The girl yelps and spins, sending the pieces of 'food' she had in her hands flying down the ally, and trips over her own feet, landing on her butt. She gazed up at the strange man in fear. 'I didn't even hear him come up behind me!' she thought horrified. Involuntarially, she began to analyze him, began to take in how different he looked compared with the people with whom she had grown up around, took in his visible strength and power, take in everything that made this stranger a threat to her. She noted, however, the man behind him as well, who was just as formidable looking, both men easily having three or more feet of hight on her, and an extra 150 pounds at the least. They were the type, she concluded, that wouldn't give a damn about a lowly ten year old girls life. Even after all that, she still summoned up the nerve to choke out a reply, to supress her fear. It was a talent of sorts, and she nurtured that talent greatly.
"I....I'm Kia." she stutters, and clears her throat. "Kia Meichi. Why...?"
She pauses, gazing behind the man who questioned her at the other man. "Why are you talking to me? And your names...."
'They sound like numbers.' she finished her sentence in her head.

One only started to sigh as he tilted his head backwards. He watched the waterfall from the the village's mountian. He liked this for some reason..it had bought him peace. He only yawned a bit as he looked at her. Two only sighed slowly when she asked for their names. He only grew more irritated.
"Kia..Meichi..once again..Our name are Two..My master name is One! Please don't make us repeat it again.."
Two said as he looked at her. One only cut his eyes when he heard his speaker begin to get curt. Which he often did to some nins..he was often times rude when the times didn't call for it. One only sighed slowly as he looked up at the sky. Two only scratched his head slowly.
"..Sorry...no disrespect..MY Master likes to meet different people from different parts of the world..to learn more about their traditions and such. He is rather out of touch...and this is the way he stays..close as possible to being human.."
Two said slowly. One looked up to the sky.

Kia gazed up at Two and reached behind herself, grabbing a fist full of her white scarf out of habit.
"I...I'm sorry!" she stutters. "It's just that your names are strange to me."
'I didn't mean any disrespect.' She listened quietly as Two went on explaining, her eyes growning wider and wider with each word.
"What do you mean by b...being human?" she questions softly, trying her best not to upset the men again.
Kia was ginuenly confused. From the way Two spoke, it made it seem that there was some sort of other creature out there that she was not aware of. A creature of equal intelligence and power to humans like herself. 'Am I talking to a spirit?' she questions herself, using her people's general term for creatures of great magic and wonder, such as the mythical Flame Bird, ghosts of the dead, and her tribe's goddess of sorts, Sokunaki, whom created the world. She turned her head to gaze at One in a new childlike wonder and respect.

"Oh our Names.. One is the Second Oldest created of his family... The oldest was Zero.. One Created me from the bodies of his murdered parents so he dubbed me Two."
Two did like when people asked about his culture. H e liked it rather than learning about other peoples culture. He liked to hear himself talk about how high and mighty the Gear Nation was..HE smiled slowly his metal smile. He only looked at her slowly.
" One is not like you..he is more or less a humanoid type. We are living chakra that connects to our..Machine body creating an artificial chakra network....One was created simply to fight..He is customizable in the midst of battle. That's all we know is fighting..He is so intact with fighting that he doesn't speak... He doesn't understand how to talk..so I talk for him..."
Two looked at One and gave him the thumbs up. One only sighed slowly as he walked closer. To the two already talking he bowed slightly. One had been introduced to other people before and he noticed that they usually bowed before entering in a conversation. However One had been losing connection with his human side...ever since his parents died and he lost contact of Hoshiko. They were the only things that he had..and he lost them. Two only frowned.
"He hasn't been really talktive..he lost his only friend a while back..and we havn't been able to find her....But I would like to introduce you to One."
Two said slowly.

