Mandy licked her lips as she stopped, she heard a voice. “Darn, it’s the court...” she muttered softly. Smiling at Riku she winked. “Now, you stay here big boy...” As she spoke she pulled a black silk scarf out of a drawer by the bed and wrapped it around Riku’s mouth, making sure it was firmly wedged inside. “Now, you can’t talk and ruin our fun.” She patted his cheek and blew him a kiss before moving towards the door.
Once at the door she slowly opened it. However, she only opened it a crack, giving her view of only Aurelia. “Oh, if it isn’t the Queen of the Court, how may I help you milady?” She spoke venom dripping from her voice. “I hope it is important for I was just heading to bed. You see, my first day was rather... boring and dull.” As she spoke she bent her arm at the elbow putting it into a right angle, a long line of water began to form from her arm taking the form of a long whip.
Leaning on the right side of the wall, out of sight of Mandy Jay rolled his eyes. Boring and dull huh? Yeah, my guess you haven’t seduced a lot of people today... Tramp... Slowly he started tapping his foot on the ground softly hoping it wouldn’t make a sound at all. As he did he looked into Aurelia’s eyes he shook his head, telling Aurelia to not believe a word Mandy had just spoken. Although, she might be right she could be going to bed however, who was the unlucky guy he wondered and why did it unnerve his Queen so much.

"For a tree to become tall it must grow tough roots among the rocks." - Friedrich Nietzsche
As Astin looked about the room she noticed the teacher saying something to her, though she wasn't really paying attention. She stepped into the room, "Excuse me sir did you say something?" She had watched him clean the room and found herself fascinated by his mastery of his element. Then again she was easily impressed by anyone who could use there element is a beautiful and effortless way. Though it was partly because she envied the lack of effort they showed as even though she was extremely skilled in her control of the Earth she knew she would always have difficulty because of her weak body not being able to contain the power that she had. She looked up at the teacher smiling, realizing she had let her mind wander again.

Riku wasn't expecting being gagged... much less being gagged by a fellow Black Knight. What was the world coming to? Betrayal's were so common in todays world... but, it worked out for the better, it helped him rationalize his thoughts again, and his raging hormones weren't so raging anymore. He looked at the door and how much she had opened it, just barely giving Mandy enough room to look at whoever was standing outside, and the person standing outside, not enough to look in. He was gagged so he didn't try saying anything, but then he saw the whipand began making muffled shouting noises to try and warn Aurelia. Mostly for her sake, but if Aurelia left... That whip might not disappear. Ken looked at the boy, shrugging at Trey's comment. "I generally keep a few bandages around for when I occasionally get injured severly." He easily walked over to his dresser, pulling out a first aid kit, and pulling out of said first aid kit, some simple bandages. Walking back over to Trey, he handed the kid to her. "Keep his head still while I patch his head wound up." Tai quickly finished cleaning his floor up from the water mess he had created and got up from his chair. "I was asking if you needed anything." He then looked at her uniform and noticed it was black... meaning she was a court member here at the school. Wow, he still remembered that? It had been so long since he'd been here, but the Court members still retained their black uniform. He chuckled, "A Court member, huh? I guess some things never change. I'm Tai Katashi, the new Elemental teacher here. But please, call me Tai. I'm old enough to be a senior here."

Astin went over and sat on a desk looking up at Tai, "Joker to be exact, but I'm not all deep into the whole Court thing, I just do what the King tells me to do. I'm just in it so people know I'm tough", with that she raised a fist and laughed as she couldn't hold her tough act. Smiling she looked him up and down, so he was young probably not much older than her. Astin looked back up at Tai stopping her train of thoughts from going somewhere they shouldn't, "I'm going to make a wild guess here and say you teach water something Tai sir. And you must be pretty strong since your such a young teacher. One would say a young talented teacher with a side of good looks."

