come back to protect you guys...I'm back...someone answer me...please"
Shunketsu remained standing, silent and motionless...
"Less than a week...last time I saw you guys...less than a week..."
Around this point, Shunketsu fell to his knees, slamming his right fist into the ground...a few tears dripped to the ground, but he eventually stood up, picked up Keiko first, and made his way to a grave where he could place her body...

Kaosu just stared at them all. Jeez. Fighting...amongst allies. War really does bring out the worst in people, doesn't it? He shook his head, then spying a body neatly tucked into a corner. Unfortunately, he had become accustomed to the dead bodies in a way. It was horrible, but true. He lifted the teenager up, judging him to be about his age. He sorrowfully, respectfully placed his body into the hole and nodded. "I think we're good."
True enough, he couldn't see any more bodies. "Anything else you guys want the 'grunts' to do? Dig and refill ditches? Refortify the soaked buildings? Dry the ground with a single roll of paper towels? Or are we actually done here?"
Kaosu was ticked, kinda. Maybe the aggrivation in the air was rubbing off on him. I don't want to lift bodies all day...I need to get stronger...

It was Miyoko who spoke up first, her zanpaktou slung over her shoulder.
"Yo'," the tension in his stance was too open, to apparent. She had an idea of exactly what he was feeling, and it wasn't as if she blamed him. Things were tense for everyone, and frustration was building.
"You think being a shinigami is just about fighting? That all we do is unlock our swords, and kill hollows?" she tapped the blade on her shoulder against her kimono once, before hefting it downward.
"Do you?" her expression was serious, and she was watching Kaosu intently, though she already had a good idea of what his response would be.

Shunketsu had already found and buried as many bodies as he could find. He was currently sitting on a rock, still dealing with how many people he knew had just died today...He happened to be close enough to hear Kaosu and Miyoko...
Speaking mostly to himself, being that he didn't feel himself worthy of anything at the moment, least of all the attention of others: "tch...you can still make jokes after what just happened...do you only think of yourself?"
Despite his objection to Kaosu's attitude, Shunketsu himself wanted to train and become stronger more than anything. Vengeance was one of the main things running through his mind at the moment. The other thing running through his mind was mainly wondering what is going to happen now...

Haro merely stood in the backround now, not saying anything, it would seem Miyoko had ended the little Megumi being pulled away session rather quickly, without saying much, as far as he had seen at least. Not to mention the glances he had been getting must have indeed been nothing. The symbols all slipped back into their regular place. Or at least what he thought was regular and he took a deep breath as he stood there, sitting down where he stood, right into the middle of a puddle. He didn't care any longer. A confused look was upon his face, extremely apparent and his eyes were closed, fists clenched tightly. He wondered who he really was, and it was tearing at him from the inside now.
Why had it never bugged him before? Maybe just because that damned "Damian" character had never been so pushy with him before...it was as if he was more then just another personality. Maybe he was the actual Haro? He didn't know how he could look in the mirror if that was how he really was. He stood up and a symbol on his neck switched with one on his lower back and when he stood up his face was completely expresionless. He walked up to Miyoko. "Is it okay if I leave now? I do believe the job is done here." He stated, using that expressionless to mask how he deeply felt at the moment.

[Enter]
Rikatsu rushes up then stops when he sees the devastation. His eyes grow wide then he seems to gain control of himself.
Looking around at all the shinigami, most with shell-shocked expressions on their faces and a rising anger, Rikatsu spots someone he knows; Kaosu, who looks especially angry. "What's happened? Did you all fight them off?" Coming closer to Kaosu, he sees the previously hidden bodies. With an audible gulp, Rikatsu goes a bit ashen faced and begins to understand the anger everyone around him has.
Recovering a bit, he began to grow angry himself. Gripping his wrists in frustration. "This cannot be allowed! ... They must be stopped, who or whatever they are!." Glaring into the graves a tear begins to roll down his face. A moment later he shakes himself and looks around, "What can I do to help?"

Sulia was short to arrive as her thoughts were focused directly on the scene she witnessed in first hand. She could conclude from what she saw that there was a fight...and perhaps a large scale move was used. Some people were caught in the blast.
She turned her head to see if the boy she met from earlier were to show up. She turned lightly before turning her head to watch the other students and the shingami placing the bodies in specified areas. This was probably to prevent disease, or worse from spreading in case. The bodies would probably have to be burned.
She wasn't familiar with anyone, so she stood there turning her head once in a while to see if the boy from before were to catch up.
"That was very rude of me to not catch his name..." She spoke to herself as she put her hands behind her waiting patiently.

