Vadász let her, resting his head against hers gently, his thumb running along the skin of her hand lightly. "Always. You're always more than welcome." He muttered softly, kissing the top of her head, just glad that she couldn't see his eyes. His hair shadowed them for the most part, but some of them could still be seen, at least if she looked up. He was quiet for a few moments, taking a deep, relaxing breath, knowing that she had a right to know. "A woman that I loved very much a long time ago. She was the world to me." He whispered, his hand then holding hers, giving a small squeeze. He was thankful his voice hadn't cracked in the least bit. Just this once, he would tell what had happened. At least in part. He doubted he could say much more without showing anything.

"What happened to her?" Cori asked softly, barely audible as she looked to him as she heard the sorrow in his voice. She moved her hand so her fingers were woven through his, squeezing it gently. She wouldn't hold it against him, wouldn't do anything because of it. She didn't know how she could, not to him.

Vadász bowed his head, he couldn't let her see his eyes, he just...couldn't. He did glance to their hands, a pained, sad smile upon his lips. "She died for me, because of me.... She and the unborn son she was bearing..." He whispered, praying that she couldn't hear how his voice wavered a little. He squeezed her hand a little, a life line that kept him from drifting back to that unhappy time. He had come so far, he could hold himself together better than this.

Cori paused, watching him sadly, but her eyes full of sympathy. "I'm sorry, I really am." she murmured, twisting around to hug him as best she could without letting go of his hand. She pulled back after a moment, not sure she'd helped. She knew she should explain, especially because he had...
"What Kaely'd mentioned. A couple years ago I was on another mission, don't remember what it was. I, got caught. Tortured for, I don't know. A while. They wanted me weaker, so I couldn't fight them... He was a telepath, hid all my memories, replaced them. Made me think I loved him and always had. It was perfect though, all of it. Better than any dream..." she paused, ashamed of it. A moment later she continued, voice steady again.
"The Rangers came, wanting him to let me go. For me to come back with them. I refused, called them crazy for thinking I'd leave him. I left them, quit. I was with him for a couple more months, then... I'd break through it, remember things. He'd have to put the spell back. I don't know how many times it happened. Finally he hit me, and he had more trouble fixing it because of it." she stopped again, tears slipping down her cheeks. She didn't look at him, didn't look anywhere except a spot on the floor in front of her. Her voice shook as she spoke again, still soft and barely audible.
"I, confronted him the next time I broke it. If the pain was strong enough it'd keep him out, keep him from making me forget again. I... I stabbed my hand with one of the knives, remembering where it would hurt the most. He couldn't break through, every time he was close I'd twisted it. He finally came over to me, deciding I'd outlived any use he had for me. That nothing was worth dealing with me, how much of a shame it was that I'd never gotten pregnant. He pushed the knife down harder, into the table. Couldn't stop him that time... He only laughed when he finished, stood there taunting me about how far I'd fallen... Only laughed as I yelled at him, tried to pull the knife out. Didn't stop until... until I killed him, the same damn knife." she whispered, remembering every minute of it again.

Vadász forced himself to fix his smile, nodding to her since he didn't trust his voice at that moment. He held her a little closer at the hug, the warmth he felt from that enough to pull him free of the trap he had put himself in. He kept his arm around her, still holding her hand, now watching her as she spoke. He grimaced, he didn't like the sound of this already..... His eyes widened, furrowing as he frowned, lowering his eyes once she had finished. He then carefully slipped his hand from hers, resting both now on either side of her face, leaning in so he could kiss away a tear, his thumbs brushing away the rest.
He then pulled from whatever reserve of strength he had, he made that warmth for her. But it was slightly different than before... better in a way. It was wrapped in his affections, his love, for her. His understanding of pain, and leaving the home that he knew. He just hoped it would help her, thats all he ever did. Hope that what he did helped her... "I'm so sorry..." He whispered, he had no words he could say, holding her close then, a hand running through her hair softly. It had always been a comforting gesture for him, maybe it would be for her too. He felt bad since he couldn't make himself explain any more about himself, but he knew that was silly of him. So, he just focused on making that warmth perfect for her, knowing how they were both hesitant to let this happen.

Roran stepped on to Gyors as everything happened so quickly. Before he knew it, they were off, and Kantern was transforming into his Were form, breaking off into the woods towards the mountains. Roran know he'd beat them there, and only smirked as the wind smacked his cheek.
Night passed and dawn was upon them before they arrived. Lyn was off her horse and looking at her princess on a stump. Taknig a deep breath as the army began to walk around and stretch, she approached her princess. "Milady, General Nacelyne at your service. We've arrived, and the army is at your disposal, ma'am." She saluted the elven princess, hoping to meet Eve and not Selena. "The men are pretty tired, and so I thought it would be nice for a day's rest, if you'd allow it."

