*laughs maniacally over Chaos's strip.* Great one, Chaos. Absolutely great. The sad thing is, Rinoa was soo much better with two wings. And why did Sephiroth need another one, anyway. He was strong enough to hold back the White Materia, which was quite a feat, I should say. Eh, whatever. It is still cool. Nice artwork, IMO. I should look up more stuff by teh artist.

Actually, I would think that it would be the Avatar of Light's job to keep up a pure image and fight teh darkness. Why? Because that is what light does!

The Avatar of Water would probably be more for keeping the peace. Earth would probably just be...there?...
Fire would probably want war, lots of war.
And Air...well...air is strange indeed.... sweatdrop

The problem with this image as water as a peacekeeper is that water can be one of the most destructive forces around. There are things such as tsunamis, monsoons, floods, whirlpools, storms, hurricanes.... All of those have a lot to do with water, yanno. I was thinking of making a priest of water, and by no means did I plan on having him be a peacekeeper. Not necessarilly a raging destructive villain, but one who would emulate quick, fluid judgement and reprisal.

Though I will be so very happy if I can ever bring myself to bring my secondary character in. He lurks in the back of my mind. Just not sure how well he would go over. **Nods Sagely**

Hey, wait...

I recall a game once where one could equip crests to gain more elemental magic. Magic crests could even be combined...like fire and earth. You'd get a fire/earth magic mix. But what happened when a fire crest was equiped with an ice crest?

You'd get none of the elemental spells from either crest, just a single spell of non-elemental damage. I think it was called Nega-burst or something else generic like that.

Point is, what if there's an element that's a mix of all elements, and that be neutral? I figure the avatar of light would in fact uphold peace, but would an avatar of darkness really want to create chaos all the time? And even then, there might be a need for an element who would uphold neutrality. See, water may not be a good idea because it is opposite of fire, because...well they sorta do oppose.

But that's just me...and I dunno what we'd even call that element.

That sounds alot like the equip magic system of Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. It might be in Lunar 1 as well, but I have never played taht one. I just know that you equiped a crest of each element and sometimes it would give a non-elemental spell. I do not remember what it was called either.

But then again, a Non-Elemental Spell class would be difficult. It would be somewhere in between the others. Also, while it would be neutral, it probably would not really be counted so much as magic....

Because it requires a combination of all elements to forge something of none...I think?

VT, your a fan of the game "Shadow Hearts" arnt you? At least I think that was the name of it. I just remember Fox-Face being in it. He was great, exceptionally so.

As for the Spell list, I quess it would be possible. It should not be too hard to create a list with no elemental focus...

Regardless, on a secondary note, anyone intereasted in possibly helping me out with a siggy? I have no talent for drawing in any form or fashion. And while I could do a crappy job of CG'ing something, I do not have the proper program that I mastered. crying
