the wolf girl

BJ walked away from the office leaving the girl to her own devices. Thinking about heading out the door she made her way across the lobby oblivious to all that was really going on. Running a gloved hand through her hair she made it most of the way to the door before turning back before turning around again. Pacing in an irritated manner she debated exploring the forest now or waiting until morning.

Luna sniffed the air and looked over to the girl pacing, "Your the other animal in here." Walking over she took a good whiff of her smells, "Something foresty, and big." The gloves where there but she didn't need to see what was underneath to know, "Your a bear." She held out her hand, "I'm a vampire dash shapeshifter."

((Sorry I'm half asleep. Grey come back soon please!!!))

BJ paused when the one girl accused her of being a shape shifter but if she could smell it what was the point of lying. Leaning away a little wearily when she sniffed her. Looking at her hand for a moment before taking it, "I'm BJ teddy bear dash stripper." Looking to the other girl, "What are you?" Normally it was a bit rude but why not, it seemed to be a common around here.

Damian listened to her explain. He did his best to keep the shock out of his face, but he would have never expected her to have murdered anyone.
Of course that idea brought another idea into his mind: He was sharing a room with a murderer.
Not a murdered, he forced himself to remember. She had killed two people and, as far as he could tell, it had been quite some time ago.
Then he realized that that couldn't be the case. She said she had gotten pregnant after the ordeal, so it had to be around eight months prior, depending on how far along she was. He wasn't sure and he wasn't going to ask her. It was her business and he would find out when she as gone from the room for an extended period of time.
He forced all of those thoughts from his mind, resolving that she wasn't a bad person and he shouldn't think about such things.
"Yes," he answered her question after a short pause. "I'm the only one in my immediate family like this, or at least, as far as I know. None of my close relatives have any signs of anything like this. As far as we know, it could be an extremely rare hereditary gene, but we never figured it out."
He sat down on the edge of his bed with his hands on his thighs.
"They've proved to be everything in between useful and irritating. I got a lot of attention from adults when I was a small child. They thought it was the most adorable thing they'd seen and that it was only a costume. For my sake, my parents went along with that idea."

"I wouldn't know, I wake up too many times to enjoy it. I dream to much. But its black, empty, numbing, and it only lasts a few minutes." The girl gave a weak smile. "You're not missing much." Victoria's attention turned to BJ and listened to the two converse before squeaking.

"Me?" She looked down at her toes. "I'm a human." She said quietly feeling like the oddball out. Perhaps she was the only one? Or had Luna mentioned another human earlier that was pregnant? She couldn't remember.

BJ looked at the woman for a moment, "Huh. I'd say how odd but you seem to be one of the normal people." Taking off the gloves she shoved them in her back pocket however where normal hands should have been, starting at the wrist thick mocha fur started to go down into her hands and her nails had become somewhat menacing claws and pads on her hands from the partial transformation. Her teeth had started to change as well but it wasn't as noticeable. Partial transformations could be helpful at times. Especially during the winter but that was another topic.

((Hopefully it's soon and Hobo says she doesn't mind that she as long as your coming back eventually. As it is with me.))

Pandora smiled, "I've dressed up as a black cat for halloween but it must have been hard." Shaking her head she looked at Damian, "The worst thing that happened to me was I got in a car accident and killed my best friends. What about you?"

Luna smiled, "I sometimes miss sleep but I can't sleep during the day and everything is going on during the day." Luna smiled at BJ, "BJ? Whats your last name? Ilike?" She laughed at herself and looked at the time, "I'd loved to stay and chat but I should be going." She shook hands again and walked away up to Cole's room. She tried the handle and it was unlocked so she went in and saw that he was sleeping. Sitting on the bed that he was in, she scooted up till she was directly next to him and watched him sleep.

Noooo! The brunette thought sadly as Luna left her with BJ. Slowly she looked back and adjusted her glasses. "I'd shake hands but that might seem kinda rude." She stated simply. Well...what now? "Is there a library around here somewhere?" She asked yawning.

Damian felt a rush of relief as she said she got in a car accident. It sounded horrible, but he was relieved to know that the 'murder' she had spoke of before was an accident. He couldn't see her doing anything like that on purpose anyway.
He had to think about her question, though. What was the worst thing that had happened to him? One instance came into his mind at the thought, though he wasn't sure if it was the worst thing that had happened to him. But until he thought of something else, it could be it.
"Well...." he began, trying to think of how to explain it. "I once hurt a little girl because she grabbed hold of my tail....I felt horrible about it, but it came as a reaction to me. See, I don't like anyone touching my tail most of the time, though there are certain instances that I don't mind. But this time, I was walking down a street when a little girl and her mom came out of a store behind me. The girl saw my tail and immediately ran up to me, despite her mother's protest. I wasn't paying any attention to them, so when she grabbed my tail and yanked on it, my reaction was to turn around and bat her in the head....."
He paused as he stared down at the floor. He could still remember her cries after he had done that and he had regretted it immediately afterwords. He hadn't held back when he hit her, so she had gotten the full force of his fist into the side of her head.
"She fell to the ground and started sobbing. I tried to apologize, but her mother rushed her away as fast as she could. I still feel horrible about it...but there's nothing I can do now."

