Following Sheska down the hallway, stack of books in arms, Winry wasn't entirely sure what made her glance over her shoulder to look at Al. She still couldn't see much of anything, but there was something wrong. She slowed her pace a little.
"Al?" She tilted her head a little, as if looking from a different angle would make her vision clear in the darkness. "Are you okay?"
If her arms hadn't been occupied with books, she would have tapped his shoulder. Instead, she settled for walking a few paces ahead of him, trying to figure some way to include him in the conversation held between herself and Sheska.
((>_<;; Kyaaah, Al~ *pounce cling* No being distraught. XD; We loooove youuu~ ... okay I'm done now.))

Of course you have, Al! We all missed you! ...but it's not your fault...
Her eyes travelled to the floor, focusing on the dim light on the tiles covering the floor. She had a sneaking suspicion that Al wasn't telling her everything.
Not that I should expect him to. He is Ed's brother... lord knows that boy wouldn't tell me anything if I paid him. She scowled a little, then smiled at Al.
"All right, if you're sure..." She turned around again, jogging to fall into step with Sheska again, books still cradled in her arms. She set quickly to making small talk with her friend, suddenly not wanting to continue conversation with Al.
She shouldn't have been upset with him, he wasn't wrong for feeling alienated.
...but then again, now he knew how she felt, all those years they'd been gone. How was she supposed to know what was going on? She wouldn't have known if one of them had died until someone from the military came to tell them!!
She gnawed her tongue, suddenly torn somewhere between punching the wall and whirling around to hug Al.
...Suddenly, she wondered if people considered her bipolar...

...Suddenly, she wondered if people considered her bipolar...Ashtoreth tried and failed to hold in giggles as she watched Winry's face contort into a strange mix of emotions, Moody much?She calmed herself when she noticed the strange looks laughing had earned her, "Sorry... Winry was making faces." She looked at the three in front of her, turning her attention back to Al, "And Al, as for the feeling you've been away too long, it's just a something that happens when your uncomfortable, you just need to get used to things around here. After all," She stopped for a moment, "some people never feel completely accepted after being away, but things are supposed to change you can't just expect everything to stay the same, so treat it as something to learn from, rather than something to get upset about."

((I'm sorry to say that I just cannot keep up with this thread anymore. I just have no time. So, I probably won't be roleplaying much anymore. Just letting you all know, so I'm not like those other people who start roleplay threads and vanish. xd It's just really difficult for me. I'm so stressed right now with... everything. So my computer time is limited too much to be able to keep up with this fast-paced RP. Keep having fun, though, the rest of you.))
Kat ran from the building and to the train station, leaping swiftly onto the train as it pulled out of the platform. She sat down in a seat by the window, her head down and one of her giant alchemy books from her black bag on her lap.
As the train picked up speed, she looked back at Central.
Maybe I willl return again.... someday.....
She kept staring back at the city long after it had vanished into the distance. Then, sighing, she stuck her nose in her musty old book again.

Riza Hawkeye Chuui "Sir," she said softly, "why haven't the generators come on?" She frowned at the inquriring look in his eyes. "The building has backup generators for situations like this, doesn't it?" she asked. "Why haven't they come on? The power has been out for nealy an hour and a half now...
No doubt that squeal-ish type noise belonged to Sheska. Anyone would know her wailing about an alien from a mile away. However, he could distinguish that there were definately more people in the room. He could sense that there was one about the height of Edward and he had a very familiar aura about him.
He wondered if indeed Alphonse was there. It would be a bittersweet reunion if he was there. He hadn't seen Edward for quite some time, nor, if he remembered correctly, did Al have the memories of what happened in the past.
Glancing to Riza in the dark, he shrugged. He wasn't quite sure what to do. Stepping forward, he tried to discern where the various people were in the room. Squiniting through the darkness, he thought he saw an outline that belonged to Adine. What is SHE doing here at a time like this? Shouldn't she be back in her office? He grasped Riza's hand, since they were in the dark, as to lead her so she wouldn't run into anything.

Great. Just who she wanted to see...
With a heavy sigh, she pulled her hand from Mustang's grasp and folded her arms over her chest to glower at Adine in the darkness. She really wanted to just grab Roy by the arm and yank him away from her...for she had a feeling there would be more than simple wandering eyes to the imminent conversation...but that would have been out of line. So instead she resigned herself to attempting to set Adine ablaze with her eyes as the redhead approached the brig. gen. and amicably struck up conversation...
