Lost sat on the bed, he was worried something else would happen while he was asleep.

Sanvi nodded. "But it was so sudden," she said. "And this seems...wrong, somehow. She isn't asleep or anything." This whole thing just seemed wrong to Sanvi. None of it seemed to add up.

It didn't add up to Seraphiel either. That's why she was trying to convince herself that nothing was wrong. She put Spade back on the bed and sat down next to her.

"There's got to be something wrong here," Sanvi said. "Maybe poison, or a drug," she suggested. "I know some that could cause a reaction like that in demons, but I don't know about others."

Lost looked thoughtfull. He was trying to think of how she could have been poisoned. "The bush?" He questioned outloud. It was just a guess.

"Yeah," Sanvi said. "Good thought, Lost! Seraphiel, can you check her hand where she was scratched?" she asked, glad that they might have a lead.

Spade had a small purple scratch that was pink, tender and slightly and barely noticibly swollen around the scratch.

"I'm going to make sure," Seraphiel said and focused her magic. If she found the poison she would draw it into herself like she usually does, since she can handle poisons extremely well.

The poison was light, but it had made the tissue of her brain near her spinal cord swell up to mimick a strange concussion. Spade shifted and shivered slightly.

Seraphiel breathed in and started taking the poison into herself and out of Spade's tissues.

Spade shifted when it was done. She opened her eyes and yawned, she was still tired but not so angry.

"Take care of them," Seraphiel said to Sanvi and darted to the window. She jumped out and spread her growing wings, taking a gentle breeze towards somewhere where she wouldn't be found unless she was looked for.
