Yamato1 Tatsuman Yamato1 Tatsuman Yamato1 Josafat Maybe they will work the same way cry but the new Ganondorf can use attacks from Twilight... like his sword maybe... domokun If they work the same, I will weep. they made all this new s**t, all these unlockables, I would think the LEAST they could do is change his moveset. But what will they do with Ness, for that matter? We allready know that Lucas's moveset is a clone-list of Ness. Save for the fact that his PK Flash is PK Freeze. They still work the same, though. Ness doesn't work anything like Lucas. Ness is pretty much his Melee incarnate mixed with his 64 incarnate.
Lucas' smashes are all different, all off his specials are different. (especially PK Freeze. It's nothing like Flash at all.)
Take my word for it, Ness and Lucas are very different. At most he could be considered Luigified.
No denying it now... Wolf is in...His smash attacks are all that is different. PK Freeze controls and activates the same as PK Flash. Except it freezes. Hooray? PK Fire is the same. Wow. It shoots straight in air too? Sorry, that's like arguing Mario and Luigi's fireball. PK Thunder is the same. Nothing different. PSI Magnet is different in that it doesn't surround Lucas the way Ness's does. But the moveset is practically the same. With a couple of different effects. And it's not like it would be particularly hard to give one of them a different moveset from the other. Ness's attacks in his game aren't THAT limited. stare and hmm... Wolf fights a little differently from Fox.... though at least two of the special attacks I saw were copied from him... *sigh* time will tell... You obviously haven't seen Lucas fight, have you? PK Freeze activates nothing like PK Flash. It's more like Din's Fire than PK Flash.
It burns in an arch and isn't multi-hit either.
Different in knockback, and distance.
Indeed.
No, it's not. His aerials are all different, his tilts are different, and the only things he shares with Ness are his FS and a few specials that work different.
I agree with this, but changing Ness rather than giving Lucas a new move set when Ness is the veteran would be kinda weak as well.
Yeah, he' fights different, but shares heavily modified specials.
Indeed it will.
It still sounds like you're arguing Luigi to Mario on this, Tats. Ok, I'll relent. Don't give Ness a completely new list. But at least change some of his attacks in the opposite direction that they changed lucas's attacks. Anything but a clone. D: Luigi to Mario doesn't bug me. I don't consider Luigi a clone. But Ness and Lucas are very different save their specials, unlike Luigi who shares other moves with Mario.
Yeah, that would've been nice. Or not make Lucas a Ness clone in the first place.
2 Fox clones would piss me off to no end...I'd be bitching about it until SSB 4. :XP:

Luigi and Mario might not bother you, but I remember the complaints.. ugh. Way back when. So many people were annoyed that Luigi was even THAT close to Mario. But some people also argued to hell and back that they were completely different. That's why I think this argument is similar. xd Anyway, I hope Wolf is different enough to justify his similar attacks. And I hope that's not his landmaster tank. I can only hope someone got the pictures mixed up and it's actually Falco's.

Also, I love this story mode. I checked up on some of the screenies http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUO_VYc-0YQ&feature=related In that video, the characters actually get involved with each other, unlike in Melee, where you just play through, there's actual cut scenes.

They're twins xd
I guess it is. But no matter. I'll have fun playing as them either way, but they look totally different to me. Won't know for sure until I play them though.
His smashes and stance are different from what I saw, but I didn't see much else. Save his Falco-like blaster with a range nerf.
No, Falco's is blue That's Wolf's, which doesn't make sense. Star Wolf doesn't have a tank... ._.'

Woot. Found a list of the entire roster. So, that makes 35 characters on the select screen, and 39 characters total (Shiek, Zero Suit, Pokemon Trainer is 3.)
As for me I can't wait until the next game, even though I haven't even played this one yet.
First Game, 12 Characters.
Second Game, 26 Characters, 14 New
Third Game, 35 Characters, 15 New
So, that means that for the next game, we should be looking at a 45+ Characters Roster IMO.

You forget, last time they were going to only include the 25 from Melee and make it online.
Which is what they might do with SSB4
But it's a bit early to be speculating, isn't it?

We know nothing about the next game, or even that there will be a next game.
We don't even have Brawl yet.
And we just learned the roster today...
I'd say it's too early, but meh. I'd rather not get into speculation about SSB4.

But it's a bit early to be speculating, isn't it? You know.. for some reason I feel a little disappointed that there are only 35. Maybe I'm greedy. But when they said "No more than 50", I was like.... Woo, that's a lot of fighters. o.o

Ah well, I would be a bit disappointed, but the sheer amount of content and stages makes me unable to be xd
Sonic and Ness, Green Hill Zone, how awesome SSE looks...
This game is going to rock out loud.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm excited as hell. Trust me. the low number of 35 (compared to 50) is the only thing that KIND of disappoints me. And that "No more than 50" was something I believe Sakurai said before the Dojo was erected.
