"All right, sug, that'd work. What's the name?" Laurel smiled, just a little, "I thought you'd remember, since you were there. It was Arch, back when I was his student in Haven."

Johachim Mizrahi/the doctor and Ora/Lia are talking about what to do with the Kore, and it all has to do with the doctor resurrecting an extinct species from the DNA of a half-breed he encountered hundreds of years ago. Basically, the doctor just sold a bunch of clones of the half-breed to the Kore in hopes of starting an internal war with them and profiteering, but he misjudged the situation and now realizes that the side he sold them to will have to be fought. He resurrected the original species in the hope that they would side with him against the clones and save everybody. Unfortunately for him, there's a good chance they'll be dominant over humanity.
My three characters are dead, unconcious and in the equivalent of an ICU, and a good half of the galaxy away, respectively. *shrug* Things are running a little slow now from my own perspective, still waiting on a out-of-guild part to finish up and an opportunity to jump back in. A few days have passed since the Gilgamesh crashed, so your character has probably gotten some sleep by now. Other than that, I've lost track of characters.))

((I'm just as lost as everyone else, I need to just put out some kind of "and here is whats going on and where everyone is" statement. But it's been hard to do that. I just found out I'm an Aunt a second time, but we only had like a week's notice before the Overlord was born (overlord is the nickname I've given her), and had to wait another two weeks before we found out if my brother and his wife officially get to adopt her or not.....major stress there.))

She half lied, but then ruffled laurel's hair. "If we decide to have another one, we'll be sure you get to come."

Time's up.
The orphan with orange eyes and uncounted sparkling tattoos, member of the most respected gang on her homeworld and unordained sidekick to her people's greatest hero, guardian of a hidden treasure of the ACO... woke.
The unfading red slapmark on her cheek shattered, and a dead woman screamed soundlessly as her soul was dragged mercilessly into the abyss.
The girl smiled.
((Oh, awesome. You have no idea how much I wish I'd discovered that color sooner. So much easier to read!))