Kia looked at Two with a highly new respect and fear. Most of what he said, mostly about what they were, made no sense to her. She was a foriegner, so her vocabulary is different from these strange peoples. She did understand, however, Two's explanation of One's history, which saddened her considerably, and his interests that, to an extent mirroring hers. The only thing different is that Kia did not enjoy fighting in the least, and struggled to learn even the simplist moves that involved using her chi, such as tree climbing and Shadow Clone jutsu. 'Perhaps 'chakara' is just the word they use for chi.' she concluded. She made sure that she nodded respectfully in time with Two as One silently tranversed over to her. He bowed, a sign of welcome, she presumed, so she returned the gesture with her own peoples sign of welcome. She smiled kindly at One, pushing her self off the ground, and greeted him, placing her arms one ontop of the other in front of her(making a little clap), then immediatly slidding them so that her palms were touching.
"Nano ku." she says, speaking in her native tounge, 'Nano ku' meaning 'welcome sir' roughly. "I am privilaged to see you." she continues.

Two only looked as he analyzed the welcome greeting she gave them. He had never seen such a thing that she had done. He had never such a greeting before. One only looked and a titled his head side ways. He didn't know about the greeting either but he had liked it. Then when she talked it was in such a strange tongue. Two was interested in this person. Two liked to be challenged by different people.
"You are different from the people that I have met..why is that?"
Two said curiously. One only looked kind of inquestively. He however sat down on the ground as he pulled the twelve swords off his back. He layed them down in a row and started to sharpen each sword. He noticed that back in the fight with Ban his blades failed to cut threw his opponent. So he decided to take the time to fix this problem. However Two looked at One.
"I am sorry he's being rude right now..but I would like to know about you..."
One only glanced over at Two and gave him the hand signal to shut up. One then started to glance back over to the thing that mattered to him. Sharpening his swords.

Kia nods absently to Two, keeping her eyes on One for a few moments. His multipule swords were very intimedating, and she had to force herself to tear her eyes away from them. The last thing she wanted was to upset them by making them think she suspected them of something, which for the moment, she didn't.
"I...I'm not from here." she answers Two, looking at him and kneeding the scarf in her hands. "I'm from a small tribe far away from here." She paused for a moment, then continued. "I'm sorry if I speak strangely. I'm still learning the strange words from this region."-=Ooc=-

Two only looked at One. He sighed slowly as he watched his master started to clean his weapons. One was getting ready for something that Two didn't know about. One wasn't being completly open to anyone anymore. He was starting to be more reserved and more shut up inside of himself..However If this is what made him happy then Two was happy. Two then looked back at the girl.
"Oh..I only learned the language by listening to others speak..so you are fine.."
Two said as he was more intrigued. He then looked at her as he crossed his arms. He was getting more interested in her.
"Were is home..tell me about it.."
One only sat there as held up each sword holding up to the light. They were reflecting just right. As he held each blade tilting them down to the ground. As he placed one by one back in the holster. He sighed slowly. He was getting bored again. He was thinking about Ban...and if he got away safely.

Kia's eyes turned to Two agian from where she was watching One out of the corner of her eye. His sharpening his swords was making her nervous. 'I hope he isn't thinking about killing me...' She mentaly shutters and forces herself to continue her conversation.
"Well...um...I come from a savanna-like region south of here..." she begins. "My tribe is small, not even close to as big as this."
She motions to the building around her.
"We all live together, me and my family. My father is the head counsilman, and my mother is our shaman. She heals us when we are sick or injured by using her chi. I'm practicing to do the same, though I dont think I could ever become as great as her..."
She trails of, homesickness comming over her agian.

Two only looked at Kia and he scratched his head. She used Chi. Two had heard of this it sounded like chakra to him. However he did remember something. He remembered her rummaging. One only looked slowly over towards them. Two only looked over at One while he was cleaning his swords. Two only scratched his head again.
"Hungry? I know master hasn't eaten for a while and his organic state does require him to eat every now and then maybe we can have lunch?"
One only glanced back over at Two. One only looked at Two as he had gave her an invite to lunch. One was aw stricken by how nice..Two was being. he never had anything nice to say to a human..ever. However she was different maybe...or maybe Two was messed up and One needed to fix him. Whatever the case..One did need to eat since it had been a few days since he had last eaten real food.

