Mmkay, cool. ^^ I guess nikomas wasn't able to post. Oh well, that's okay, all we're really doing is getting up to the fort. I guess Isto is taking us up on our offer? I'll have a post up probably tomorrow, take us up the mountain, and establish the Fort setting with a bit of character interaction and set-up for... something. biggrin And, here's a link to the current page of the RP. ^_^ Would you like me to change your colors in the character list on the first page. =) While it might be better to stick with the color you started with, I don't mind people switching, especially since we're still closer toward the beginning of the story. Just let me know once it's worked out. biggrin

Än--or the Ebon Blade--must be an even harsher culture than I'd thought, if little girls are allowed to Shoot Arrows At Other Kids with no greater consequence than a stern rebuke. What if Isto hadn't been an Assassin At Eleven? Though I guess, if they're allowed to fire deadly arrows, it must be normal in Än--or the Ebon Blade--to weed out the weak. xD It fits the place, so it's cool, just whoa. xD
It makes sense that an assassin wouldn't have the same perspective on mounts. Since she's That Good at ambushing, in her experience mounts ARE a disadvantage. xD Perfect thing to give us a bit of intrigue, Elenda picking up on Isto's not-so-knightly assassin-ness. ^_^ Though Elenda has no idea the Ebon Blade exists, so I'm not planning any "aha" moment.

okay, I'll try and keep my next post short.
As for the punishment of the twins, that came after the mounts chose their masters ^_~ As for dropping hints that Isto isn't what she seems, I'll try not to give it away too early.
Since there is not a lot of info to go on about Än, I'll try and fill in some info but not make it too unbelievable. I hope the Hierarch system i started putting forth is working out so far (Each house has a head that sits on the Hierarch council with one house leading). I kinda came up with a list of the great houses in Än, having seven houses (i've only come up with three names so far) :
-Taran'oth (keepers of the Ebon Blade, current leader of the council)
-Gibs (the twins are from this house)
-Uldril (Kaiden came from this house, his parents were killed when he was six [his mom was cousin to the current ruling head])
will this work for now?

@Kalon: Hm, the northern area seems like it might be an odd place for a prairie/grassland. Well, we can figure out where the ranch is once you settle out the basic geography. Besides, they don't have to go by the ranch on this specific Errand. You said yourself there'd be more than one, right? wink

Man, you're making me want to start my own guild with just Errands of Mandor role-plays now. xD Mari, that sounds great. I should have mentioned it before, but yeah I did like the Hierarch system you have. ^_^ I only had a vague concept of a natural hierarchy sort-of like a pyramid where you have people on the top and lesser people on down in levels with more and more people as you go down. So probably there'd be one elite or ruling house which, probably, being Än, people would fight over, and then you'd have a few other most powerful houses, probably four or five, and then you'd have a bunch of other not-quite-so-uberly-powerful houses, maybe like twelve or fifteen, and then a bunch of lesser stuff, and on and on down the line to the nameless folk who win renown based on strength or whatever they do in Än. biggrin So, you're concept fits pretty well with that. ^_^ Plenty of room to fill it out, either in this RP or in new ones or maybe even not for a long time, or a tiny bit at a time, with lots of mystery, or who knows. xD Your post was fine. Was that a James Bond reference? Woot! xD I suppose if you still wanted to add something, you could describe some of riding behind the warrior on the scaly and especially large land stryder, and maybe her perspective and/or memories of the scenery. biggrin I liked the reference to her recent visit. And with the talk giving her hints as to what's going on, indeed things are going to get interesting. xD Nikomas, Zuuta was one of the ones who sped up to see the view, in the drawing, so if you want you could post about that. biggrin I've been busy or I might have had us to the Fort by now. Hopefully later today or early tomorrow I should be able to start on it. smile

I basically just ghosted Shane through the past events, so no worries. razz Kalo, a guild idea sounds intriguing. I made a guild for my old School of Magic RP (that died T~T) and it was alright. Though, you might be able to lead it better than I ever would. xD
Mari: I've been reading some of your posts and such, and I'm getting this tick that you play World of Warcraft. Am I correct?