Cole didn't react at all when Luna entered his room. He continued to sleep as usual, and seemed almost as if he would fall off the bed at any moment.
The bit of light that filtered in through the drawn curtains was starting to fall on him, though. His eyes seemed to scrunch up as it began to bother him. His breathing slowed for a moment before he took one, long breath. He began to open one eye, keeping the other one squinted closed. He hated the light. It always woke him up in the mornings.
He was surprised this time, though, to see Luna sitting there. Both his shot open in surprise and, this time, he did fall off the bed. There was a loud 'thunk' as he landed.
One leg was tangled in the blankets that were shoved off to the corner of the bed, so he was sitting in a very awkward position. Almost all of his body was on the floor except for his leg, which was twisted behind him in the blanket. He blinked a few times to try to gather his wits about him before he rubbed his head with one hand.
"Um.....hi..."

BJ glared at Luna as she left, like she had never heard that one before... Letting her reignoted foul temper guide her words she responded, "Ya I probably shouldn't anyway. She was a vampire and you're human so you can actually get what I have and accidents are to easy when you have claws." Smiling a bit, "Did you know were-animals are the only mutant gene that is contagious?" Pulling her gloves back on hoping the girl would believe at least a bit of that BS between the movies and hearing her say it, "At any rate I'm trying to pass here as human so I'd appreciate if you didn't bellow it down the halls." Looking down the hall she was never going to get out of here at this rate but this person was boring. A lot of grounds to explore and she wanted the library. "Ya its that way a bit. I can show you down."

Tori stared at BJ, thoughts flunctuating between respect and fear. "Its contagious?" She asked curiousy, fear rapidly diminishing. "So what's it contagious through? Saliva like it is with rabies? Or a bite? Nonetheless it probably has to be contagious through saliva since touching me wouldn't work."

The brunette thought a moment before frowning. "Wait, Luna said were-wolvs and vampires got along so I have no right to believe you. Even then please don't bite me even if it is contagious." She backed away about a foot for safety measures, not that it helped. "What else is here besides the library anyway." She started to walk and turned.

"C'mon tour guide, don't leave customers waiting please." She had said it all very icely and with a smile on her face.

Even laughed and then stopped short, "Sorry but in comparison I think mines worse. Besides you can't really control your cat like instincts. I had a cat before and he hated it when I tugged his ears or tail, and especially hated it when I rubbed his fur the wrong way.. Why is that?"

Luna propped up on one elbow to get a good look at him, "Interesting position, but your leg must be uncomfy." She slid over the bed and helped him get out of the entanglement of the covers, "There, and don't worry I fed on bunnies not you." She held out her hand to help him back up, "I just wanted to lay with a friend, something I haven't really ever done cause the girls would always sleep on the floor or something."

BJ laughed, "I didn't say we didn't get along I said I wasn't contagious to her because of her race. I'm not a doctor and its not my problem if you get anything from the weres around here." Her smile didn't falter, she didn't care if the girl believed her but her tone was sarcastic as she continued, "Hunny if you want a tour guide you're barking up the wrong tree. I don't hurry for anyone that isn't paying me." While it was still a nice lesson the fact it had been learned in reference to being a stripper was a bit odd. Walking with deliberate slowness she pointed, "Up stairs is rooms, that way is food, that way is the door, don't let it hit you on the way out. Personally I am heading to have some fun" Walking to the door she knew she was being bitchy but it was a nice test for anyone who wanted to ever speak with her. If they could tolerate her bad moods, they could probably stand her good mood. Readjusting on of her hiking boots she looked out into the darkness with a smile.

Logan put his hand up to the side of his head with both his pointer finger and middle finger extended towards his skull. He pulled it away quickly so that his fingers were then pointing towards the ceiling.
"Intuition, I guess," he replied. "I'm pretty good at making conclusions, picking up small hints in things, stuff like that." He gave a small shrug, continuing to walk forward. "Perhaps it comes with loosing the nerve connections that lead to my left eye. The plasticity of the brain still amazes me..."
He paused, both in speech and in walking to glance back at Teddy.
"Sorry, you probably don't care about all that. There's a reason I'm a biology teacher."
He listened to her as she spoke of her parents. He couldn't exactly relate with her feelings since he had never had much of a problem with his own parents. But he did remember what it was like to be a teenager. It hadn't been that long ago, after all.
"Well..." he began, pausing to gather his thoughts. "I can't make any conclusions, since I don't know your parents, but it sounds like they just wanted what was best for you. Even if it wasn't what you wanted, or even what was best for you. Think of it this way, at least they're trying." At this, he stopped and turned to face her directly.
"I know that there are students in this school who's parents didn't give a hoot about them or their lives. They just wanted them and their strange abilities out of the house and out of their lives. Now, I don't want to sound that I'm lecturing, but just think about it. Maybe their intentions were better than you think."

Teddy bit her lip and looked at the ground, realizing for the first time that she was acting like a spoiled brat. It wasn't a new feeling but it was made more agonizing because someone else had pointed it out to her. She even managed to blush without smoking. Well, not as much smoking as usual.

Staring at the ground as she spoke, she tried to phrase her words a bit more carefully. "I know they did what was right but I still feel hurt by their decisions." 'There, that didn't sound so petulant', she thought.
