Arcus burst into the Raikage's office. He stumbled on his way in, but managed to straighten himself. He pushed his glasses up and surveyed the room. There was the little girl from the training field and those guys he'd seen after his genin test. He blinked as the bug he'd nested in the girl's clothing earlier slipped out and silently crawled back to him. It climbed up his leg and ended up in his dreadlocks which hung down lazily on his head. L...Lord Raikage. I came because I can not at this particular moment, finish the task you gave me. He laid the Doton scroll she'd given him on her desk, the kunai still in it. I had a bit of an accident....he murmured. He was hoping she wouldn't punish him for damaging her scroll. He'd already done that. He made a habit of never failing at his tasks. It made up his nindo after all. He was seriously beating himself up about even potentially failing at his task. He promised himself right then and there that although he hadn't assuredly failed anything yet, he was never going to come this close to failure again. His eyes were slightly watered behind his dark glasses, but he held it in. There were people here and he was a genin, messing up a mission didn't make you sad.....you just didn't do it. So he refused to mess this up when there was a chance she could fix it. He hung his head slightly, and let his beetle recount what had happened since he'd released the thing to spy. He awaited her response while he caught up on current events.

Arcus was quiet for a while. He was still listening to his bugs talk. He glanced at the small girl. A Biju? The Nibi? A medical ninja?? This guy? Head of Black Ops? The other one is Anbu as well? When did all of this happen? The more information he got, the more taken aback he was. He hoped that his face wasn't showing to be overly surprised, but his mouth and eyes were covered, so he figure he was ok. He was suddenly very glad for his surveillance skills. He had found a good use for them. If he could impress the Raikage, she might not kill him for ruining the scroll and possibly failing his task.

Um, I had sort of...put the scroll down. He mumbled. But only for a second. He hurried to add. An Aburame teacher had shown up. He was teaching me and my graduation partner different jutsu. I mastered a C ranked Aburame jutsu with his help, but in the process, a kunai, bounced off of the jutsu and impaled the scroll. He hung his head in shame. Then pushed up his glasses. He wanted to try his idea of impressing her. um...but I didn't fail, or not yet. I learned some Doton jutsu! I'm still useful. I'm a master of surveillance and intelligence. For example, I'm one of the few people that knows, she's the Nibi. He pointed to the little girl. I even know what kind of ninja she wants to be. I also know that these two are Anbu Black Ops.. He pointed at the two and smiled slightly. Anbu were supposed to be the best, yet he'd been here 2 minutes and could already identify them. It made him sort of proud. So um...yeah. I'm still pretty useful. This was just a setback. I always complete. If something's worth doing, Its worth doing right. Thats my nindo. He spoke more softly than he had before. It was sort of embarrassing to say your nindo out loud. He hope he made some sort of impression.

Sosay walked up to Ukiyo and quickly threw a punch for his stomach, giving him the clue to keep his mouth shut unless he really wanted to be in pain. "Arcus! You don't have to worry. I can get another scroll any time. I was just curious as to how it all happened. Trust me. I've burned quite a few katon scrolls while training." she replied. When he spoke out about everything in the room she simply smile. It was expected of an Aburame. They were well known for the ability to gather information with their bugs.

Arcus scowled beneath his jacket collar. The man had walked away from him, and clearly Lady Raikage was strong. That punch looked painful. He grudgingly put back his kunai. He thought about the man's words as a scent of vanilla wafted past his nose. The Anbu captain wears perfume? How lame. He thought about it as he unconsciously ran his fingers through his hair. Anbu? The special force? The Elite? The ones who get the 'big' jobs. Sounds like just my thing. Arcus said with a smile. On the other hand, you smell like vanilla, which may compromise any stealth missions I'm on, I'm pretty sure I've seen this guy on the training grounds with a bunch of genin. I can probably take him in a fight, should I need to, and to top it off, It took me less than a minute to discover all of your identities, goals, and everything you talked about in this room, because I put a bug in the Nibi's collar when she was on the training field. You guys are actually pretty sloppy... Arcus finished. He wasn't trying to be insulting, although he knew he'd come off that way. He was actually just analyzing the situation. Eh, I've got nothing better to do until she gets my scroll. I'm in. What do i do? He finished, pushing up his glasses and running his fingers through his dreads.

Arcus stared at the edge of the kunai which had pierced his glasses. He calmly removed the kunai, showing the room the bright silver of his eye, before closing it and taking the glasses off. He threw them to the floor, dug in his pockets and took out another pair.

As you guys can see, we clearly got off on the wrong foot. I apologize..... He paused and waited for the bug on his shoulder to supply a name. Aoi-chan. I don't know much about the Biju, and it was out of ignorance I referred to you that way. To answer your question, yes, I'm aware that the katon users among us can 'fry' my bugs. But then again, why would I use bugs when I have Doton? Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Arcus turned on his heel and began walking out. He put on an extra calm demeanor to mask the ever growing anger at the outrageous insult of having his glasses broken. When I speak of my skill, I'm not bragging, nor am I being over confident. You saw what just happened. I'm sure you'll understand why if one day you find your self minus and Anbu captain. He continued walking, but paused one more time. oh, and good luck Aoi-chan. I get the feeling you'll be a great medical ninja. On that note, he walked out of the room coldly and headed to the Park.
