"How are the new breeds coming along?" Ranquebus Wyndtalon peered into the dank cell, his cruel golden eyes gleaming in the torchlight. "Th-th-they're all r-r-r-ready, my general," the demon mage stammered nervously. "W-w-without any e-emotions, and with e-e-enhanced bodies as well as the n-n-newest hellfire s-s-spells, these are the u-ultimate w-weapons..." "Very well. Release it now." "Wh-wh-what?? Y-you c-c-can't be s-serious! The thing w-would r-r-rip us apart!" Ranquebus turned, and stared at the mage flatly. Glared into submission, the mage obediently pulled a rusty lever on the wall. Growls immediately could be heard from within the cell. "Oh~?" Ranquebus chuckled. "It's hungry..." Suddenly, a large shadow twice the size of him sprang towards Ranquebus violently. Reacting immediately, the general grabbed the thing by its neck, and with a violent snap, the shadowy mass went limp. Ranquebus laughed, the evil noise echoing throughout the dark hallways...

Suntsui Dealthi sat on a log, quietly munching on his apple that was so rudely returned to him by that despicable girl. "Here, Purity" he whistled, as Purity obediently came trotting over. "You know, I learned something today." He commented dryly, looking over his apple. "Life is like an apple. One moment, you're munching along happily, and another, you're sharing it with a human girl. Then the next thing you know, some crazy girl shoves it right back in your face," Dealthi sighed. "And I had so politely asked her to talk with me after the fight..." He stood up, dusting off his tunic. "Anyways, I'm so glad that this assignment is over. Now I can finally get back to my villa and take a nice long ba-" "Sirr..." a weak voice groaned somewhere in the bushes. Dealthi walked over. It was his second in command, trapped in a pit and impaled by spikes. "Hellpp mee sirrr..." it implored piteously. "Here," Dealthi chuckled, tossing it the apple. "Have an apple." Earth, swallow, he thought. The pit magically closed back up like a mouth closing after a yawn, and the demon was no more. Dealthi checked to make sure his armor was still on Purity's back. Sighing, he mounted, and closed his eyes. "How about we go home now, girl?" Purity whickered in agreement. Soft tongues of white flame licked around the two, as they soon disappeared into the now quiet night. [[@ Kikyo: ooc: OH! I'm sorry for neglecting your last demon... sweatdrop but you handled it admirably]] ((I think this post killed my brain...Either that or I'm too tired... and no problem! ^^))

Kuro took his hands off of Marianna as her wounds were now sealed. "I suppose you're expecting your payment?" He asked.
"Well that would be nice." Kaleel nodded.
Kuro tossed Kaleel a bag filled with a nice sum of gold. "I just can't believe my own apprentice would do such a thing. Make people sick and then heal them for profit."
"I didn't take healers as the kind of people that would call upon the aid of an assassin." Kaleel said tossing the bag up and down in his hand.
"I tried exposing him. But he became such a renowned doctor that everyone thought of me as some crazy old man. As a healer it is my duty to end such plagues. And unfortunately my apprentice was the source of much suffering."
"Well the deed is done. He won't make any more people sick." Kaleel said. "But I'd like to stay here a bit and watch over this girl." He said.
"It's strange Kaleel you don't seem to go out of your way in order to save someone's life.
"What do you mean? I save plenty of people by killing a certain one." He set the bag down beside him. "Besides, I owe her a favor."

As Luek was running he found kikyo was fightign with someone and watched from apon a rooftop. "..damn they have moved quickly.." He said quietly.

 Marrianna saw nothing but darkness and felt nothing but cold. "Fantastic..." She growled sarcastically to herself in the darkness. "I help somebody out and look where it gets me! Now, I'm going to die! Wait... What if I'm already dead!? Just my luck!" From the darkness, she soon felt a subtle warmth which grew into a radiating heat. "Oh that's nice... Please tell me that's not hell I'm starting to feel!" Light returned to Marrianna's world as she sat up straight as a board, drenched with sweat. She took a quick survey of her surroundings and noticed that she was in a tent. "Wha?" She looked to her right to see Kaleel. "Hey you." She said with a grin. "Looks like you've just returned that favor you owed me, eh?"
/ooc= I have this sudden urge to bring in one of my evil characters. Would you mind that Souls?/

Kikyo sat in her tree, and looked out at the town. she then notice Luke on a roof top.
'At least Luke is O.K for now...' she thought.

Kaleel grinned and nodded. "We're even now." He said. "Don't move too much or your wounds will reopen."
After he regained himself Relgan walked to his home which was miraculously not very destroyed. He took the sword hilts and placed them on a table. "I can't believe it...after so long of being in perfect shape he just crumbled them like that." The only place that made swords like that was back in his fallen kingdom. It seemed that he would just have to find a new set of something else.

The general looked over the encampment, wind blowing gently about him. The sky was darkened by smoke from the multitude of cooking fires, but none of it dared approach him. A force of about a hundred lesser demons, with a troop of 10 goliaths, this expedition party was partially experimental, to observe the battle capabilities of the new breed. They would rip into the battlefront into a partially deserted area of the Kujin empire, level a few towns, and then pull back. Simple. Ranquebus turned around, a scowl on his face. What a waste of time, he thought. The other generals should have approved my request for a full scale army, but instead, that Dealthi persuades them to only leave me with this measly little 'experimental' force. He snarled into the night. But even with this troop, I shall take the Kujin Empire to its knees...

Marrianna wrapped her arms around her mid-section. She was hurting, a lot. But atleast she wasn't dead. Marrianna looked to her left and wasn't expecting to see someone else. This surprise caused her to shriek and fall to the ground, bumping her head. I swear the universe is trying to kill me! She got to her knees and asked. "Who are you?"
