Sora wondered out of his room, sleep still in his eyes. Then he tripped over the lack of movement of the train. "huh?"
He got up and looked out the window to see most everyone wondering off the train.
"Everyones leaving without me!?" He said to no one particular as he ran through the train and out the nearest door.
"Hey wait up!"

Zolx spotted Sora charging along towards the rest of the group though he couldn't tell who it was. He took out his cell phone and texted Akiko.

Mika sighed quietly, pulling a fan from her sleeve to start a breeze and keep herself from passing out.
"A large stone does nothing but grow moss," she said quietly. "Pebbles are much better at getting into shoes. But the best way to draw a mouse is with cheese."
I think we should split up to find the keyhole
((Alisyn, I think I'm gonna do what we discussed in our PM's, I've got it mostly figured out actually. Also, for everyone else, from this point forward our unemotional goth is going to be speaking in absolute riddles.))

Akiko turned around at Sora's shout. Take that back. Sora's still pretty darn adorable. And still not that bad-looking. Ha-ha.
At Mika's comment, Akiko creased her eyebrows. It was Mika who kept Akiko's brain from turning into mush.
Finally she understood. "Good idea, Mika. We'll split up," she explained for everyone's benefit. "Now...is this everyone with us?"
"Oh...hold on a sec." Akiko flipped open her cell phone. Text from Zolx? Yeah, they were missing him.
She groaned. As much as she hated talking on the phone, texting was pretty annoying, too. She still wasn't the best at it.
She stuck her tongue out and concentrated on sending a reply to Zolx, confused also over his strange message.
Y? Wht little friend? Y do we hafta stay 2gether? We were gonna split up
Blech. An ugly message but it would have to do. She clicked send and motioned for everyone to wait.

((Woah, I missed more than I thought!))
Kiante had no idea what Mika had meant, until Akiko explained it. He yelled a command for Will to stay in the train, which he was happy to obey.
"Split up huh?" Kiante said to the group, "I guess it's a...fairly good idea. Well...tell Zolx to keep an eye on everyone. If only one person is attacked, they're done for. Now, I'm off!" He said, as he walked away from the group. He put his hand to the scabbard on his back, just to make sure. The sword was still there. He pulled it out as he walked down and old looking road. He noticed an old hardware store, and went in, wondering if he might find something useful.
As he walked through the door, he half expected to get attacked and see treasure chests lying around. It wasn't quite that way though. He looked around. It looked like it had some workshop in the back area. It wasn't a big shop, so that was most of the room. He went in there, wondering what he might find. There was an anvil in the corner, with a half finished sword lying on top. It was a scimitar to be exact, not the kind Kiante would use. He glanced around, and noticed a whetstone on a table. He grabbed it and began sharpening his sword. If he was going to use it, it needed to be strong.

Mika smiled in a nonexistant way, it would figure Kiante would leave without a partner.
"A lot little sheep is oft the first stricken by the wolf," Mika said, continuing to fan herself. "Young little man, bring me my parasol," she adressed Will. "A pair of shoes is only useful when there are two."
Mika opened her parasol and walked after Kiante, hoping to catch up to him before he got too far away from everyone else.

Will did as he was told and then went back into the train.
Meanwhile, Kiante was finished sharpening his sword. It wasn't Ultima Weapon, but it'd do. He walked out of the shop, only to see Mika running after him. "Decided on the buddy system eh?"

"Guys, wait!" Akiko called after them. "I think..."
She gave up. "Just keep your cell phones handy, okay?"
And turning to Will, she added, "And you be careful, too. Don't...like, let anything in the train if anything happens to come along. Only us. Okay? Stay safe, pay attention, blah blah, we won't leave you behind, just find the King and stuff."

"Had the bird remained he may have recieved his message," Mika hummed to him, standing well in the shade of her parasol. She most certainly did not want to get burned. "Did the bird idly fly, or was he looking for his worm?"

Kiante understood Mika's first encrypted message, but it took him a few minutes for the second.
"...Oh! You mean did I actually have a purpose? Yeah, I'm gonna just look for the Keyhole. I figure the King can take care of himself...er, usually. I just stopped to give myself a little extra defense. And uh...what's with the parasol?" He said, as he pulled up beside her and began walking back down the road.

He had just sent the Msg when Kya arrived, "I take it we're breaking up in pairs then? Do we even know what we're looking for? I mean The King didn't exactly brief us on what we were doing here and I did come in late. "
Zolx watched as Mickey and the his new friend continued, "Seems the he's found a moogle. I figured that alone was a good lead to- whatever we're looking for. Everyone else seem to think wondering aimlessly is a better idea. I would be surprised if they were all looking for the Keyhole."
He looked over to Kya and studied her for a moment. His staring was obvious but not he was by no means ogling her. He glided in a circle around her and focused on her wings mostly. After a bit he stopped in front of her and looked her in the eye. He looked as if he was mauling something over in his head, or try to decided whether or not to ask something. Finally he looked away and asked, "Were, you born like that? As an Angel I mean."
There seemed to be more to it than that, but he didn't say anything else.

"I am sorry to disappoint you......... but I have no past memories...I think I have had them since birth.... but along with many other things, I will never really know for sure." She said looking away, suddenly thinking about what the demon said earlier about her past, and how she cant remember much passed a certain point. "I can't even remember how I got my scars....." She said longingly. "Why do you ask?"

Akiko flipped open her cell phone, quickly read the text, then painstakingly sent the numbers. "I hate cell phones..." she muttered. "Barely even use the stupid thing..." She conveniently forgot how she had begged and begged for a cell phone just a year ago.
She looked around at the remaining group. "Well..." Akiko took some time to try and overcome her indecisiveness. And the battle was soon lost. "Whoever wants to follow me, follow!" Then she took off in the opposite direction Kiante and Mika had gone.

"Excuse me, sir, kupo," the moogle said suddenly, and before the King knew it his little...paw-hand things were over his eyes. "Ours is still a secret village, kupo."
When he was finally free to look around, Mickey noted that it was an understatement to call it a village. Though maybe not worthy of Tokyo or New York status, it was fairly large and was definitely a modern, up-to-date...city, really. And with magic to help out, it was even more impressive than any Earthling city.
But it wasn't quite as bustling as would be expected. Just like Tokyo, just like China, it was deserted.
The moogle was visibly quaking. "You're here, kupo," he trembled, "and so I hope you won't mind if I leave you here, kupo."
Mickey watched him leave, but said nothing. He merely wandered through the moogle-city curiously.
