Shatter the thoughts that reign supreme.
With a reigning light, a powerful gleam.
Shatter the freedom that comes with the sky... (( stare Resisting... urge... to rant... and rave... until I... turn... effing... BLUE.)) Falian screamed as Reign collapsed on top of her, pinning her legs and quite possibly breaking one. "REIGN!" Queenie doubled back and dashed for her. "NO!" Suddenly a massive burst of wind blew from behind Queen, slicing the Shadows to ribbons and allowing Reign to scramble up and dash away, her back legs having severe limps. Queenie picked up Falian and Regond - that made three humans and one bird she was carrying. Floreta was there in front of them, her hand outstretched and her face set in stone. From her back burst brilliant butterfly wings, identical to Alhiria's. "GET OUT OF HERE!" She cried, waving her hands. Inside the great forest, a massive tornado began to form, heading towards the Shadows and separating them from Reign and the others. Staggering, Reign fought against whatever pain there was and pushed forward. "We can use some HELP here!" She cried to Narissa and Damacus, her voice ragged as she struggled to keep up with Queenie, and utterly failed. Falian noticed her Guardian was lagging. "Reign!" Leaping from Queenie, she threw Regond to Shef and attempted to dash to Reign. She failed, collapsing onto her knees and letting out a cry of pain. It felt like her knee had been crushed. Queenie skid to a stop, whirling to chase after the girl. "HEY!" Queenie barked, getting in between her and the tornado and Marina forced the girl back onto the fox's back. "Are you some sort of idiot!" "REIGN!" Falian called as the Guardian stumbled. "GO!" Reign roared. "GO! I'll be fine! LEAVE!" Queenie, obeying Reign and ignoring Falian's protests, turned and dashed away as the tornado continued to cut into the earth.  You know death has come when time is an eye.

Kiki struggled and lifted herself onto this tree branch, with luck she didn't slip on the moss, and ran away from the shadow. Kiki was safe, so she thought- and free from the shadow.
Kiki slid down the branch and tried going after the group.

((Excellent work. 3nodding I had a rescue plan, but you seen to be doing fine, so...))
The shadows watched the tornado. They watched large fractions of their numbers get sliced up, and they watched the wolf, urging her allies to move forward without her. And then, one of them exploded into a fiery black plume, revealing a man... a very young man. He stepped forward and grinned at the wolf.
"The wolf is noble. A tornado hinders us from our target." he said quietly. The shadows nodded in agreement.
"A tornado hinders us from our target." he spoke again, "You have all failed me."
He held up his hand and snapped his fingers. There was silence... and then every shadow, including the one chasing after Kiki, was gone, banished into nothingness for eternity.
"We will withdraw for now." he mumbled, "I want to watch them further."
And with a thin wisp of darkness, the man was gone. The shadows were gone, and the group was safe... for now.

With releif Kiki noticed the Shadow had gone, but she had a small bruise on her side.
Ah well.
Kiki was now a bit ahead of the group, so she veered to the side, and got to a solitary branch. She skipped across it, and dove like one would dive off a poolside down to the ground.
In a matter of seconds Kiki Was in front of the group, landing on her hands, and backflipping onto her feet. She placed her hands on her hips, and gave them a smug little grin.

Shatter the freedom that comes with the sky... ((Thank you. ^_^ Floreta's awesome when she has to be.)) Floreta rushed to the others as they skid to a stop, the immediate danger gone. "Are you all right?" She called to Reign as she ran over to the wolf, who was doing her best to remain upright. Her back legs could barely support her. "I'm fine," Reign snapped. "Just... fine..." Breathing heavily, she managed to go over to Falian, who was being looked at by Queenie and Marina. Shef had yet to say anything. "Falian..." she panted, nudging her Guarded, who was wracked with pain. She looked over to Queenie. "How is she?" Queenie's eyes narrowed. "Her knee and shin are crushed," she stated simply. "She needs medical attention and she needs it now." Reign sighed, nudging Falian softly. "Falian..." she breathed. "I'm so sorry..." She collapsed next to her Guarded. Falian opened her eyes, and looked over at Floreta as the shy girl kneeled down next to her. "Floreta..." Falian breathed. "Why aren't you with Alhiria?" Floreta smiled softly, taking Falian's hand in hers. "Because," she breathed. "You needed me. I had Alhiria drop me off before we got too far away, and I used my powers to rush over here." Falian returned the smile. "Floreta..." she breathed. "You saved us." She nodded. "Thank you." Then she passed out, her grip on Floreta's hand failing. Floreta looked up to the remaining Guardians. "Come on," she stated as Marina helped the unconscious Falian onto Queenie's back. "Alhiria's waiting at the edge of the forest. Let's go." You know death has come when time is an eye.

Shef had yet to say anything because whoever had been carrying had dropped him in some bush somewhere a ways back. Now no one knew where he was, and the wolf with the capable tracking senses was impaired and incapacitated.
Now, who was the only other person, not necessarily a Guardian, who knew this wood inside and out?

((I wish people would leave me alone so I would stop missing everything *fuming*)) Narissa slithered up with the group, feeling awkward and off-balance with Holly gone. "I'll carry Falian and Reign," she offered. Her size almost guaranteed that the two wouldn't be a burden, and she wouldn't let them slip off either.
Holly waited with Alhiria at the edge of the Sylstern, hoping that teacher or instructor or whatever would hurry so she could fix her hand. It was starting to grow numb, making her both relieved and scared at the same time.
Damascus bounded up with Harlin on his back, stopping a ways behind the group. "We seem to be missing someone," he noticed. His photographic memory insisted that there was at least one more person, but he couldn't tell what had happened and he wasn't sure Damascus was too familiar with his scent in order to track him down.

The only other person, who wasn't neccasarily a guardian, who knew the woods inside out lay across a tree branch, legs dangling over the edge.
She was bored with these people. They looked like they had no intention to go to earth anytime soon, and from the looks of it they couldn't be stolen from. At least some of them were cute- but stupid- otherwise she would have already tricked them out of their clothing, well, that wouldn't stop her,
but she probably would have tried to get rid of them by now.
The lot of them Seemed Like easy targets.
I mean, she had an instinct for trickery growing up with a monkey guardian, granted he dresses in armour occasionally.
Not to mention if things got too out of hand she could just bolt [no pun intended] out of there. She was gifted with flexibility, dexterity and speed.
Of course a few of the guardians looked like they could catch up, but humanly she had learned to climb trees at least fourteen times faster than any of this gang.
She'd have to avoid the birds.
Kiki looked down towards them, they were all so, oblivious, to what she was thinking. Sizing them up.
Hm.
Kiki rolled over to her stomach, and rested her hand upon her chin.
She lifted her legs at the knee and searched each and every one of them over.
The two girls seemingly attached to eachother didn't seem to have much to them.
Nor did the others. Nevermind. Woe is her.
She sighed heavily, and waited for something.
Something, intresting.
