'She's psychic, she's gotta be!' His narrator voice said loudly while he scratched his head. "I'm assuming you're trying to make some kind of insult to counter my bad joke because you didn't get that the improper speech went with it? That's impression I get, anyways." He really didn't like all this insulting and hate that was in the air right now, but he was fed up with it right now and needed to let it out so he could be prepared for the next round of fighting... Which he guessed was going to happen the instant he caught his breath from making his statement. He also thought that he was going insane because now his life was being narrated out like an episode of Scrubs with his inner self pulling at nerve ends whenever he did something.

"I assume that anyone who would mistake heroin, a drug derived from the opium poppy plant, for heroine, a female protagonist, would be slightly ill in the head, wouldn't you agree?" Teresia snapped. She was honestly getting sick of fighting with him and ran through as many plans for her own death as she could, but then she realized that hardly any of them were feasible, so she groaned inwardly.

'How could you tell the difference?! They both sound the same, it's only a spelling difference!' He questioned her reasons for the assumption and ignored the statement, but kept the ill in the head part up for nitpicking. "Well yeah, maybe I am a little messed up mentally, so what? No one really seems to have a problem with it except you, Ms. I'm-too-good-for-anyone-else!" He shot back. At this point he was starting to lose his cool and getting more and more aggresive, which was something he definately didn't want to do. He knew once you made the impression that you could get mad that it stuck forever, and it definately doesn't stick in a good way.

"If I thought I was too good for anyone else, then I wouldn't be here, standing in a forest chatting with you, now would I? Instead I would be cooped up in a pretty little castle with pretty little adornments and attractive servants waiting on me for eternity: all for the sake of my family name and for marriage," she retaliated without losing her composure.

"... Then why aren't you? Maybe then Daddy Dearest could find you some 'real' friends who you can be happy with." He was still fairly angry, but her response made him feel like he had to respond in roughly the same tone, but the mixture of hurt and anger was still there. "It sounds like you're just using us to escape your own fate at home."

"Because I don't feel like going back," Teresia countered childishly, "plus, there really aren't any guys who'd want to marry a girl like me. I'm a bit of an outcast, you see. A vampire who doesn't enjoy killing? A vampire with morals? A girl who's willing to get herself dirty and help others? This kind of person is considered to be a radical, almost dangerous. My family would never understand my reasons, except maybe for Brother or Grandfather."

'Wait... What?! She just totally tried to turn this from an arguement to a pity session, strike while the opportunity's there!' He almost thought about listening to his inner narrator, but decided that for now he'd play the situation softly and see where this was going. "That's all fine and good but out here that doesn't mean anything. The world's a mess all because of who has pointy ears, pointy fangs, and pointy attitudes with pointy fur. So radical or not out here you're just... Teresia, not some freak show who can't catch a guy." '*Sigh* Why don't I ever listen to me?'

Why do I have the feeling that he thinks I'm trying to throw a pity party? Teresia thought to herself, confused. "... a freak show who can't catch a guy? I seriously haven't the foggiest idea what you're talking about. I mean, I agree, I am a freak show, but who am I trying to catch?" she asked, honestly startled by his accusation.

"Oh forget it." He sighed and shook his head. He was so lost at this moment that all of his rage and anger had vanished. He was more than likely just as confused as she was, so he popped the first question he could think of. "Why is it impossible for either of us to not get mad at each other for more than five minutes?" 'What?! That's weak! Show her you've got some backbone and tell her like it is!' He hit himself on the back of the head to shut up his narrator and acted like it was perfectly normal; he'd now completely lost his mind.

"I honestly don't know. Maybe it's because you seem like an uncaring jerk most of the time?" Teresia suggested and sighed. "But seriously, who am I trying to catch?"

"Maybe that's because most of the time I am caring, I just suck at showing it? I dunno." He picked up Syke sand hugged her, realizing how paranoid he was about his dragon that it stopped him from really doing anything. "And really, forget it, there's no significant person you're trying to catch, it was just part of the ramble." He assured. He waited a moment to see if his narrator would give any comment to this. 'Don't look at me; you hit me. I'm done with you for now.'
