Mordatus felt a change. It felt as though something had just awoken, a large number of something. ++ Brothers, ready your weapons, I feel this short peace is about to get even shorter. ++ He stated, making sure his Plasma pistol was ready.

Seeying the Marines raise their weapons gave Alexander the hint that he should be ready aswell, extending his wire weapons again, he jumped on top of a still almost intact crate giving him a +3 to his agility.
Once on top, he stood on the balls of his feet, ready to reacte should anything happen, and looked out on the warehouse.

Mordatus heard the one named Alexander jump from the ground, landing somewhere above them nearby. He would pose an open target to the enemy. However, he might pose a good distraction to the Xenos, allowing him and his group to advance further ahead.

Near the front of the Zergs force, Two Zerglings had gone missing.
Possible causes? Spotanious cobustion, Some random spatial warp, sending them to the sun, or they had fallen down a hole, broken most of their bodies, then been eaten.
That is probably why the Hydralisk in hiding looked enormously sated.
Now that it had had time to think on the matter, it found that zeglings could taste quite alright after being tenderized, and after allowing them to drain properly.
It abestmindedly used on of it's sythe-like appendages to pick a peice of zergling carapace out of it's mandible.
If only It had some mashed Metroids to go with it. It might taste better then ok then.
On second thought, it decided having to deal with Metroids to be a very bad idea. Unless the Metroid was attacking anything but it.
Snapping back to reality, it Could hear movment above it.
So, Having had been the busy, annoying little bugger it was, it somehow managed to smirk as a medium sized section of floor gave way. Not really that big, maybe enough to take out a zergling or two. Possibly three.
It waited for the movment over it to move away, so that it could surface and attack from behind.

Telor felt the awakening as Mordatus had, he looked toward the Librarian.
"Psyker, don't let the Zerg close in on you. While your Marines are strong, they can't withstand constant Zerg pressure from all sides forever. Don't let them get to melee."
He grabbed his eviscerator in his right hand and the Helix Blade in his left.
"I'm going in, don't let them kill the Overlord."
Without waiting for a reply, he charged headlong toward the Zerg.

Mordatus watched as Telor ran toward the Zerg. Wasn't he just doing what he told them not to do? ++ Brothers, maintain distance from the Zerg until I give the Order. ++ He called over the comm-link. They all gave a quick confirmation over the Comm-Link showing they were paying attention. ++ Pick your targets now. On my command... ++ He started. After giving the marines about one second to get ready, all the time they needed, he cgave the command. ++ FIRE! ++ As one, the line of Marines opened up with their weapons, the roar of the heavy bolter and other weapons echoing across the warehouse.

Telor's charge had brought him to the very front of the Zerg advance.
He crouched low and leapt over the first Zerg just as Mortatus' Marines tore the front lines apart with their first volley.
Telor landed, blades swinging, in the middle of a pack of Hydralisks.
The eviscerator in his right hand ripped through one of the creatures and began boring into the second, while the Helix Blade in his left hand bissected another, and the crackling void energy the blade discharged fried the nerves of two others.
A booted foot passed through a Zergling and the other popped a Hydralisk's head off.
He whirled, blades pinwheeling, and took a half dozen more Zerg before he landed in a ready stance.
Thirteen down, way too many left to go.
