There was a displacement, an inconsistency in reality that bubbled outward, as Slink Appeared. He held an orb in his Paws. "Jesse! I've got PreToria!" He held it out to the bat, who took It.
He smiled, his iron teeth glinting in the Candlelight. "Now.... I suppose the spell would be the same as the one used to bind spirits to Objects..." He leapt into the air, unfurling his wings and flying around the room, searching for a Tome. He found the book he was looking for, and laid it on a Table. He lead the Pre-doll to a space in the centre of the room, and began drawing sigla and symbols around Her. Laying the orb on her chest, he began weaving the Spell. The orb sunk into the lifeless being, depositing it's Contents.

The first thing that happened was she became transparent. The orb with Pre's soul descended into the place where her heart should be. Then what looked like dark blue blood vessels sprouted from the sphere, spreading through her body. As it spread, her transparent form started to become more solid again, bringing back with it her normal complexion.
Still slightly see through, Pre screamed and rolled onto her hands and knees, clenching her fists. It was never a pleasant feeling having your soul forced back into a dead body. Her wings flared up as she weathered the pain that she could feel with all of her senses.

Jesse reached out, trying to absorb some of her Pain. He gritted his Teeth. "I've... done It... I can't believe It..." He was afraid to touch her, in case this was simply an Illusion.

Pre's mind was starting to fill with confusion. What was she doing there? It was so oppressive. The pain started to fade but she was still too afraid to move just yet, fearing it would make things worse. Her chest heaved as she panted heavily, still in the middle of the magic circle. Her head was lowered and she was afraid to look around. Afraid to see where she was. Why was she alive?

"Pre? Do you remember Me? Can you Speak?" He was on his metal knees in front of her, his handpaws pressed into them as he looked at Her. "I might have messed Up..."

"That...voice..." Pre said. Now she was filled with dread. If she was brought back to life, then he was the only one she knew who could do it. Now she understood why the environment was so oppressive. She was brought back here...To Jesse's home, "...J-Jesse...?" She lowered her self a little to the ground and tried to shuffle away, but she was so weak after just being forced back into living.

He looked Down. "Yes, Pre? I didn't.... act wrongly, did I? I'm sorry... for the Pain.... I.. couldn't bear to.. face life without You..." He seemed to be choking back Tears.

(I know. It's still oppressive to her since there's no nature around her, and being near Jesse has that kind of effect on her)
Jesse just answered all of her questions at once, and that scared her more. She was going to be used again. He was going to use her for something terrible, like before. Was he going to separate her like he did before? She shuffled farther away, "...I'm...scared..." She said, her voice as fragile as glass. She was hoping when she died that she would be returned back to her homeplanet. But she was wrong, "...Scared..." She said again.

He placed his flesh paw on her Cheek. "You don't need to be Scared..." He looked down, dropping his Paw. "What happened, Pre? Why... Oh... you're whole Again... Pre.. I'm Sorry. I shouldn't have done This... It was a selfish act.. I just... couldn't.. imagine life without you by my Side..."

He buried his head in her neck, a few tears escaping his unruined Eye. "I'm sorry Pre... I shouldn't have brought you Back... And I shouldn't have split You..."

Pre's large unsullied wings vanished and she slowly pulled away after a minute. She appeared distraught. She shouldn't have been brought back, but that could be easily fixed. And she was so weak she wouldn't be able to recover from even a small scratch. A magic blade materialized in her hand and she placed it over her chest.

Seeing what she was going to do, his resolve Steeled. "No." He held out his clockwork hand, gripping her wrist Gently. Tears were flowing unstemmed now, wetting the fur of his Muzzle. "No.."