Eve didn't even turn her head to Nacelyne when she addressed her, only continued looking ahead in deep thought, though she did listen to her for a moment. "Go ahead. There will be enough time for a day's rest." She murmured before rising to her feet and walking off further away from the city. Obviously disapproving of the princess venturing so far, Tuin emerged from the house and followed after Eve to make sure she would be safe.

Leena glanced down to a sphere of ice hovering over her hand, looking to see where Vadász was among all this snow. She blinked a little at the scene that she saw, though her expression softened, she was happy for him. Good luck my friend. She saw the surroundings, just wanting to be sure that he hadn't been captured by anyone. Letting the sphere scatter into flakes of snow, she looked up, starting to see the edges of bodies, sensing that they were about to arrive. "Enged minket slicc Sebesen!" She heard her whinny before she galloped off faster, a hand running along her neck in thanks. "Csak egy kicsi hosszabb akkor tudod pihenés."
It didn't take long before she was dismounting her mare, briefly looking into the doorway to see Vadász and Cori, walking away then so as not to disturb. She lowered her hood, or at least moved it back a little so that her face was visible to everyone. And finally we are back. She then moved away from the mass amounts of elves and their small group, uncorking the vial that held those black crystals. She felt her hood fall back completely, ignoring it as she clenched the crystals in her hand, murmuring something that couldn't quite be heard, a mist forming around her hand that soon became a white fire, twisting as purple bits floated out of her hand. She let her fingers curl back slowly, watching the black peel away and fleck off, leaving a clear crystal in the palm of her hand. It wouldn't take much longer, turning to watch the camp. Her eyes softened, the throbbing in her head returning, but it was lessening little by little. Her eyes darted down to the crystals then, seeing them done, placing them into a different pouch, walking back though she staggered a little. I gotta actually rest... She lowered her mask, letting it fade completely so her neck showed at this point. Leaning against a wall, she brushed her white hair back, taking a deep breath and then letting it out.

The king's horse came to a stop, whinnying once to let him know they were where they were supposed to be. He got off swiftly, his feet not even sinking in the snow as he was led around by his horse to Eve. Once the horse stopped again, he knew he was there and he smiled lightly. "Evangeline. Why have you separated yourself from the others?" He asked lightly.
Eve quickly recognized her father and immediately lit up, turning and hugging him tightly. "Im gelir ceni ad lín, ada." She murmured into his shoulder before breaking the hug and finally realizing the danger this brought her father as well. "Father, you shouldn't be here. Or at least following me. You should have fled with the rest of our people. It's too dangerous here...." She said with a great look of concern on her face.
The king laughed lightly and shook his head, patting his daughter's shoulder. "Now don't you worry about me. I've lived a lot longer than you have and I've done it all blind. What's a few more journies?"
Eve just sighed and shrugged, hooking elbows with her father to led him back into the city, towards a house that only had a little damage to it.

Cori slipped her arms around his neck, head resting lightly on his shoulder. She didn't say anything, didn't know what to say if she could. She let him hold her, ignoring everything she heard outside. Footsteps outside the door, then leaving again. She pulled away gently after a few minutes, hating to do it. She gave him a very faint smile, hoping he'd understand. "They're here, probably should go out there before they come looking." she murmured, almost sadly with a soft sigh. She didn't want to leave, but she didn't see a way she'd be able to stay without being found.