Kaosu sighed. "Well...I know it isn't all about that, but it's all I can do. I mean, here I am on Yamamoto's orders...to pick up dead bodies. I won't get recognition for anything else, right? I can't see anyone being recognized as 'a member of the clean-up committee'. No, all you strong people get the recognition. Want to know why? Because you train. I'm pretty sure you guys didn't just naturally grow into your roles. No, you risked your lives, blood and sweat probably flowed down your bodies frequently."
He sighed. "And I'm sent to pick up bodies." He cut off his semi-sensible rant when Rikatsu walked up and began taking a survey of what had happened. "If you want to help stop 'em, take a place in line. Neither you nor I can do anything. Nah, we get to watch. You got popcorn? We might get hungry." Kaosu was writhing and seething, but most of all he was disappointed. He wanted to do something. Something important. Something that would help defend the Soul Society. Not bury the dead.

Long had been running frantically all day so far, and he was pretty exhausted after reaching the destion provided by the girl he had just met. His body was sore, after having to fight a student, then a hollow, and now a marathon from the edge of the forest to the city districts.
He came walking up after running, shoulders slumped, body barely moving. Anyone could tell he had quite a bit to do just by looking at him. He stopped after approaching Sulia, "Ok, Sulia right? My name is Long, and as far as I can tell, looks like something big happened," Long said as he placed his hands on his knees while he leaned over.
"What happened here?" Long asked curiously as he lifted his head and saw Shun and several other shinigami stacking and piling bodies to designated areas, "What could have caused this?" Long said looking at Sulia since she was the one who arrived and may have been able to find out something.
"We should help..." Long said placing his hands together in prayer as he bowed forward honoring the dead with his gesture. He straightened his back as he approached the other shinigami to help.

The glances she'd been giving Haro were far from nothing, no, she was curious about those markings. She'd have to do a little research. But right now, she was focused on Kaosu. She patted Haro on the shoulder once, as he approached, nodding when he asked if he could leave.
"Do you think that what you do is any less noble?" Miyoko's expression was still stern, but also there was a hidden question there. She reached out, and prodded one of Kaosu's shoulders with the end of her sheathed zanpaktou.
"I'm here, same as you, on Yamamoto's order. To oversee, and assist in the cleanup. Do you honestly think I ever told him 'no', just because I wanted something a little more glorified?" she lowered her sword, and shook her head.
"I didn't get to where I am today just by moving bodies, no. But I had my fair share of it. What do you think we do in the mortal world? Twiddle our thumbs until a hollow shows up? No. We are Shinigami. We perform soul burials. That, though the ceremony is different, is not too far removed from what you all do here now. Placing the bodies so they are at rest. So the memories don't haunt those who are reborn," her expression was as it had been this entire time, serious, not mocking, just stern.
"What good would you going to fight right this second do? As much as you like to think you could make a difference in your current state, you'd end up just another dead body," her zanpaktou was placed back into her obi, and she sighed.
"We don't get 'all the recognition'. We gained Yamamoto's respect. We were diligent students, some not so diligent, and we busted our asses to earn that respect. We trained ourselves until our hands were raw. He made sure we didn't 'risk our lives' unless it was necessary. If those shinigami came back right now.. what do you think you'd do? Swing your unsealed zanpaktou at them? You'd die," she reached a hand upward, pushing violet hair back from her tanned face.
"Blood and sweat flowed down our bodies, alright. And of all of us. Do you see how many are left?" she raised a hand, one finger lifting with each tick of a name she stated. "Myself, Hiren, Korin, Nagi, Aichou," and for one fleeting moment, there was a sad smile on her face, before it was gone.
"Out of dozens. We made it the entire way," her hand rested on the hilt of her zanpaktou, and she gave a very faint smile in Kaosu's direction.
"And our first real duty, assigned by Yamamoto.. was to bury the dead," she turned away, moving to lift one of the few remaining bodies, carrying it to the grave, before stepping back, as one hand extended outward, and a small burst of reiatsu rocked the edge of the grave, causing the pile of dirt to collapse inward, covering the body.
"Now, you bury the dead. Today, you follow Yamamoto's orders. Tonight, you rest. Tomorrow, we work your asses to the bone, to try and get you all prepared. But today.. you follow orders," and she was gone then, walking further down the soaked road, mud drenching her sandals, the bottoms of her shinigami uniform covered in the clingy brown liquid, blood staining the wood of her sandals a dark color.