Tai turned slightly pink, and pushed his glasses up again. "It's not talent, it's a lot of luck. Both of my parents were elemental users and put me ahead of everyone else. You know when they say 'sometimes you need a good push'? Well, they gave me a pitched me off a cliff. It was a gamble on their part, and look how it turned out." He walked over to the board, erasing his age, but left his name up. "But that's not important. I just got a lucky draw. So," He asked, taking a seat at a desk next to her, feeling somewhat nostalgic from his years as a student here. "What brings you to an Elemental Water Defense class?" To prove his point, he brought some water from the sink over to form a small shield out of ice and put it on the palm of his hand.

Aurelia felt the vibrations from the tapping of Jay's foot and saw the look in his eyes, giving him a small nod in response. Returning her gaze to Mandy she raised an eyebrow. "In that case, why don't you allow me to do a routine dorm inspection. If you are only going to bed, I don't think there is any reason for you to object." She said politely, placing her hands behind her back. Hearing the muffled sounds a wind current formed around her fists, moving up her arm, prepared if anything should happen.[[edited]]

Listening to his story Astin frowned, she wished her parents would of pushed her instead of trying to hold her back. They were the reason she wanted to prove her strength to prove that she could overcome her weakness rather than just accept it as they had. As he sat down in a desk near her she looked back at him, "No, its important at least your parents had expectations for you. I would kill to be like the kids who aren't ever good enough for their parents, at least they don't hold them back." Leaning forward she watched in awe, her blue eyes going bright as he drew the water out and solidified it into a frozen shield, she reached out to touch it, "It's so pretty."

The whip in Mandy’s hand began to turn crystalline as she smiled sweetly. “Oh, sure you may...” She thrust the whip foreword, the tip aimed for Aurelia’s stomach. “IN HELL YOU DOG OF THE COURT!” Slowly the tip drilled through the door, slightly only a bit seen but, it was enough.
Jay saw the tip, grabbing Aurelia and rotating putting himself in the way. However, has he rotated he moved slightly away causing the ice spear to only graze his side and cut his jacket and shirt. He looked into Aurelia’s eyes and smiled again before turning to face Mandy and the door. His hands pressing into the door causing it to burst into flames taking the spear away along with it, showing the fullness of Mandy’s room. Jay rolled his eyes as he cracked his neck. “Back... Down Mandy, this is not how your family wants it to be.” Touching his hands together he brought forth five lines of fire each connected to a finger, drawing them tight he snapped the lines causing each to break at 10inches. “Bringing Uncle Petrio dishonour like this. Pathetic daughter you are indeed! No wonder he sent you here!”
“Jay, it has been too long!” She spoke her still sounding angelic. “Aw, you’d hurt me? I was only going to have fun with him. Maybe toss him aside like trash... depending if he is good or not.” She looked at Aurelia and smiled. “Oh, is he your toy? I am sorry; I usually don’t try the trash of dogs. But, for this one...” She said motioning to Riku. “I’ll make an exception.”

Riku felt a small vien pop in his forehead. That was a cruel thing to say. Last he checked, he wasn't all that much of trash, but more like... then again, he was a Black Knight. So, regardless, he sighed in defeat. Trash he was, but at least he was funny trash. So instead of really doing anything, he rocked back and forth on his feet, he couldn't do anything, he was gag- Wait, she didn't tie his hands up. Riku literally kicked himself in the back, and quickly untied the knot in the silk... whatever it was. "Whew, thought I was gonna suffocate." He joked, already grinning. Walking up behind Mandy, he wrapped an arm around her, "You are a real b**ch you know that?" Removing his hand from her shoulder, his MP3 player began playing Suffocating Sight by Trivium. Tai slightly tensed up. First day and it appears he's already made a student upset... and she wasn't even in his class. "Ah, I'm sorry... I guess I spoke too freely. But this shield," he said, letting her touch the finely created ice, and got an idea. "It's small, and appears fragile, you'd never want to use it in a fight. However," He picked it up and threw it against a wall as hard as he could, then summoned it back into his hand. "That small and fragile looking shield went up against a wall, and not even a crack." He handed it out to her, "You keep it, and don't worry about it melting, the ice I create is meant to stand against flames as hot as lava. It won't melt at room temperature that easily."
Maybe this could correct his mistake.

