Some Might Say... Lupus reached the oasis and shifted back to human form, again not wanting to get sand in his fur. He was incredibly thankful that he had flexible clothes, or all his morphing would have been impossible. He had long since invested in them. HE looked at Ean for a couple of seconds, "Okay, I'll bite. Why?" ...The Saddest of Pandas

"I would imagine, that." Ean said pointing to the bottom of the pool of water. With the snap of a finger he began stripping any leather he had on and excess clothes, such as his cloak and shirt, "I'm gonna get it!" He said breifly before diving into the water.

((15 minute wait and thats all you have to say!?! scream )) Ean swam with one breath to the bottom of the pool. On the bottom was a fist sized blue diamond, glowing like a star. Ean was momentarily entranced by the stone, but swam down and attempted to grab it, figuring it was worth a lot of gold. But once he almost had a hand around it, he saw a reflection in it, not of him, but of a shield, of a coat of arms. Ean tried to make heads and tails of the reflection, but running out of breath, grabbed the diamond. A large burst of light and energy sent him flying out of the pool, and with diamond in hand, he smashed into the tree lupus was leaning on, then rocketing into the sand below. ((sigh gotta go))

Some Might Say... Lupus moved out of the way as the beastman fell from the tree. He shrugged and scooped some water from the oasis, sipping slwly as he waited for Ean to recover. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Ean dropped the diamond, and scratched at his eyes in pain, screaming. He felt like he was bleeding out of his eyes. At the time he thought he was going to go blind. "The light!" he thought, "The light did this to me! But what did it do?" Ean rolled over onto his stomach and pushed himself to his knees. He opened his eyes expecting to see nothing, but he saw an array of colors he had never seen before. It was beautiful. Through his now blue and green eyes, he could see so much more. He stared in disbelief.

Some Might Say... [[*Is juggling so much RP*]] Lupus continued to drink, ignoring the boy's screams of pain. Frankly, whatever was happening to him disinterested him. He stood up once he had had his fill and plucked a banana from one of the trees. He peeled it and began to eat. "Are you quite finished?" He asked, not looking at Ean. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Ean panted for a few seconds, before replying, "Yeah... I-I think so." Ean stood up wearily. He reached down and picked up the diamond. He looked at the coat of arms again. It was regal. He walked over to his pile of clothes and dressed himself. "Lupus, is there something different about my eyes?" Lupus was no longer the same colors as he was, he was nearly negative now, but more florescent.

Some Might Say... Lupus shrugged. When he spoke, his voice was muffleld as he ate the banana, "HOw shoulf I know? I wafn' paying *Gulp* any attention to your eyes." He answered, "Why would I be?" He took another bite from his fruit. ...The Saddest of Pandas

The dunes rippled, like a fish was swimming deep under the sand. The moving dune roared by Lupus and the others, a large row of spikes popping out. The dunes fell silent, the creature diving.

Some Might Say... Lupus glanced over to the rumbling in the sand. When it dived he ignored it. It was probably just a dune worm. Nothing to worry about. ...The Saddest of Pandas

The dunes reared again, this time the dune was large, huge. A head reared, a sand worm, writhing. Something far larger had clamped down on it, and it was surfacing.

"Gah!" Ean yelled, stumbling backwards. He pocketed the stone and drew his sword. Duvelden finally had another comment, "What the hell is that thing?" the griffin hissed into Ean's head. "I-I'm not sure." Ean said, "Looks like its in pain."

Some Might Say... Lupus blinked at the creature. "That's not something you see every day" He remarked. he then brandished his blades and prepared for a fight. "And don't let your guard down. Only a fool looks at the deer when there's a wolf nearby." ...The Saddest of Pandas

Antiarch ripped a peice off of the worm, tossing the dying body away. The large dune dragon looked down to Lupus and Ean. "Small creatures. Are you the ones making that horrible noise?" She roared, lowing her head to their level.
