"I think I'm capable enough to answer my own door. Now why don't we talk about this? I mean, I only did to you what you asked of me, or do you not remember?"

Neko closed the door after Ishira, staring Reeve down, and glancing behind him for a fraction of a second, his calculating eyes looking at the back of his neck before staring him back down. He wasn't in a fighting stance, his body rigid and arms folded on his chest.

Ishira stayed back, her fists balled. She shook but not just in anger or fear. At the sight of Adara, she had grown weaker, grown more inpatient.... Her control was running very thin. When Adara fell she wanted to run to the girl, but she stayed just inches behind Neko, as if he was the wall keeping her from him. With him in front of her, she would wait, she wouldnt act on emotions. The sight of him, reminded her to not act on emotions, though they raged.

" 'We're working on that'...." That particular statement seems to incense him as much as the rest. "I remember everything, you son of a b***h! How dare you try to write it off on Lina! God only knows which little village you'd have me glassing right now were it not for her! And I don't give a s**t what Dalcon did. He's a child!"

Neko didn't scoff, though it would've fit.

"Did you ever consider that's why he sought me out? Because you 'don't give a s**t about him'? Is that why Sarya left you, and abandoned her own child with someone who isn't even blood? I am cold, but at least I take responsibility for what I bring into this world, and for those I care about. Though, I can see it's part of who you are. Ingrained in your personality. You always want to take the shortcut, the easy route, to better yourself, to protect those close to you.

He continued to speak calmly. There was obviously emotion behind the words, but he didn't lose his temper, or put any extra edge on his already sharp words.

"If a man is entitled to the sweat of his brow, then you should have nothing. How is it someone so cowardly can create a family, while others, who work until they sweat blood, are cursed to be alone?"

Reeves outburst caused Ishira to flinch. She moved right up to Nekos side now, ready to jump in front and protect him if needed. She wanted to look at Adara, wanted so badly to snatch her away.... But she needed to be there with Neko. She was his student, she would protect him, even though she knew she had no strength to.. A growl fit for a beast rumbled from her throat and her ears went back. Her eyes became sharp slits again, as she felt the fox in her getting ready to fight.
"Adara get away from him!" Her voice was commanding. She knew Reeve was a danger, and she wasnt about to let him take control of her.

Adara stared wide eyed as she watched Ishira. She was being protective, Adara could feel the in struggle. Ishira wasnt in to position for any type of battle but she protected this man.... She could feel Ishiras inner beast coming out, and it scared her. Ishira was willing to die? She looked up at Reeve, his appearance fightening.

"Nyl would damn you for your crimes. But the work, the sweat, falls to me."

Giving a warning hiss to Ishira, Reeve darts at Nekojiri, sword held low for a stab to the gut.

Neko began to move, but quickly stopped as Ishira threw herself at Reeve. His grin quickly faded as he moved back to his relaxed stance, though his feet were staggered, now, left toe pointing right towards Reeve.

"Ishira..."

He said with a sigh.

"I'm perfectly capable of handling myself, now try to control yourself. As long as Reeve is weak enough to tap into his anger, I can best him with little effort. I'm sure the same would apply to you. Think, don't act."