The sequence of events was a blur to Aurelia, unable to defend herself and not expecting the attack from behind the door. But, Jay's protective action took her off guard. Not moving from where she was or releasing herself from his hold the Queen tilted a little to the side, allowing her to get a view of Mandy's room. Seeing Riku her features expressed disapproval as she felt something stir within her, a mix of emotions she knew she could not show; and thus she avoided looking at him any further.
Shaking her head she looked back to Mandy, her face calm until she heard the girl's last statements. "Excuse me?! No, why would I associate myself with a Black Knight in such a way. What more..." Aurelia paused, her eyes know displaying a glare, a hint of anger visible for a second. "I'm not like you." Looking down at Mandy's attire disgust flew across her features, adding fuel to the fire of emotions she was still feeling...and suppressing. "Now, get changed. I believe I have something for you to do, a perfect punishment for someone as dirty as you." Turning to Riku she didn't change, her voice still strained with anger from Mandy, her fever flaring now. "And, you still owe me D-hall. Now, that time will be added." Aurelia didn't say by how much, since she did not want to reveal how harsh she was going to judge this.

"For a tree to become tall it must grow tough roots among the rocks." - Friedrich Nietzsche
Astin sat up straight, "No, no its fine. You didn't say anything wrong, I'm just pulling your leg remember I am the Joker." She laughed and ran her hand back through her hair, pushing it back off her face hoping he would fall for it. Her eyes looked down at his outstretched hand and at the little ice shield. Even though he had clearly proved its strength she still picked it up tenderly holding it up to examine it. It was cold and lifeless, something completely unnatural to her. The earth was so full of life as water yet it was like its life was standing still. "It's so dead...water is supposed to be free moving and fast. It's actually the strongest element in my opinion seeing how it can put out a fire, carve through the earth and generate as much power as the wind, though I wouldn't trade my gift for it. In this form its strange."

Jay cleared his throat and he cracked his ten whips against the ground. “Move it, both of you!” He bellowed, his jaw screaming in protest, he knew he over did it. Worse, he had forgotten his pills back at the infirmary. Yet, he tried to not show it though he was sure it was evident to both Mandy and Riku he was in pain, extreme pain.
Mandy rolled her eyes and picked up a blue house coat which went up to mid thigh and slid it on slowly. “Fine, Queen of the Court. Do away with me, but believe me... He is good from what I’ve seen. One of the best I’ve been with.” Chuckling softly she stepped out the door and smiled. “And you are like me, you just haven’t realized it. I can help you if you want.”
Again the crack of ten whips was heard. “Speak not to my Queen in that manner Mandy. Speak not at all; hold thy fool tongue lest I cut it off!” He growled softly as he turned and looked Aurelia in the eyes. “Aurelia, my Queen, would you like me to escort Riku the Rook to D-Hall while you deal with my cousin?”

Riku was nodding at everything she was saying, but her last sentence and tone towards him... was the same as Mandy. He didn't do anything wrong! He got gagged, and literally dragged out here. He hung his head, as his MP3 player shifted songs, and began playing Untitled by Simple Plan. However, he knew what he had done prior, plus this, was against school rules. "Right, I'll be there." He said not making eye contact. He slouched his back and put his hands in his pockets, and slowly stalked off. "A double bust..." He muttered, "Guess I'll see one of you in D-hall, then." He didn't hear anything else as he put on his headphones to listen to whatever else came on during the MP3 player's shuffle. "You are correct." Tai stated looking at his ice shield. "But, like the Elemental Earth has beauty in life, the Elemental Water has beauty in a way that most people overlook, and a certain sadness in it that everyone seems to grasp. Water can only be the form it takes, it can only imitate. The ice your holding is immitating a shield." He stood up and paced around, a way to help him clear his thoughts. "But that's the beauty of it. It's different for everyone. When you look into it, you see a different imitation. It can be changed to fit what it needs to. And to me, it's facinating." He took a block of ice he created, and shaved it into an ice version of himself.
