Amaranta sat back, leaning against a nearby tree. she didn't bother stopping the tears.

The mark on Dante slowly receded and he came to. "Wait what?! I'm not dead?!" he exclaimed as he placed his head in his hands. "That's right this curse makes me suffer...as much as possible." He began to cry.

Amaranta looked up. When she realized that Dante wasn't dead, she sprung up and hugged him.

Dante sighed and dried his tears. "I don't care anymore....leave me out here take me inside I don't care..." he said.

Amaranta helped him inside. she went into the kitchen and retrieved a glass. she filled it with water and walked back to Dante. "Here, you should drink something." she said.
