Kya giggled and winked to her friend. "She is all yours Kira." She giggled more, blushing and looking to Meshik. She wondered. "How long will you guys be?" She asked, stroking one of her tails.

Syra looked over at Kira smiling softly and trying not to blush hearing Kya. She wondered what he wanted to talk about.

"Not too long. Will be back before you know it." He said to Kya with a smile and a wink. He turned to Syra. "Will you walk with me down the beach?" He asked her.

Kira smiled back to her and took her hand. He walked down the shoreline with her. "Syra, there's been something on my mind lately. We've traveled the world of Verpsya, fought battle after battle, mission after mission. We've have so many adventures." He swallowed, and stopped walking in his tracks. "Well, my pride usually keeps me from kneeling down to someone like this, but, I love you and.." He knelt down and pulled out his mother's ring. "Marry me?" He said, feeling corny for doing it such an old fashioned way, but he felt accomplished for finally getting to do this. Now all that got him anxious was the answer she'd give.

Syra smiled the whole way down to the shoreline. She looked over at him as he started talking. She was wondering what he was talking about when he said his pride keeps him from kneeling but when she saw him kneel her mouth opened slightly and had to catch her breath. "Oh my god...Kira.." she said softly looking down at the ring and back at him. Some tears started to form as she smiled at him still trying to process this "Y-yes, yes i'll marry you." she said nodding, finally catching her breath. She couldn't believe this was happening but she was so happy that it was Kira who was asking her.

Kira stood back up, his face filled with joy. He took the ring and placed it gently onto Syra's finger. The ring was his mother's wedding and his father gave it to him for when he was ready to ask someone to marry him. He leaned in and kissed Syra on the lips.

Kya's sharp ears flicked, and she quickly covered them with a giggle. "Oh my.." She chided herself for having such good hearing, and the curiousity to keep her ears pointed in the direction they walked. She blushed, looking down. When would Meshik try something like that? She felt like a little girl, thinking such thoughts, and quickly shut up and grew serious.

Syra smiled happily as Kira placed the ring on her finger. She kissed him back and pulled away "I love you too." she said kissing him again.

Meshik was leading Kya into the marketplace for now so Kira and Syra could have some privacy. When they were ready and looking for him then he will go and find them.

[[sry 4 the late post, i was away 4 a few days]] DarkKnight-DarkRose Divine Monkey Matt stepped back. "What, is it the brass goggles?" Chuckling soon afterwards, he bowed, and nodded. "Nice to meet you then. What about you, sand scraping madame?" It was an introduction, and a gesture of friendship. Melonie looked at her feet, hands behind her back as she toyed with the sand with her foot. She staid silently. Aegina blushed then giggled. "You can call me Aegina." She said. She then put one hand on her hip and then then poke his chest with her other hand. "What about you, Mr. Brass Goggles?" Aegina said teasingly.

Meshik was occupying his mind with visions from various places and times while they walked. He knew he wouldn't be able to stop himself from looking at Kira's proposal later, but for now he wanted those two to have their privacy. He glanced at Kya with hazed eyes and smiled a little before resuming his vision viewing.
