She smiled, looking shy a bit. When Seisuke returned, she smiled a bit more brightly. "Thank you very much, Seisuke-ona." she said softly. Unsure of whether or not she had offended this new person, she decided to remain silent for the moment.

Charis nods and looks down, putting her portion of tea. Without looking up she opens her box of food, taking small bites of the offered pasta. As the flavors flood her mouth, she blinks slowly, waiting to decide whether or not she likes this new food. Finally she seems to like it, taking bite after bite in silence. Once the box is empty she places her eating utensils down, slipping beneath the water just long enough to clean up. When shes convinced that shes clean, she resurfaces.

"I hardly know where to begin, Seisuke-ona. I wish not to offend Miss Charis." she said softly, bobbing her head a bit as she looked between the two.

"I am Ziven .. my heritige is half dragon, half elf .. I love reading and learning .. I love having friends and being able to provide." she ssaid softly, looking very shy still, maintaining polite eye contact with both. When she finished speaking, she again lowered her head slightly, to show respect for whomever would speak next.

Although still uncertain as to her standing with Ziven, Charis speaks up first, her heritage being somewhat simple even if the history is long. She glances over at Seisuke maintaining eye contact for only a few moments before she turns most of her attention to the other girl. He might find her answer interesting, after all she never told him where she was originally from. "I am... Atlantean... we like to sing, communicate. Most of our heritage is orally kept and preserved."

*he soon followed by doing the same as hers* Im Seisuke, i come from the land of the rising sun . Japan. My heritage is one that is deeply engraved in my heart and in my honor. I have travelled asia and other continent in seeking not only knowleger but understanding of the world around us

"Lovely! Singing is an important part of the elves culture also, though I find it intriguing and amazing to use song as a primary point of history." she said cheerfully, smiling brightly, looking completely impressed and eager to hear more.

Charis stops in mid-action, both of her hands stilling from what they had been doing, sweeping her hair back off of her shoulders. She glances over to Seisuke, silently seeming to ask for some kind of permission. With a nervous flicker in her eye she gives a great swish of her tail, propelling her body up and backwards to perform a large jump back into the deeper part of her temporary home. When she resurfaces her hair has been slicked back away from her face by the water. "Would... would you like some entertainment akri?"

Showing a nervous smile, she bowed her head slightly as Charis left the shores. Feeling unsure if she had offended her, she decided to maintain her modest distance between them, not wanting to upset her more if she had.

He blinks to the sudden shyness that filled the area. Not only by Charis but, by Ziven also. Having put the bentos neatly aside, he nodded speaking in calm usual manner* Charis you could entertain us anymoment you wish, i apreciate you asked my permission though. Ziven come closer now is not the time for both to be shy. You both are great people. *He smiled and looked at both for a second before waiting for Charis to act.*

Thinking that she did something to make Ziven upset, the mermaid swims a bit closer to the banks. For a few moments she ponders what she should do, until the inspiration fills her head. Its a peaceful afternoon, not too hot nor too cold, its sunny out and there's pleasant company.
Charis's one eye closes, she takes a deep breath and starts to sing in her native tongue. Although still the volume of her song is not loud, it is stronger than her speaking voice. Fueled both by confidence and by her own birth given power. As she sings, both Ziven and Seisuke would become aware of a sense of peace and well being.

Ziven smiled brightly as Charis began to sing, feeling much more relaxed, her doubts melting. If there was anything that shown her trust, it was song. Smiling, she bowed her head respectfully, listening despite not understanding.

Not clapping until she finished her singing he smiled with a bright smile towards charis. He already heard her singing once and now twice was just as good or maybe better than the last time, he was enjoying it
