Spotting a familiar face or two, Ovid grinned, making his way into hearing range of Miko and Sirius, extending a friendly wave to them before continuing his approach. He was glad to see old friends.
"Allo allo, what's goin' on 'ere then?"

"Mm yeah I suppose that does sound nice," Aelo smiled brightly, "And if I were in a cozy warm house on a bitter cold day, I'd wish for a bowl of hot cocoa to complement the warmth. Oh! And I'd also want the sun to come out so I could play with the flowers and take care of them." He finished with a laugh. "But in a way, what you said also does sound nice." he nodded as his glance drifted towards the small pup on the other side of Yume, and smiled warmly down at him.

"I'm sure he will be; whether he wants our help or not is something else. I asked Momo-oniisan to try and get him to come out at least." Sighing heavily again, he tried to put it out of his mind for the time. Remus had always been a happy pup, and he knew that happiness would return when the time came. "Everything will work out for the best though, I'm sure. With Dris too. I'm glad she's found someone on her trip- though if she plans on bringing him back, I'll have to make sure he's... right, for her." He coughed loudly, trying to cover his worry. "But we know Dris is happy. So tonight, why not focus on us?" He moved closer, nuzzling Miko gently. "And tonight- Ovid!" Blushing, he drew away slightly, and turned to face the younger Tala. "How have you been?"

Coughing with embarrassment at interrupting such a moment, the panda marked tala looked at the trees, the sky, the grass, all but the pair in front of him. Where was a distraction when you needed one? Almost praying for something to pop out of the woodwork at that moment, Ovid merely nodded idly.
"Em... not bad. You?"
Speaking in high tones, the montoned face of Ovid turned gradually pink.

Miko nodded slightly, still worrying over her son, like any other mother would. Was he alright? Maybe she could have a chat with him..it had been so long since they'd just talked. They never really had, in fact. Leaning into Sirry's nuzzle, she noticed Ovid. Upon seeing the panda marked Tala, Miko gave a soft smile. Boys were so silly sometimes.
"Hello there, Ovid. We were just talking about..Remus. Maybe you could talk to him? He's been so depressed lately.." Miko trailed off, becoming lost in her own thoughts.

Almost ready to kiss Miko for giving a topic on which to speak, Ovid let out a large puff of air before smiling obediently at her.
It would be nice to see Remus again, whatever the reason. He missed his old friend of late, and would be pleased to see him happy once more.
"I'd be happy to talk to him. Any clues where I could find him, and let you to get back to... talking?"

Sirius nodded and stared into the trees off to the side. "Ehm... oh, we're well, yes." His own voice had aquired a slight squeak, and he could feel his face burning. Feeling grateful yet again for inheriting his Dad's mostly dark fur, he nodded again. "Yes, fine. But Remus, yes he's.. still upset." The plight of his son pulled some of the embarrasment away. "And I really don't- AGH!" Eyes widening at a nearby tree, he leaped back in suprise. "What?"
"Kyuu!" Momo flew out of the tree slowly, dragging something gold and black behind him. "Kyuuu kyuuuu!" [Mission Accomplished!]
The black and gold rope wriggled and yanked itself free of the small Kaju's grip. "Momo-san! That was my TAIL, you nutty bat!" Enraged, Remus zoomed out of hiding, pinning his "uncle" to the ground. "And why'd you drag me here anyway?"

"Remus, dear.." Miko murmured, sliding gracefully to all her four paws. Did her son even notice them all standing here? Not knowing what to say, she turned to Momo.
"Thank you, Momo. We've been very worried about him." Turning her gaze to Ovid and Sirry, she frowned more. She wasn't close enough to her own son to speak to him about why he was depressed, and it upset Miko.

Eyes widening at the manner of Remus' entrance, Ovid nonetheless grinned widely to see the dark tala being dragged into their presence, and stepped forward to envelope him in a friendly embrace.
Deciding to ignore the angered tone of the other's voice, the panda tala launched quickly into a greeting.
"Remus! Long time no see, I missed ya, buddy."

Momo chirped cheerily and wriggled away, still thinking everything was part of the game. "Kyuuu, kyuu kyuuuuuh!" [Remus, catch me now!]
"You're gonna pay, you runty- Mama? Papa?" Remus looked up in surprise. Before he could react though, he was engulfed by another familiar Tala. "Ovid! How are you?" Even when he was annoyed, he couldn't stay that way for long around his best friend.
Sirius started to reply, but paused. At least his son was talking willingly now. Best not to interrupt. Taking a step back, he nudged Miko gently. "We should let them catch up."

Miko nodded, unable to keep her sadness from showing, in the slight slump of her shoulders, and her downcast, darkened eyes. She was glad her son was out and about again, but she wasn't sure of what made her more sad, the fact that her son and she had grown apart, or that he was growing up before her eyes.
"Of course, dear," she murmured to Sirry, padding off to a nearby tree to avoid the rain still coming down lightly.

Shrugging in response to Remus' question, Ovid smiled idly, thinking of his recent urge to explore.
"Can't complain, nothin' too shocking, nothin' too amazing. Nothing much, all in all. I'm bored stiff. How about you? Anything to report?"
Eyeing his friend with concern at the end of this speech, he smiled a little more purposefully. He did not like to see his friends unhappy.

Remus flopped over on his back, tired from the recent exertion, and nodded. "Me too. I mean, Papa's been trying to get me out more, but there's nothing here! Ever since the races and stuff, it's been dead quiet here. Even Rory's been off doing mom stuff..."
Pulling himself from his thoughts, he looked Ovid in the eye. "D'you think we're going to end up like that someday? Happy to just sit around doing nothing?" It was something that had been bothing him ever since the birth of his younger siblings, and just saying it took effort. Panting, he nodded to himself, as if to say, well done.
"Miko, love?" Sirius looked into Miko's eyes worriedly. "Is something wrong? You seem so... so sad. Is Serenity okay?"

Miko gave her mate a faint smile, then curling up and burying her muzzle under her paws. It was so silly, worrying over Remus like this. At the mention of Serenity she shook her head, her muzzle peeking out from her large paws. "Serenity is fine, love."
She sighed, rolling onto her back. "I've never told our son I love him." The Tala finally whispered. This was breaking her heart, thinking of this. She'd always watched over him, from a distance, making sure Remus was doing okay. But she'd never really talked to him, and it bothered her immensely.

Sirius let out a breath of relief. "I'm glad she's doing well. Though I can't imagine her ever not. She's always so cheerful." Though, now that he thought about it, Remus acted much the same when he was her age. What could have happened to him?
His mate's real concern struck another chord in his heart, and he moved closer to her comfortingly. "He knows, love. I just don't think he wants to accept it. I don't know why. But right now, all we can do is wait until he accepts our help." Another thought struck him, and he smiled sourly. "It's one of the torments about being a parent: We can only help them when they let us. Right now... I guess his teenage rebellion lasted longer than most." At that thought he laughed. "Though where he got it, I don't know. We were never all that rebellious. Maybe it's recessive from Dad and Papa, who knows?"
