"Me or Rex?" Kat asked with a slight grin. She shook her head and echoed Rook's statment. "Just sleep. And Either two of you share the bed, or another one of you gets to sleep on the floor."

You've shown too much hospitality to sleep on the floor." He said, moving himself to the floor, near a wall, not far from Kat. "You sure man? It's not that big a deal?" Jarred said. "It's not like I'm doing much of anything tomorrow, I don't need a good night's sleep as much."

I don't want you to be sleeping on the floor of your own apartment, affter agreeing to take in a band of fugitives... And then assisting in their activities. Seems like an awful lot of sacrifice, just to be rewarded with sleeping on the floor."

"If you're sure." Jarred shrugged, not too broken up by it. He moved over towards the door where the lights were, dimming them enough to sleep, but just bright enough everyone wouldn't be tripping over everything if they woke up to pee.

Kat chuckled, settling her hand on Rex's fur to give him a small scratch. "Fine, good night then." She yawned, "I call first shower in the morning."