Kia thought Two's request over. 'I do need food...' she thinks, unconciously grabbing her stomach,'but can I trust these people?' She gazes ot the pair out of the corner of her eye, analyzing if they were a visible threat to her, which they are. Just one of them could easily take her down, even with her quick speed and reflexes, and by the lookes of how muscular their body's are, could very well tear her to shreads. In a matter of seconds, her mind calculated the chances of such people turning on her, as was her habit. It was suspicion that had kept her alive for this long. In the end though, hunger made the desicion for her. She turns back to Two and smiles.
"I would appreciate the gift very much. Thank you." she says, crossing her arms over her chest, taps the center of her neck with her knuckles, then crosses her arms agian, her people's sign of thanks.

Even after Shun had left, Furanken remained frozen in her spot for nearly a minute as she looked over her shoulder for a moment, then sighed, seeing her daughter. "Asura, dear, cover your ears for a moment..." She whispered, then smiled sadly as the girl did as she was told, mouthing a soft 'Good girl,' before she stared out into the direction that the Uchiha had disappeared off into:
"UCHIHA SHUN, YOU'RE THE WORST
Throughout the village, her voice echoed, but the Kakuzu hardly cared. Now that she had gotten that out of her system, she could only sigh before she looked to her daughter who still had her ears covered. Taking a deep breath, she knelt down in front of Asura. "...Mommy's going to have head out as well, it seems," she started quietly as she kissed her daughter's head as the girl nodded. In all the years that Shun and Furanken had come and gone for training, this was nothing new to the girl. Though she appeared sad for a moment, as her mother kissed her she smiled, and giggled before she gazed up at the woman with shining eyes.

Within the hour, the babysitter had arrived and was off having story time with Asura somewhere peaceful within the village as Furanken stood at the exit of Takigakure no Sato, a katana in her hand. Though the handle appeared worn and the blade slightly chipped in some places, it was the best she could snag on such short notice. Within it's battered sheath, it rested at the Kakuzu's side, and with it's new wielder, the blade departed.

Two looked and he nodded slowly as he walked towards One. One only stared at him for a moment or two. He didn't understand what Two saw in this girl..or why they had to talk to her for so long. One only adjusted his body as he stood up and he put his weapons away. One only did a few seals looking at him.
'But I am not hungry'
The hand signs said. However Two didn't care..the first interesting being outside of One and Hoshiko. He wanted to ruin it all by being a party pooper. HE knew that they made a promise to be each other's only friend..but when she dissappeared what he was suppose to do..completly forget about the human race. Two only shook his head and dragged One along. He looked at her and he slowly scratched his head.
"Master likes what they call BBQ...There should be a stand somewere..And don't worry it's on Master.."
One only glanced at Two. HE was going to use the money he earned.. One nodded yes. He was hungry anyways. HE did like BBQ...One only squinted slowly. He was going to make TWO earn that money back..since all he was a recon model..and One did all the work..to ensure they were aliv and well.

Kia blinks up at Two and quickly follows him, walking on the side opposite to where One was being dragged. One still intimidated her greatly, especially with those weapons of his, and it seemed that he obviously did not like her at all. This made her wary, but instead of making herself worry over the odd person, she decided to ask Two a few questions of her own. She did not like it when people stayed silent.
"What is BBQ?" she asks quietly, looking up at the man curiously. "Is it some type of animal?"

One looked down and hten up at the sky. He signaled to Two.
'We have to go the Jounins are starting.'
Two only bowed to his new friend. He looked sad..well as sad as a robot with no human face could look. He only bowed to his new friend and got ready to leave.
"Sorry. M aster is in the Jounin exams and he needs to get there asap."
with that Two and One ran off as fast as they could.
