Richard smiled and kissed her a few times. "Good morning my queen..." He joked softly, caressing her face. "Did you sleep well?" He asked, pulling her closer to him.
Raquel had hardly slept herself, spending a majority of the night lost in her own thoughts, in one stationary position. She wasn't sure if she was upset, angry, or guilty. Damian did have a point ,but that didn't stop her form still feeling a little dejected. Butt she pushed those thoughts out of her mind to focus on how to, as Damian put it, 'handle it' all. She heard giggling through her wall and figured Richard and Lorey were awake and smiled. At least someone's doing ok... she thought to herself with a sigh. Trinity had spent most of the night curled up on Raquel's chest, purring the night away. Raquel smiled again when the little cat awoke with a yawn, a stretch, and a soft mew.

Lorey smiled. It was wonderful to smile first thing in the morning...
"I'm your fiancee, not your queen," she whispered, eyes closed to concentrate on his touch. "But yes, I did. What about you, you sleep alright? Any dreams?"
Damian stood stiffly from his chair, and headed back into the house. It would have been nice to see Trinity, he thought. Such a handsome little cat, even if she did only have three legs. Not like she couldn't function with only three. It was like Trinity was the embodiment of all their lives: life had taken away parts of them, perhaps taken off one of their legs, and yet they still kept functioning like they were whole.
Damian knew he wasn't, though.

Richard smiled. "Just little flighty things here and there...nothing extremely tangible...I honestly thought that last night was a dream..." He laughed a little, still buzzing from last night. "But how bout we force ourselves out of bed and tell the others?" He asked, kissing her nose.

"I think we should."
And without warning, she scooted right over him and out of bed. No sooner were her two feet on the floor that she grabbed his hand and started tugging him nearly right out from the blankets.
"Come on, come on!" Lorey laughed.

Richard laughed as he was pulled, making sure to put on a big show jokingly stumbling like she was far stronger than him. "Ok ok, hold your horses!" He laughed as they headed to the hall and towards the kitchen to see if anyone was awake. "Damian? Raquel? You up! Come here!" he called smiling widely, wrapping his arms around Lorey lovingly.

Damian poked his head out from the kitchen, looking rather ragged but curious.
"Is something wrong?"
"No, no, just come out here!" Lorey said, hugging Richard's arms to her with all her strength. She'd never looked so happy before, Damian saw. It was... sudden, from what they'd all been through.
Once he was situated in front of them, he had to crack some kind of joke. "Did you get a job promotion already?"

Richard laughed a little, though more out of nervousness all of a sudden. "Where's Raquel, we want to tell her as well." IT was then that Raquel sauntered out, yawning and holding Trinity in her arms.
"here I am!" She said with a stretch. "Good morning all..." She let Trinity down who made it a point to rub against everyone in the room half a dozen times before settling to play with Damian's pant leg. Raquel walked behind the couch where Damian was sitting ,leaned down and kissed him on the cheek. "Morning darling..." She said softly, acting as if nothing were wrong. She then turned her attention to Lorey and Richard. "Now what is all this excitement about anyhow?" She asked, cocking her head.
Richard smiled and gave a look to Lorey and nodded, giving her the go ahead to tell them all.

Needless to say, Damian was very, very confused. They'd just been practicslly screaming at each other the night before, and now he was getting a kiss? Trinity distracted him for a moment, thankfully, by jumping upon his lap and settling right down. Even with one paw, she was able to contentedly claw at his kneecap, making him wince every now and then.
Lorey seemed fit to bursting as she slowly showed the beautiful ring upon her finger, all blue in the morning light.
"We're engaged."

Raquel's eyes lit up and her mouth dropped as she let out a small shriek, running over to embrace Lorey excitedly. "That's fantastic news! My god! Congratulations!!" She cried, jumping up and down, her eyes watering slightly. She took her hand and oohed and ahhed over the lovely ring, giggling incessantly.
Richard laughed nodded and blushed, standing back a bit, letting the girls do their thing.

While Lorey joined Raquel in their giggling and chattering, Damian sat rather struck. Engaged? Had they really truly found each other that perfect that they were making plans to live together and truly create a life together?
It made him feel obligated to propose to Raquel almost...
But that would not work. He knew they were nowhere near ready to go that far. Or so he thought, at least.
Regardless, he gently prodded the cat off his leg and stood to shake Richard's hand.
"If you need any help..." he trailed off.

Richard nodded and met the shake with a smile. "Thanks...But I think we'll be fine..." He smiled over at Lorey dreamily. Yes as a couple they'd be just fine, but monetarily...well Richard would figure that out on his own. He didn't want Damian to have to buy them everything as usual.
Though Richard,taking a look at Damian, noticed he looked ragged and exhausted. "...How are you and Raquel?" He asked, referring to the yelling the previous night as he led Damian a step or two away from the girls.

It was a difficult question to answer. Having no time to ask her anything about it or even apologize, Damian was almost sure they were on bad terms... but then she had kissed him.
"Honestly," he said in a low voice. "I don't know." There was actually something like fear in his voice.
Lorey told Raquel about how they were waiting for a bit, until everything would be settled, how he had proposed and how she had sworn it was a dream when she had woken up. She laughed, and seemed so wonderfully happy that Damian felt that much more ashamed of their conflict the night before.

Richard studied his face, then looked over to Raquel, not noticing anything but the kiss she had given him just a bit ago. He couldn't think of much to say, so instead he placed his had on Damian's shoulder nodding encouragingly. "Knowing you two...it'll work out..." He said with a small smile, hoping to help Damian feel a little better.
Raquel let Lorey go on, her eyes sparkling as she laughed and nodded with Lorey, taking her hands and laughing occasionally, feeling utterly happy for the two. "Oh now THIS is another reason to celebrate! How about Champagne for breakfast!" She joked, giddy as Lorey was by now. "Damian isn't this lovely news?!" She exclaimed, smiling at him.

"Y-yes, lovely!" he said, all of a sudden playing on the uptake with an almost nervous fervor. Without any hesitation, he went over to his stash of personal bottles and brought out one for each of them, happily spreading congratulations as he did so.
And, just like the previous night, he held up his little bottle for a toast.
"To the happy couple!"
Lorey was already giddy on her own happiness, so this champagne certainly wouldn't have any effects. Besides, she had to run to the shop for things that day. She'd have to look very nice for her meeting, she knew.

Raquel only had a small sip before setting it back down, taking a seat, neatly folding her hands in her lap.Lorey you just seem to be a source of all sorts of good news recently. I wish that would rub off on me!" She joked, smiling at the glow that Lorey held. Raquel held this strange upbeatness about her, not that it was artificial, but she just seemed strangely...pleasant? not happy buts soemthing close to it.
Richard gladly took a bottle only having a few sips himself. He was in a good mood too, though had only one question. "So what do we do now? I know Lorey has to get ready for her interview, and I'll probably be off trying to find Enty to tell him the good news, and then go check on the ship and make sure they docking fees are paid." He said, making a mental checklist in his head.
