Tsukiko screamed, how many times had she screamed, no one knew. It was the same dream over, and over. The same nightmare, the one where everything bad that could happen did. So now Tsukiko sat alone in her room as she cried. It had been the same dream every night for the past few days. She knew if she went back to sleep she would only have the dream again. Climbing out of bed Tsukiko threw her cloths on.

Walking out of the dorm Tsukiko didn't notice nor care how much of a mess she looked like. Her cloths where slightly wrinkled, and her eyes where red still form crying. She popped her headphones in her ears. Needing to get her mind off of everything. She didn't want to feel alone, even if she was.

Classes had been a blur, the only thing she cared for was cooking, art, and her love music. Sure the water classes where fun, but she had full control already. The thing was her control was slipping. Her grade in there was to, she hadn't gone the past 2 days. Witching hour could happen anytime now. With her birthday tomorrow. Tsukiko never wanted to be more alone in her life.

"Should I bite my tongue? Until blood soaks my shirt. We'll never fall apart. Tell me why this hurts so much."Tsukiko sang as she walked in the night air. She grasped her the cloth above her heart. It did hurt, very much so.

"My hands are at your throat, and I think I hate you, but still we'll say, "remember when." Just like we always do. Just like we always do."

♪ Looking up into the sky, looking for the reason Why I'm here and why you can't be here ♪

Screaming woke Fyte up abruptly. It had also interrupted her dream too, but now she couldn't remember what her dream was about. Being a heavy sleeper, it took something to wake her up. Sleepily shrugging it off, as she curled up underneath her blankets to sleep again. Maybe I can have that same dream… and remember it too… She thought to herself, the sound of her breathing the only thing in the room once again.

The last couple of days had been normally uneventful. There was one thing niggling her, though. One of her teachers (she had him for two of her classes) had been shooting her odd looks these past days. It'd only happen in his class, though, and she had no idea what to do about it. Fyte hadn't asked Tsukiko about it, cause even she herself couldn't make heads or tails about it. Maybe she was… weird? No one else really seemed to think so, though. So… what was it?!

Not only was that one teacher bothering her, Nemo was too. She'd tried to let him have his space, trying to not bother him. The last encounter with him had left her utterly confused and a bit crushed. She wanted to talk to him again, but… just the thought of him gave her mixed feelings. She wasn't mad at him… just… happy, sad, confused, a bit hurt… her heart and mind weren't helping her when she tried to figure herself out.

(mini plot lol Might stew some things up)

As Tsukiko rounded the corner a great scene lay before her. The swirling fog gave way to a long corridor of robed figures, chanting soulfully with heads bowed. Each bore a staff with a burning candle. Their faces were covered in cloth, but their voices rang clear. Their robes were the color of deep crimson.

At the end of the path was a large tree and chained to it was Palian. Clothed in a white shirt and black pants, his appearance was striking, while still looking horrid.

He was limp in his bonds, dried blood trailing down his body from the wounds in his hands, feet, face and torso. His hair was matted and clotted with the blood and his sweat. Around his neck was the water witch's necklace. Head bowed, he panted softly. Eyes still covered in his trademark silver scarf, he lifted his head slowly.

"I know that voice," he croaked. His voice was dry and hoarse. The robed figures stood unmoving, their chanting continued.

Lifting himself to his feet, the dream demon began pulling at the chains that held him. The chanters rose in volume as he pulled each chain, one link snapping after another until finally. . . finally he was freed to stand hunched slightly. Rough hands reached up and pulled harshly on the scarf, ripping it. The thin fabric fell around his feet.

Revealing two electric blue eyes.

(When you think of this post listen to this song. It's the song the figures are chanting. With Great Power And yes, I know it's short, but it's introductory. lol)

Ace had felt a hand brush against his and turned to see alessa as a smile appeared on Ace's face "Yes I was in critical condition but my powers heal me faster than most people. Even so I still need to rest because as you can see I am still bandaged up." Ace says lifting his shirt up partways to show bandages all around his waist that have a tint of red in them where the wounds are located. "More importantly are you alright? I don't fully remember what happened as I went into a three day coma in the hospital but I do remember you taking a knife in the chest....I can't remember what happened after Raine dissapeared but I am guessing you or one of the teachers has Birdie." As Ace finishes his sentence a boy from the secretary commity ranked just below Alessa walks up "Paul:..Umm..excuse me Alessa A few of the other commitee members and I are wondering what your relationship with this guy is." Paul says blushing a bit with a few more members walk up behined him as he points towards Ace "Paul:Is he your boyfriend? We only ask as you usually never speak to people in a sociable manner and you have been around Ace constantly since the beggining of this year." Ace stands to the side hiding a blush with his bandaged arm by acting like he is fixing a bandage

((Thought it would be fun to add some characters that like Alessa. It kinda reverses her whole idea on that she is hated by everyone and is thought of as ugly or something like that. We could also do this for Fyte as she is quit a looker lol))

The minute Tsukiko turned the corner she regretted not going back to sleep. She had looked down to restart her song, and now she had stumbled upon a some cult sacrifice it looked like. Tsukiko couldn't help the gasp that let her lips. She forgot about the music devise in her hands when she saw something move. She distinctively to a steep back.

