Chloe lets out a groan in pain, more tears coming out of her green eyes as she closes one, her face an expression of pain. She couldn't move whatsoever..and she couldn't talk. Something..or rather someone is constricting her vocal chords...so she was even more helpless. What's worse is that she felt like she was on fire, her skin feeling like it was burning, very painfully. She let out a few whimpers in pain, as she inhales sharply and exhales shakily from the pain.
'God dammit...didn't you haven enough already..let me go.....I want...to be with them....I want to be with my friends.....' She pleaded in her mind, looking at all of them.
((Also Cassidy poofed, just so you guys could know. oAo ))

Allen cringed and froze at the Shadow's voice in his head.
"Stop playing me you ******** shadow!"
He stood up slowly and stepped even further away from Kanda, then turned to flee from them. If I don't... Then you and Cass will be hurt by Shift-
He hadn't gotten twenty feet out the door in the rain before he gave out and curled into a tight ball, screaming as two white, dragon-like wings ripped through the skin on his back. They weren't big. Maybe only two feet for each wing.
Blood mixed with the rain and ran off the boy's back, as he stayed there, hunched over, with his face to the ground.
It hurts- It hurts--

No Chloe. I told you I wouldn't put you through any more pain unless you crossed me again, and what did you do? I'm upholding my end of the bargain, so..welcome to hell. He let go of all of her strings temporarily.
This is the last time you'll be free for a long time. Enjoy it.

Chloe was about to say something back when she felt something in her mind. It took her a while to get used to the feeling, her mind wasn't being put under control again. Her skin wasn't feeling like it was burning now, and she was free to move. She turns her head, right after Allen grew his wings...they looked like...bat wings, no...like...something else more than that....dragon...wings. She made her way over to Kanda, somewhat shakily and keeping a few steps away for distance in case he might attack.
She was breathing nervously and she sniffles a bit, a bit of the aftermath from her crying, her tears starting to dry up as well.
However, Domo's last words caused her to be filled with worry, and..fear....she started to go off into her world again, wondering how in the hell is Domo going to fulfill his end of the bargain now. Or maybe..she was better off not knowing.

Kanda's eyes widened from suspicious resignation to shocked amazement. What...? What?! He gazed at the wings. Was this a part of the 14th contract? "Stay back," He warned Chloe, aware of her hovering presence. gingerly he started forwards, "Allen... Answer me. What's happening?" Noahs, Shadows which was Allen becoming?
"That's a good boy," Shift crooned, "It hurts doesn't it? I'm sorry, but if you don't resist, it won't hurt so much-actually it won't hurt at all. Promise. So come Allen, come to me," A wicked grin split on Shift's face, "I'll make the pain go away... I'll make it /all/ go away..."

Chloe looks up at Kanda and nods her head, turning her head towards Allen and his huddling form in the rain. She looks at him with worried eyes.
'Allen.....are you going to be okay...' she asks mentally, although she had a feeling in the pit of her gut that he really wasn't going to be, that...something worse will happen. She gives a small gulp and turns her attention back at Cassidy, who seemed to still be broken down and goes to her, placing both hands on her shoulders, as if to snap her out of her panic like state.
"Cass....come on.......wake up.." She said, although her voice was a bit hoarse from crying and she was sounding shaky as well

Allen sat up and looked at his crew, and to Kanda who stood there for a moment, staring in bewilderment. Then he came closer. "Kanda- Please- Just stay away-" He cried out.
He stood up slowly, swaying, and looked up at Shift. "You made me like this! I'm not going to go with you! Why would I? Even if you claim to be able to make it go away-"
Allen's wide eyes narrowed a bit. There's no way that I will go with him-
His back was still bleeding, and his white hair clung to his face in wet strands.
I'm a monster now-
Maybe this was a better thing- Maybe now the fourteenth wouldn't appear. If he could just suppress these... killing urges, maybe he could keep everyone safe from him.
He couldn't take that chance though.
Slowly he began to walk away from everyone, into the rainy fog, hugging himself tightly, his new mutations hanging uselessly from his back. (Mainly because his mind hasn't developed the control for them, yet.)
There's no other way...

Faintly, she could her someone talking to her, and shaking her. She wanted to say she was alright, but that would mean going back to thatplace. She didnt want to. She wanted to fly away, get away from all this pain and fear, but she couldnt. `No matter where you go or what you do, a darkness alwats looms over you` she thought.
She looked at Chloe blankly for a moment before sighing. "Im begining to lose hope, and thats all we have left now." she said, her voice hoarse from the scream and dead.

Chloe growls and she shakes her, hoping that could make her come back to her senses.
"Don't even say that, or EVEN think about that!! We can't give up...we can't...if we do...then we'll all die....." She said to her, her voice starting to break down as well.
She knew that these words were probably not going to go through, because she was also going to have a hard time believing them. Their group was being torn apart, little by little by the Shadows, and sooner or later they'll either end up dead..or...one of them.
She shakes her own head, to free herself from her own thoughts, they can't give up. No...they can't.
'We'll get out of this....we'll get out of this..' She chanted in her mind, like a mantra.

"I never said I was going to give up. I wont give up. Even though all might be lost, I'm going to keep fighting. My heart won't let me give up." Cassiy said, her voice gaining a little strenght, but it still cracked at the end. She could feel tears coming, but she wouldnt let them see her cry. `We've got to be strong.`

She sighs, giving a weak smile and lets go of Cassidy. "Alright..that's good to hear, we can't just keel over and die." She adds on, adding a small nod at the end of her sentence.
She realizes though that Cassidy is the only one here who hasn't been truly affected by a Shadow, and Kanda has only been severely injured by one. Allen and her were the ones the Shadows truly got a hold on. She doesn't let that fact bother her, and Cassidy's word inspired her a little.
She gives Cassidy a quick hug, to show her her support and pulls back as well. Turning her head towards Kanda, she hasn't forgotten about their other two companions. Then when she looks past him, towards the fog, she realizes, that Allen has gone missing.
'Oh no......this can't be good....we can't be seperated..even if Allen has mutated or..whatever....we still need to be close enough to keep an eye on him.
She gulps before asking Kanda, her voice still a bit shaky,"Kanda...what are we going to do now?"

She looked around, noticing too, that Allen had vanished. She faintly remembered Allen getting...wings...from the 'virus.' It was all fuzzy because she was in her own mind at the time.
`This is bad. There has to be a way out of her, and a way to get everyone back safely. But how....` She thought to herself for a few moments but shook her head. To mix with the soreness, she was getting a headache.

Kanda watched Allen stumble away and deliberately turned his head away and sheathed his sword. "We leave. We go to the order and interrogate any shadow that approaches us." Kanda turned and started somberly at Cassidy and Chloe, each in turn. They wouldn't all make it out of here alive, he realized. But no matter, he had to keep them together as the most experianced one here. "...We leave as soon as collect ourselves. Chloe look for something to eat, anything to sustain ourselves. Cassidy, look for any useful items we can take with us, but stay in each other's sights. Don't leave the main room without informing me first. I'll keep a look out for anymore fo those... Shadows."
"Oh Allen Allen... Where are you going? It doesn't matter how far you run. 'Cause in the end it's going to be /you/ who kills them." Shift murmured atop his perch.

"Yes sir." Cassidy said and went behind the counter. The structure was very close to the one back home, the broken one. If it was any the same as that one, there wouldnt be much to find, but it didnt hurt to look.
