Amnity reappeared inside the pub, not caring anymore if she had seen her enter through a portal. "Hannah..." She called, looking around the whole bar. "Hannah, it's Am. Please tell me you're still here...."

Tsuki moved like a blur, slashing and blasting at the same time, cutting a swath of destruction through the ranks of shadows, fighting towards a group of vampire mages.
With an enormous crack, he broke through, sending a wave of chain lighting at the mages like wildfire, jumping between Shadow and Vampire alike, cutting down hundreds.

Malcolm was blur to the Shadows of the pit, he moved with in-human speed, slashing with a sword of light at anything that moved. Six hours he had fought, and was very near his goal, a mere five feet from him stood the pedestal holding the book.
With a burst of brilliant light, the last Shadow fell, leaving him free to claim the book, or so he thought.
"Hannah?" He said, confusion on his voice, "How... why?"


"Hello Malcolm."
Hannah stood next to the pedestal, her hand tracing patterns over the book with loving care.
"Who do you think wrote these?" She said, her voice now dark and cold, "Who do you think caused all of this chaos?"
She stepped towards Malcolm, her lips curled in a mischievous smile.


Malcolm let his hand drop to his chest, his eyes a mask of pain.
"I.. I am sorry Hannah" He whispered, "But I must take the book now."
A bolt of brilliant lighting struck Hannah in the chest, blasting her backwards across the cavern, carrying her through room after room, crushing the foundations of the walls.
Malcolm took the book with a heavy heart, then summoned a portal, stepping through it and entering back into the world above. Pain and determination covering his face.
"

Malcolm emerged from the portal to a war, flashes of lightning lit the sky, and people ran in panic, screaming for their lives.
Damian floated above the masses, watching it all with a look of conquest.
Hatred flashed in Malcolms eyes and he joined the fray, summoning a longsword of pure light and slashing away viciously, looking for Tsuki.

((Side note: At sometime tonight, an event will occur that will end this RP. This is not because I don't like it, etc. But simply because the storyline has played out. If you wish to participate in the prequel to this story. Check out Moonlight, the new RP I have posted in the forum.))

Tsuki fought viciously through wave after wave of Shadow's pushing forward towards Damian with all his might. He spotted Malcolm in a nearby patch of Shadows, fighting hard.
With a blast of energy, Tsuki cleared a pathway, and was soon back to back with Malcolm, both men fighting bravely.
"This is hopeless!" Tsuki shouted above the noise, stabbing a Shadow through the chest, "We can never hope to defeat all of this monsters! No matter how many we kill, they just keep coming!"

Malcolm slashed out with his sword, cleaving several nearby shadows in half.
"No, not helpless, there is still a way to defeat them."
He gestured at Damian with his chin and chop downwards, stopping a Shadow's advance.
"Damian is creating all of the Shadows, the only way to defeat them, is to kill him."

Tsuki nodded and sent out another wave of energy, cleaving several Shadows at the knees.
"How?"

Malcolm patted his book bag with one hand, fending off an advance with the other.
"I can take care of that, but I need you to distract him, if he sees what I am about to do, he'll go beserk."

Belle had made her way close enough to hear the exchange between Malcolm and Tsuki. She grinned. "My pleasure," she whispered before easily heading towards Damian. She heard Amnity and burst out laughing, killinng another five shadows with one swing. She continued on her path but had to pause at the light. Even with the shades it was a bit bright. Another moment and she was a foot away from Damian. She grinned, "Hope you don't mind I switched sides. After all, I promised to not go against you, but you obviously didn't want that. So I figured, why not go against his wishs, let's go against him. Make his work even harder."

Malcolm saw the flash of light emitted by Amnity and stopped fighting, staring off into space.
"That won't be enough.." He whispered, suddenly resuming fighting.
"Tsuki! Do it now!" He shouted, summoning a second sword to give him time.


Tsuki heard Malcolm cue and slammed his sword into the ground, concentrating every inch of his current energy into it.
With a yell, he released the energy, sending out a large shockwave of electricity that obliterated hundreds of Shadows, giving the two a wide perimeter of space to work with.
"It's now or never.." Tsuki whispered, launching himself high into the air with a pulse of his wings, "Here I go Malcolm!" He shouted, dropping his sword into a fighting stance.

Malcolm looked up at Tsuki and smiled a sad smile.
"I hope you can hold him my friend!" He shouted, "Do it for everyone, do it for Hannah!"

At the mention of Hannah, Tsuki stopped, hovering in mid-air and looking down at Malcolm.
"What about Hannah?" He said slowly, trying to remain calm, "Did something happen?"

Malcolm looked up at Tsuki with sad eyes, pain radiating from his face.
"I'm sorry Tsuki... But Damian.. He got to her.."

Tsuki did not wait for Malcolm to finish, he whirled around, the ferocity of his anger causing a mighty impact to the air as he launched himself at Damian, sword raised high.
"DIE YOU TWISTED b*****d!" He roared, charging ahead at full speed.

Malcolm turned away and took out the three books, arranging them into a triangle on the ground.
"I only have one chance at this" He whispered, placing his hands in the proper position.
He began to speak in a language beyond human understanding, swirling his hands in an intricate pattern over the books.
As he moved his hands, the dimensions of the books began to shift and twist, pulling each other towards the center with a strange howling noise.

Tsuki slashed at Damian with all his might, bringing his sword into a furious tirade of cuts and thrusts, driving the man away from the portal and across the night sky.

Damian matched Tsuki's ferocity with his own, swinging a jet black sword with equal speed and precision. A laugh escaped his lips, and he attacked with renewed vigor.
"Do you really thing you can defeat me boy?" He questioned, renewing his assault.
