Sam smiled widely, though she was hoping that nobody was seeing her.

Damn. I lost this one. 0-1, kid. I'll avenge that loss! I swear! I'll be a proper conscience.
It's a good thing nobody else is here, or his reputation would be screwed.
That's why I was so reliant on my guess! Oh well.

Akira smiled watching him walk away and over to Sam. Thats cute. She turned and walked back into the circus looking at the exibits and just wondering hoping to meet another new friend.

Akira made her way through the circus and exited. She was bored now. She wandered around aimlessly.

I let out a low hiss, quiet enough so only I could hear and Teddy's ears would not. Damn. I had frightened him. I could see it in his eyes.
Instead of the aggressive hiss, I let out a more audible, pained sigh, and sat down next to Teddy. I rummaged in my pocket and held a piece of gum out to him in the palm of my hand.
"It'll take the taste away," I explained, draping an arm around his shoulders. "I'm sorry I frightened you," I said, more sincerity in my voice now. I felt awful for scaring him. What if I had screwed everything up?

Teddy took the gum and stuck it in his mouth. He chewed it quietly for a few moments, not saying anything more quite yet and looking at the pavement. Then he leans against Markus, relaxing some. "I've just never seen you violent before. It's not like I didn't know it could happen. I don't know why I reacted like that. I'm okay now; I'll try not to run off like a little girl anymore, kay?" Teddy smiled a little, though he was still a bit shaken.
