Reznik grinned madly as his attack hit. He turned to see Daisuke on top of a sand dune. With his tongue hanging from his mouth, he pursued Daisuke.

When he came up over the dune, Daisuke was standing by Baku.

Reznik came to the peak of the dune and stood upon it, peering down upon Daisuke and Baku with mad eyes.

Daisuke grinned and held up a hand. "C'mon!" he said, gesturing for him to come down.

Reznik grinned and dove down the dune, running on all fours as he came at Daisuke.
Once Reznik hit level ground, he vanished and reappeared behind Daisuke, sending a kick towards his back.

"We tried this once already."
Daisuke appeared behind Reznik, this time punching for the middle of his back. He seemed intent on immobilizing him, although his reasoning wasn't clear.

Reznik spun to his feet and the punch landed on his lower right side. He grunted but didn't stop. He completed his spin until he was facing Daisuke and clawed at his throat.

Daisuke blocked it with his forearm, then shot a vicious headbutt at Reznik's face.

Reznik pulled his tongue into his mouth as it formed a vicious grin. He met the headbutt with one of his own.

Daisuke grunted and forced fire into his headbutt, giving it more power than Reznik's.

Reznik didn't hold back, despite the fire.
Their heads collided and both were sent backwards from the impact. Reznik stumbled back several feet before recovering. Still grinning, he raised a hand to his forehead, now scorched. His head began to ache slightly, an inside pain not directly caused by the headbutt.

Daisuke, seeing his chance, flitted forward and aimed a punch at Reznik's chest. He glanced over Reznik's shoulder.

Reznik looked over his shoulder, completely ignoring the punch and making no attempt to evade it, he saw the hole ripped by Myia. He turned back to Daisuke as the punch connected with Reznik's chest, sending him flying backwards through the gate back into the human world. He still wore the grin of a madman as he flew through.
He crashed into a wall, causing it to collapse around him. He stood in the smoking remains of the wall, still grinning that crazed grin of his. Most of his clothing was in utter ruin. He waited for Daisuke to follow through.

Daisuke flew out of the portal, flaming fist first.

This time, Reznik stepped to the side and grabbed for Daisuke's upper arm, intent on throwing him into the wall he had just gone through.
His head pain had become more intense the second he entered the human world, but Reznik was too crazed to let the pain bother him.