Roran dismounted Gyors, patting its neck before it ran off to Sebesen. Looking at the massive amount of elves, his stomach churned. He knew he was going to hate this. Taking a deep breath as if to calm himself, he heard and felt a large thud behind him. He knew what it was. "Couldn't you be less blunt?" He turned to see a giant black wolf staring down at him as it stood on two legs.
Kantern had arrived at some point in the night, staying hidden until Roran arrived. "Roran," he spoke. His voice was very hoarse, but you could still hear the human in it, "I don't think this is that great of an idea. A huge mass of elves sitting in Talagand's territory? With the fire's that wil be lit tonight, where ever we camp, it's gonna put a major target on our backs."
Roran shook his head. "Kantern, I've done what I said I would do. I got the army to come. I'm not in charge and you know it. I have no rule over these elves. Eve does. If you feel there's a problem, hunt down the princess. She shouldn't be hard to find. The one who is probably nagging or complaining or training and one of the first two. Also she has a creature with her that looks like an overgrown, mutated Mothzard. She's an easy find." He turned his back on his friend then, only to find an arrow to his throat.
Lyn nodded at her princess, letting a soft sigh with a smile. What her eyes saw next though wasn't a pretty sight. A hunter and a werewolf? She didn't like it, not one bit. Walking over there without bringing attention to herself, she got up behind them, pulled an arrow out, and waited for him to turn. As soon as the hunter did, she brought the arrow up and pushed it into his neck. No blood was drawn, but she did get him to freeze. "What the hell do you think you're doing? One hunter and a were?"
It hurt, needless to say. It was like pushing a needle on your arm, but you didn't push hard enough to pierce your skin. When he looked at the woman's face, anger boiled inside him. "What do I think I'm doing?!? Who the hell do you think you are?"
Lyn squinted her eyes. She didn't need to answer to a hunter, but she found her lips moving and her voice flowing none the less. "I'm General Nacelyne. Under the King and Princess Eve, I command this army."
She gave him her name, he knew he had to give his. "I'm Roran Floral. I had been somewhat of a general myself before I went and became a traitor to Altarion. I'm the one who brought the king here. Your king." He found himself growling, or maybe that was the werewolf behind him who wasn't doing anything. The thought then struck him. If she was a general, he could talk military with her. She could relay it to Eve, and he'd never have to speak to that elf again. A smile displayed itself on his face. He could tell it confused this general.
Lyn wasn't sure whether to believe his story or not. She didn't like it, and she could poke many holes in it, but she decided to believe him. "I don't know why you're smiling," her voice was calm, "but I'd watch my back if I were you." Turning her back to them, she took a few steps before getting interupted.
"General, we should talk." Roran walked after her, staying in step as he began talking about battle plans. That garbage annoyed Kantern. He didn't understand why anyone could be fully interested in that stuff. converting to his human now that Roran was out of trouble, he spotted only one tent in camp so far. Sighing, he walked towards it. The scent of elvish flesh was flooding his nostrils. The magic bitter yet sweet. When he pulled the tent flap back, though, and entered, a different scent rammed up his nose. He closed his eyes, not caring what the woman or man in the tent thought. She wasn't the one he smelled. It was the male. A hawk who has wizard magic? He didn't think on it too hard, opening his eyes to see them staring at each other. He knew that look. Turning in disgust, he exited, though he wished he could've stayed. It was much warmer in there. As a wolf, he liked the warm when it got cold like this. Shrugging off the desire, he went and found a rock to sit on, pulling out some of his vials, looking at the liquids. He didn't know why, but they interested him so much.

Once her father was settled in and resting, Eve took on a serious face once more, walking through the crowds of elves until she was able to hunt down Lyn. Roran was with her, no surprise since she was the general, though neither seemed to like the other very much. "I see you two have meet... Lyn, I know it will be a pain and it is cold, but do not allow the troops to light fires tonight. They should be able to take shelter in the buildings, since our army is small. I will deal with the spell to conceal the horses, but if the army is resting for a day, I would rather make it harder to find us at the moment." She said as she stood in the doorway, no smile or even child-like glitter in her features. Her hair blew lightly in the biting wind, since she was still unable to find her ribbon or find the time to make a new one. Instead she simply tried to ignore her hair, remembering she was a leader first, and a woman second.

She only took her Sisters with her, the other assassins she trusted to not screw this up. Her army was searching, trying to find someone that they could feed from. Something that wasn't just magic. It was easy to slip into the castle, barely making a sound. Sending the others to find alternate ways in, to surround the princess, Aki went inside the room. "What is it you're protecting Anira?" she asked after hurling two daggers towards her, both coated in a poison to paralyze her.

"Like I would ever tell you." Anira hissed, bringing up a magical barrier as she stood infront of two giant doors that were currently locked up tight.
"She is protecting a crystal that belongs to Valanthiriel. It is what allows her to heal so quickly. If you destroy it, you will destroy Valanthiriel's unnatural power to heal and you will kill whomever is in control of Eve's body at the time. Once you dispatch of Anira, wait for Lord Altarion's order to destroy it, he will be paying our sister a visit very soon, but he wants to be sure that Valanthiriel is in control once the crystal is destroyed." Melda said in a laughing tone.

Aki smiled. "Still protecting her. While you're stuck here, left to die because everyone thinks some kid can kill Altarion. Even your sister couldn't, how can Eve?" she asked. "Melda, what is there I can use to get to her? There's something, but it'll take too long for me to find it. And my girls are impatient, they want to feed."