"I'm dreaming again, aren't I. This is my nightmare again isn't it." She raid with tear running down her face. She knew who it was, she would never not know who it was. Tsukiko wanted to run to him, and warp her arms around him, and just never let him go. Nemo didn't want her help, but still it didn't feel right.

She bit her lip as she got a better look at Palian. More tears fell from her face. It meant the world to her though when she saw her locket. She didn't see him take off his scarf, because she was running toward him. Though she didn't even know she had moved until she was already there.

She didn't look up at his face, she was looking at his wounds. "Are you still angry with me." She asked looking at the ground. Her fist clenched. Her shoulders shaking, as she tried not to cry. This was the part where he told her she was that foolish little girl she knew she was. She looked up only to look at the robed figures. The same sharp pain filled her head. Tsukiko raised both hands up to her mouth. She bit down on one while the other kept it in place.

Kiko couldn't feel the pain in her hand, even though the blood would flow freely in a moment. The pain in her head made her legs week. She tried with all her might to gain control of her mind. "Why now, why here." She whimpered when the pain went numb. It had felt like someone had hit her with a metal bat. Her right hand was covered in her blood. Everything was blurry, and nothing was making sense. "Someone please make the pain go away."

Still for but a heart beat, Palian grabbed Tsukiko the moment she was in reach in a tight hug. Burying his face in her hair, he inhaled her scent.

"I knew I'd get to hold you once more," he whispered. "And this time it's not a dream." This was truth, for though he could speak, the dream demon was in fact in the waking world.

"I could never stay angry at you," he said softly. Pulling away from her slightly, he closed his eyes and took a calming breath. His wounds disappeared in a flash, as if they never were, leaving him whole once more.

"But something is wrong. I have been brought here when my punishment had not been fulfilled. Master would not let me out unless he had no other choice. And," he explained with an air of urgency.

"He would never let me see the world so freely." He took the moment to look Tsukiko in the face. It seemed that until that moment he had avoided it, but once he did a tension left him. His husky eyes, both of them, bore into Tsukiko as if he was trying to memorize every detail.

"Unless he has need so dire as to call upon me to guard him as I am intended." His hands lifted to hold her face gently. His fingers smoothing the frown on her forehead.

"God. . . you are beautiful," he admitted in awe. "Like water after crossing the dessert. Or a fire on a cold winter night. If for no other reason, I'm glad I get to see you like this." A smile tugged at his lips, one that only she would know.

(Has Nemo finally accepted his demon? What is the urgent need? Why is this nightmarish scene suddenly soaking with cheesy romance!?!! Tune in next time!! >.< I'm so evil.)

♡♥ Broken up, deep inside, but you won't get to see the tears I cry ♥♡

Alessa fought everything raging inside her to keep a straight face. "Yes, I think you're annoying." she said softly, but still quite upset that he had that expression on his face. But that's what makes me more drawn to you. She couldn't, wouldn't, shouldn't admit that fact to Ace, not in front of everyone here. Still, it hurt a bit to see his sad face, and his fake smile. But it'd be a bad idea to egg on the group's idea that she liked Ace (she certainly did not like him like that!). "Take care of yourself, Mr. President. And tell me when you're going to pick Birdie up." she told Ace before he walked away.

"As for you guys…" Alessa now turned her attention to her current annoyance. "It's not true that he's my boyfriend, but I won't go out with any of you. There's no reason why that'll clear up that rumor, and I'd at least like to know a person better before I decide to go out with them. So… I'm going to have to turn you down. And," she cut in before any of the members said anything. "I need my sleep before the day starts, so I must take my leave. I'll see you later." Alessa whisked herself out of the cafeteria, half hoping she would be able to catch up to Ace. Once outside, however, she did not spot the black hair of the person she was looking for. Sighing, she returned to her dorm, ignoring the cuddly scene by her dorm. She already had enough stress for the day already, and didn't have enough energy to really care or do something about it. Climbing up to her dorm, she placed her tea on her nightstand before plopping down by the side of her bed. "Birdie, why do these things happen to me?" Alessa asked the sleeping bird quietly, Ace's face popping into her mind. "I… I don't know what to do anymore… I didn't… mean to hurt him." Slowly, she drifted off to sleep, her head resting upon her folded arms.
