Kurisu of the Hellfire
Sidnay
As requested here are the pictures of my MiG pilots helmet/headphones: to complete this project you will need:
1) Pilots helmet, preferably one which has existing headphones inside it. Soviet era MiG pilots helmets (such as my own) currently seem to have glutted the market and are reletively inexpensive.
2) Additional wiring: the wiring inside the helmet itself is probably still usable, but if not you need to use your own.
3) Soddering gun
4) New pair of headphones.
5) Glue. Good glue, prefereably suitable for leather.
6) a modern headphone connection (the sticky part of your headphones you plug into the music player to hear delicious tunes)
You will need to rip out the existing head phones inside the helmet (you can not do this and use them, but they are shitty 70's-80's soviet made crap, so presuming you want things like "quality" in your music, I suggest you bite the bullet and buy some new ones you can harvest the speakers from). In order to do this you will need to peel back the foam (foam?) ear cushion and do ripping. Now sodder your new headphones in. That plug in the back looks wierd so gut it out, sodder the new wiring on, and put the new outlet sticky part on the end. Put into into your mp3 or cd player and you should have amazing sound quality, or silence. If the later go back and retrace your steps: either the wiring in the helmet is old and faulty or you have'nt soddered something correctly. THIS IS POSSIBLE: TRUST ME!

ewwwww, image quoting!!!
that aside, that is some VERY nice headgear, do you wear it whenever you want to listen to your music or do you have "back-up" headphones for more lightweight listening?
