I get up, staring him down. "Killing people, dying, fine with me, but being blind, not okay with me. I don't do things unless i know certain things, like what the hell we have to do. Is there some kind of, what, big bad guy who we have to kill? Is this some righteous mission of sorts? I don't like it, I don't like being blind and trusting my life in someone I hardly know, not your Jairn, you have proven your worth as a comrade, but this Drako, Axel says to trust him, but I don't know yet."

I look at him. "Things have changed, the world itself has more enemies, more things to watch out for. I heard the lessons from Axel, you knew your enemy, whether it was Death, the lycans, the VIRUS, you knew, even Vincent and you knew your enemies. I just want to know what I will be fighting, what could possibly need our attention?" I sigh, and sit. "Look, I don't care what you went through, but I have had life changing alterations in all but a few months, I just re-learned my life, come on!"

I look at him. "Intel is good, lets go see for ourselves what is in store for us." I put the two artifacts in my pockets. Separated they would do nothing but be, together things always happened. I watch Jairn. "Why is it, that I only got so much time with my father, he is gone already, I, its hard for me to come to grips with what is happening. Lets get on with this." I make a 'you first' gesture.

I gape at him. "You should shut up, what the hell is your problem?! Can you just be nice to us for, maybe, two minutes!" He was getting annoying. I pull out the cross again. "And why is your name on this stupid thing!" I throw it at a tree, and it bounces off and on the ground. It started glowing again, this time a black like glowing, darkness leeching off of it. "Oops"

I look at him. Then get up and pick up the artifact. So, it could absorb energy? That could be even more useful. I look at him. "You should be nicer to the man whom's body you are using. Maybe you could form a relationship! You know, be friends and stop bickering, be nice to eachother, and get along, so you aren't in such a bad mood." I say it in a sage like voice, my finger pointed up like I am making a statement of great value.

"Piss off?" I shake my head. Grrr. "You should be quiet." I look around. "Um, I need to do something, want to come with?" I would need some help. "I, um, have to get something, from a guy..."

I sigh and head out. I walk the streets with my head thinking about things, and come upon the rundown apartment building. I open the door and look at the doorman. I gulp. The burly man was no human, I could tell now, I had thought him to be one a while back, but now... He stares me down. I just walk to the desk. "I am looking for Nicholas, is he in?" He nods ay me, and hits the button, and I go through. I find apartment 27b and knock. A scruffy man with long hair, and an unkempt beard answers. He gapes at me. I hold up my mailed hand. "I want what you took from me." He smiles.

"back for more, eh? I see someone doesn't learn." I snicker. "What's so funny?" I grab his arm, and twist it so he flops on the floor in the hall. I sit on him. "Hey, get off, you will regret this!" I laugh, and pick him up and throw him across the hall. The door man yells and starts running towards me, two long sword like appendages showing up in place of his hands. Oh crap! I jump off and into the apartment. I shuffle around looking for my ring. Come on, come on. I find it, and turn to see the door man standing looking down at me. Gulp. "Hey, I just needed this, I will be going now." He grabs me and forces the ring from my hand. Thats it... I kick his neck, and he coughs, dropping me. I get up, ring in hand. He recovers, and swings at me. I jump and run to the door. I feel the air move around me, and I stop. Three large stone like structures fly by my head, embedding themselves in the wall. "I knew I needed help."

"You should have thought twice, human." I sigh. Turning around, I grab the cross, and throw it, it buries itself in his stomach. He growls, and I run at him, jumping and coming down on his head with my foot. I grab the cross, nod at Nicholas, and run out. I get back to the camp some time later, enough cash to help us with supplies like food, and clothes and things. I drop it in the knapsacks, and sit next to the river, looking at the water.
