I don't know... a lot of people say French is the most "romantic" language or something, and it does flow nicely, but it's a little too nasaly for me to call it the prettiest language. I would have to vote for Japanese.

The most pleasant sounding languages to me are Hebrew, German and Dutch.
Russian is very lovely aswell, but I can't relate to it anymore - I've heard too much tangly Finnish accents to enjoy it like I used to. ("SSHhssSSTRAS...phewSTCHEH." stressed )

hmm...I'd say Russian, even though I can't understand it, my friend speaks it fluently and its beautiful.

I doubt few languages can sound better than a good Sanskrit sutra, when recited well.
