*nod* Louisiana has a long way to go to recover from the flooding.
Speaking of disasters, I heard on the news that they pulled a guy out of the rubble in Haiti this week. What a miracle

Yeah, heard something about that on the morning news here. He was saved after what was it 3 weeks of being buried alive in the rubble???
Wow, am amazed with how the human body can surprise people when its put threw really bad situations.

Yeah humans are sometimes amazing in their ability to survive extremes.
We had wild winds here yesterday. How's your power holding up? I had a quick power failure yesterday but it didn't last long.

Yeah, there have been some wind here and a bit more snow to but luckily no power outages. But my laptop is a bit angry at me, or Gaia is having some hiccups with it data for inventory and avis.

My sympathies for you having those glitches. My laptop won't boot after an automatic update of Windows. Grr. Back to the netbook tiny screen. Oh well, it's something. Maybe gaia is having glitches because of Valentines events and Olympics stuff. You know how everything is glitchy everytime gaia tries something new. I hope the glitches stop bothering you today

Yeah, I think they have fixed some of the glitches right now. I have problems with my Laptop from time to time to. It always decided to auto-uploads updates for Anti-Virus program when I get on the Internet right when I am in the middle of something.
It does every now and again update Windows for mine to and it takes forever it seems to finish.

Those auto updates can cause problems. That's what messed up my comp this time. Windows program was corrupted. My computer expert is having a devil of a time trying to get it straightened out. So day 2 with my backup comp.

3nodding I have had to go back and do a system reboot once so far. Sucks to because anything Ive downloaded has to be re-done.

Yup I had to drop off some program disks yesterday to the computer hop since there had to be a total reinstallation of basicv software. Cant' wait to get my comp back. Maybe tomorrow

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my regular comp will work fine. I'll know this morning. Hopefully weather will cooperate so I can actually get to the computer shop. It's unbelievable that we're gonna get our 6th snow of the season.

3nodding It is crazy for us to, we havent gotten this much snow consecuativly in a very long time, perhaps before I was even born.

I'm glad to NOT be complaining about the weather today. It's going back to our normal temps starting today -- 40s -- and up to 50 by weekend. Thank goodness. We need a break from the cold and ice.
Do the weather people predict you're going to get a weather break soon?
